    I've been in sales for over 20 years. These sales talks and stories are more show than anything. It never helps people sell more product.
    How to make people better salesman. Teach them how to ask discovery questions and listen to the customer.
    The rest is just for show. Like Grant Cardones entire schlick. He's a great marketer but a bad sales person

    • @ScubaSteveSpray
      @ScubaSteveSpray  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you done any of the programs or just a spectator? If you only spectate then of course your viewpoint is that it's fluff. If you tried the training you may find out that there's ways to help you help more customers.

      @@ScubaSteveSpray Real quick, you can't say with a straight face that Grant Cardone is a great salesman. That's a laughable statement. He's good at marketing, not selling. Check out his interview with Jordan Belfort, an actual great salesman. It's very telling.
      I've been part of both presenting and sitting in on these types of sales training.
      They all go the same way, tell personal stories, be funny and reiterate what sales people already know.