These are my favorite types of videos!!!! I would LOVE if you did essentials for age ranges (0-3, 3-6, etc..). Especially with a sustainable, ethical, minimal approach!! So thankful for all the ways you’ve influenced me and made me a better mother, wife, and woman of God.
All those prints and colors are so beautiful! Also, a helpful tip: you can use socks for "mittens", and then you don't need to buy any actual ones. IMO, the mittens have never stayed on anyway.
100% using this tip! a lot of latex allergies run in my family and i'm afraid of using anything with elastics (unless specified they're latex free) on the baby.

My hubby and I are too and these have been super helpful for me!! Almost 20 weeks but I'm trying to research early as possible! Congrats to you and your family. God bless!
I love the mittens. It gets cold here and it keeps their hands warm. Also they keep their hands in fists. And remember my kids getting hair wrapped around their fingers (I have long hair) and its hard to see. Those helped with all those things.

I REALLY love the aesthetic of these brands, but i just can’t afford them. I wish they offered more neutral washed out colors and designs in the affordable brands.
Everything to me is so drab. I’m old school. I love color. I agree way to expensive for the average person, but lots of her things are sent to her at no cost. Kinda like an ax so her viewers will want. I am sure she lurched a lot though. A few neutrals are ok, just not everything.
Try dying some- I was able to dye my son’s white boring onesies brown and a brown-pink neutral using black tea and avocado skins&pits, respectively. They look awesome, I’ll definitely be doing that again!
I completely agree about making night feeding as easy as possible. I bought a cheap bassinet with my first kid and HATED it. Ended up bed sharing which made breastfeeding easier but this time I getting a better one. The one you purchased is what I want so can't wait to hear how you feel about it!
Bed sharing is only dangerous when mom or dad has a sleeping disorder, on a street drug, or prescribed a narcotic. The suffocation rate is so low world wide bc most do not get narcotics prescribed on discharge. US is near 100%.
I just got rid of my Halo bassinet. It is very heavy and hard to move. And I felt like I wanted to be able to move it around more easily. Our bed is also very low so I couldn't get it low enough to have baby at a convenient height. But it's great quality and the vibrating thing was nice. Just my 2 cents. I've gotten rid of so much since baby number 1.

We have sooooo many Muslin blankets because I used them for EVERYTHING... as spit up, to wipe spit up, to swaddle, to put on the grass, on the floor, over the car seat, over the baby ... and my now almost four year old *still* uses them. She carry’s one around almost all the time when she’s in the house and they’re great for summer time, because she ALWAYS wants to be covered up, but it’s hot. They’ve been so useful to us! Love all the stuff you have!

I love this video! I am pregnant with my second and felt completely bombarded by all the things I “needed” with my first. It puts my mind at ease seeing your video and how you are so minimal!🤍 Jesus bless
I could not get pregnant for 2,5 years. But started gluten, soy, dairy free diet + vitamin d, and also prenatal v. And with in 3 month I got pregnant 😉. My baby girl is 5 month old now💓

I'm not even halfway through the video yet, but im loving the "unboxing" feel. Like we get to open Christmas presents together. I'm just as excited about those blankets as you are. Literally going to order some right this second. You've just gained a forever follower mom of 2. Im 24 weeks with my second and trying to get everything together.
I just bought the halo bassinet a couple weeks ago on sale! It’s also my dream come true! As a c section mama last baby, I suffered with getting in and out of bed. I wish we had just gone ahead and bought it last go around! It I’m so happy I committed to purchasing it this time to make my healing a lot easier
Sarah, can you do a video about how you manage when sick? I am a momma of two toddlers and just came down with a terrible case of strep throat 😷 What do you do when you are sick? Are there house chores you forgo? Or relegate to others? How do you heal yourself while still having the responsibility of being a mom and wife? I thank G-d don't get sick often but when I do I have such a difficult time managing everything (yes, my hubby helps but still I find it hard) Thanks 😊
I’m also pregnant and totally felt your comment about whether or not you were committed enough to to go downstairs to get the screw driver... the struggle is real 🤣
This was the most entertaining "what I bought" video I've ever seen. I love that you included footage of you opening and assembling!! I'm not even a mom, hahaha.
This is the RANDOMIST. But I’d die to hear back from you…have you done Invisalign or any sort of braces in the past few years? Your teeth look beautiful mama!
Goodness! That bassinet is so perfect! I agree.. making breast feeding as comfortable and convenient as possible might encourage more Mama’s to try and keep with it! That being said I do not feel that Mamas that choose to bottle feed should be made to feel guilty or bad if they choose not to for whatever reason.. as a PedsRN I can tell you there are so many baby formulas that you can fine tune for your babies needs. A fed happy baby that is growing is the goal! Love to you and your family! ❤️
We are expecting a baby we didn’t expect to have, so we are starting from scratch as well. I LOVE it. I know exactly what I want. We don’t know the gender either, so I have bought all gentlest neutral stuff as well. It also helps not getting all glitter eyed about how cute the gender specific stuff is!
OMG this is awesome. We're restarting fresh too with this pregnancy. Didn't anticipate but very exciting. I can't wait to find out what your having. Xoxo
I've been getting so nervous and excited with each of your videos! I'm due August 5! Our babies are so close!! Hope you have an easy delivery and enjoy your adorable baby! Thanks for making this ride so much easier for me. Baby #1..!
Hey Sarah! Just wanted to let you know that the shirt you're wearing is a traditional paraguayan(my country) piece, it's made from "Ao Poi" and indigeous people make it! it is beyond crazy that it ended up in a thrift shop in Canada!!
I’m 32 weeks pregnant with my baby girl I also don’t make it past 37 weeks pregnant and my other two babies were born at 35 weeks both were born super healthy but I also had nothing I thought I was done at 3 kids as well but I got pregnant with my 4th baby so watching ur videos has helped me to see what I need and what I don’t I love ur videos…
Love this video! I am 39 weeks pregnant with my first child and I’m so happy that these are basically all of the products I have. So many people tried talking me out of the halo bassinest but I wasn’t having it 😂
@@SarahTherese WoW ! Lol .My grandson was born last week. MY dil gained 52 pounds and she is 5ft .tall .Good luck on your labor and delivery and new baby !
Tell me about it! I’m so happy for them and rest is the most important thing as well as enjoying this precious time of their lives. But... I really miss them both!
I am four months postpartum and this time around I have been much more intentional about what we have used so far. There are so many baby products that are adorable but not necessarily practical for us. Or they are only used for such a short period of time that I tend to pass on those items since the newborn stage goes by so quickly. I also bought more swaddle blankets this time for the exact same reason. I did splurge and got a really nice bouncy seat this time around too. Most of our larger items with our oldest daughter were hand me downs from when my nephew was a baby so we did end up needing some newer items. I was much more careful in my selections since I had a better grasp on what to expect. I pretty much went into full prepping mode around where you are in pregnancy. I got so much done 😂. I also did a lot more this time around to prepare for labor and delivery. I was able to have a successful vbac! And now our youngest daughter is here and I can’t imagine life any other way. So excited for you and your sweet family. Praying for a safe delivery for you and baby. You’ve got this momma!! Oh and something that really helped me prepare mentally was a Christian hypnobirthing video I would listen to on TH-cam. It was just breathing techniques while listening to scripture. It was so peaceful and helped me to focus on Christ and prepare my mind for what was ahead. The video is by Paper Tiger Mama.
Loved this video, as a FTM to be, you really brought home the urge of being intentional and I then watched after baby products you will not be buying which has helped me not to overbuy!
I'm cooking my first baby and found the oldschool halo swivel sleeper without sounds and music used. Definitely the most exciting thing I've collected so far
I’m so excited for baby to be here! I’m not even pregnant or expecting a child soon (since I’m not married yettt). But watching these videos of yours- it’s so much FUN and encouraging for my future. I love your content, Sarah! And your family is the sweetest and most beautiful
Haaka is great for clogged ducts. If you put super hot water and a tablespoon of Epsom salt, it will draw the clog out. Repeat if necessary! This is the best remedy.
I love the Hakka but keep in mind, I learned from my lactation nurse, it only gets out the form milk and the hindmilk is the most important. I think that’s how it was… Basically, all the fat and good stuff is after what the Hakka gets out. So make sure that you mix that milk with milk that you’ve pumped so they’re still getting all the nutrients in fats!
Same here, but I definitely had a lot of letdowns/leaks on the other side while I was feeding. I was using this for a while and then I was talking to a lactation person because it was my first time with a kid so I was just making sure everything was going correctly. And that’s where I learned about the Hokka when I was using that to just collect the milk so it wasn’t wasted. I had no idea before but she just said it’s fine to use, but your child will be hungry sooner because it doesn’t have all that extra good stuff that helps fill them up :-)
I honestly love how excited you are showing off all your new things, I love thrifting and I know you try and thrift a lot too, but its always nice buying new things, especially when it's for something as special as a new baby
One thing iv learned from my last baby is in the first wee while whilst yourself and baby are getting used to breast feeding, is its good to pack a spare top for mamma as well. I soaked a few last time whilst trying to get baby to latch. Will be ready this time round 😂
3rd trimester with baby #3 ….I love your videos. Thank you for keeping it real!! You’re getting me in the nesting mode:)) Sending love and support from California ☀️
@@kaylas6800 of course (clothes, diapers, some small blankets) but this video looks like first baby mom (ton of blankets, feeding-pillows when you have similar pillow to sleep during pragnanacy etc). With my second baby I didn't have a half of that and baby was clean, feeded and happy. Everyhody do what he wants but sorry - it is not minimalist style anymore.
Thank you for making this, Sarah! I'm almost in my third trimester and a first time mom so I need these kind of videos to educate and prepare myself. Lots of love❤️❤️
We also used the beside sleeper which made night feeding easy! It went right next to the bed and had a zip up panel that would come down and I could roll right to it to nurse and then zip back up once baby was done.
Momma you are G-L-O-W-I-N-G!! ♥️ praying for a smooth and joy filled birth and a graceful transition for you and the family as you get closer to labor and delivery ♥️ God is so good!
Love the video! Being a mom of three, myself, I already have "my" list of must-have baby products, but I'm always open for new suggestions :-) However, I was so hoping you would buy the "Babybay" bassinet instead of the Halo, it is so much more practical, directly attached to your side of the bed with one side open, but completely safe, adjustable in height, and made from sustainable wood. I used my Babybay for all my 3 little ones and would never use anything else. By the way, I loooove that beautiful backpack, totally gonna buy one! Thanks for your great content and all the Best for the delivery! Can't wait!
subscribed because I am a first time young mom and I just love your editing style! It was so easy to follow everything and you're naturally really entertaining haha.
Haakaa is soooo good! I never once used a normal pump for 3.5 years of feeding my kids but always had a huge amount in the freezer snd was able to donate to 2 other babies to just from the haakaa while feeding on the other
LOVE all the blankets, and Haakaa pump is bomb. I got an Elvie and that increased my milk supply and allowed me to run errands while I pumped, while also distracting me from pumping. If you're open to trying out other strollers, I loved my buggaboo and Uppababy (we got both used) since I could run with them off road, and they had good turn radius/stability for New England fall/winter. I could pop the bassinets right off if baby fell asleep and bring them inside sleeping.
So I’m a first time mom, and I’ve been watching so many of your videos. I just love them. But would you definitely recommend minimizing as a first time mom? I’m trying to budget, but also get the things I need at the same time. And of course family will help, but I just wanted to know your thoughts? Also could you maybe do a video of maturnity clothing staples that you have found could be stylish? I’m 13 weeks so I don’t have much of a bump yet, but I’ve tried hacks BC recently a lot of my clothes have been really tight and uncomfortable on my belly, and they help. But I just thought I would ask, I apologize for asking so many questions😂
I keep coming back to this video to reference things I need to buy for my second baby due in two weeks 😂 just bought the nursing pillow (I hope it arrives in time for me to take it to the hospital!) and I’ve got my eyes on those gorgeous bags too 👀 exciting times! Beautiful video, loved your energy in this 🥰
Love the haul! Your style and color palette is the same as mine. I look at all the hauls and they are rarely neutral lol We wont know what our baby will be until its born so were going a neutral colored boho style.
I am so excited and I’m so curious if it will be a boy or girl. You have such a lovely family Sarah. I watch your vlogs with so much pleasure. I wish you all the best. 🍀🥰
I'm definitely not a minimalist, but interestingly to me I don't have nearly as much for our upcoming fifth baby. Carseat, diapers, a wrap, one hat, one blanket, three burp cloths and 7 newborn sleepers 😂 I co-sleep and breastfeed and don't use any baby gear. Still, not claiming to be a minimalist. Just an interesting observation.
@@jestem.mrowka.bigbitowka5238 if it didn’t come with the seat that means it hasn’t been crash tested with the seat. If you get into an accident those strap covers can cause the straps to slide down & baby can be ejected from the seat & also the car.
@@ellebee511 I guess the straps could make the straps that loose and fall off. I thought what's more likely with any age is that in the case of an accident or sudden stop, their bodies continue to move in motion until the straps stop them, which can still cause various serious injuries to their heads and whatnot. Same principle as why to not put kids in their car seats with puffer jackets on.
I am so excited. Yesterday I thought "Please post another video. Or tell us, you're having your baby now. ... is Sarah fine? Lord, please be with Sarah and her family." Thanks for the update. 😊
On point as always! So many giggles through this video, thanks for always making us smile, Sarah. Had to share with my sister-in-law who will be a new mama this winter. You gave some great tips! ❤🤙👌
I LOVED having the halo with my second boy! I didn’t have it with my first and it was a game changer especially having a high bed as well. And when nursing he was close and convenient and it made getting up at night multiple times a BREEZE.

I just had my daughter at 33 weeks and I'm so glad you're having a happy healthy pregnancy! ❤
I love your uploading schedule cause it’s the days and the hour I sit and drink my tea so it’s perfectly spot on 👊🏽😎
So excited for baby!!
just looking at the color palette of everything sitting on the bed is beautiful lol. they’re all so simple but gorgeous
Watching your videos about pregnancy and labor and everything is helping me get so excited to be a mom in a year or two. Thank you!❤️
Sarah your hair!!! It looks so beautiful! I love your joy and I’m so excited for you and your growing family!
Inspiring 🙌🏻 I’m 25 weeks and have been watching a lot of baby videos. This one is very good. Minimal is the best!
Love this video! I am 39 weeks pregnant with my first child and I’m so happy that these are basically all of the products
I have. So many people tried talking me out of the halo bassinest but I wasn’t having it 😂
I’m so exited! Near panic attack seeing how big your belly has gotten! Praying for your smooth labour!💕
@@SarahTherese WoW ! Lol .My grandson was born last week. MY dil gained 52 pounds and she is 5ft .tall .Good luck on your labor and delivery and new baby !
I’m so excited for Baby!! Your birth blogs are so encouraging and help me feel less fear for my own labor. (Not pregnant yet. But hopefully soon)
Me sitting here literally crying because I don’t know what I’m gonna do in a month when I don’t have Sarah or Delilah‘s pregnancy content
I know: You'll be watching their newborn content :-)
Chloe Roy is a lovely Christian lifestyle vlogger and she's pregnant
Tell me about it! I’m so happy for them and rest is the most important thing as well as enjoying this precious time of their lives. But... I really miss them both!
25 weeks pregnant today and your videos are so inspiring. I look at u end get excited to be a mom❤️ strength to u Sarah.
I always only nursed my baby on one side per feed for this reason. I never had milk supply issues and my babies got all that lovely hind milk 💕
I had no idea before but she just said it’s fine to use, but your child will be hungry sooner because it doesn’t have all that extra good stuff that helps fill them up :-)
Maybe a Hakka will be good for me for before feeds… I have a huge let down, and my son had trouble getting the fatty milk because of it. Hmmm
I honestly love how excited you are showing off all your new things, I love thrifting and I know you try and thrift a lot too, but its always nice buying new things, especially when it's for something as special as a new baby
I love your excitement for baby and items to be used !
Nothing like a new baby!!
You’re getting me in the nesting mode:))
Sending love and support from California ☀️
This doesn't look like a minimalist haul at all but that might be just me. Love the colors though 😍
Lol probably because almost the first half is a ton of blankets 😁
Babies still need a lot lol can’t be too minimalist with a baby
@@kaylas6800 they need a safe place to sleep, something to eat (bottle or breast), and some clothes to wear. That’s it, pretty minimal.
I’d say this is pretty minimal compared to a lot of other hauls!
“This is not a blanket haul, this is a baby haul” 😅
I was expecting a pile of babies lol xx
I'm 38 weeks today (first pregnancy)! I feel like you're a distant-pal to experience this amazing journey with! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
No way! Same, same, same. 38 weeks, first baby. Wishing you all the best 🥰
I'm just curious how you use these blankets, and what for? 😉 They're beautiful. We had a lot of cloth diapers, and that was necessary for us.
Love the video! Being a mom of three, myself, I already have "my" list of must-have baby products, but I'm always open for new suggestions :-)
However, I was so hoping you would buy the "Babybay" bassinet instead of the Halo, it is so much more practical, directly attached to your side of the bed with one side open, but completely safe, adjustable in height, and made from sustainable wood.
But also your cream top!!! I absolutely need the details. It looks so comfy’ 😩
I love how Sarah practices safe sleep!!
Beautiful video, loved your energy in this 🥰
so excited to watch this because I am due with my first on Christmas Day and don’t know where to start in terms of shopping :)
Congrats. I am due October 22nd. Not my first :)
@@Nordap1986 congrats!!! anything else you’d recommend from experience?
Love the haul! Your style and color palette is the same as mine. I look at all the hauls and they are rarely neutral lol We wont know what our baby will be until its born so were going a neutral colored boho style.
We always used socks for our kids and it worked great if you don't have mittens
The nursing pillow is GENIUS
I am so excited and I’m so curious if it will be a boy or girl. You have such a lovely family Sarah. I watch your vlogs with so much pleasure. I wish you all the best. 🍀🥰
I'm definitely not a minimalist, but interestingly to me I don't have nearly as much for our upcoming fifth baby. Carseat, diapers, a wrap, one hat, one blanket, three burp cloths and 7 newborn sleepers 😂
I co-sleep and breastfeed and don't use any baby gear. Still, not claiming to be a minimalist. Just an interesting observation.
I personally don't swaddle because I want them to wake up regularly to nurse 😊 That startle reflex is so important.
I had the same impression-I’m not a “minimalist” and I don’t have as much stuff as she has.
@@rosaraudales you dont use a pram?
Due date twins (our first baby)! ✨ I found your channel last year, looking forward to watching your old/new videos about raising kids!
I loved this video, the soft music, all the gratitude and nesting 💕
This is the first video of yours I am seeing and you are so entertaining to watch!! 😁
The car seat strap covers are not safe. The only ones that are safe are the ones that came with the seat.
She knows that. She’s said it herself before, yet still chooses to do it. 🥴
why?
So satisfying watching you put together the bassinet 😍
I LOVED having the halo with my second boy! I didn’t have it with my first and it was a game changer especially having a high bed as well. And when nursing he was close and convenient and it made getting up at night multiple times a BREEZE.
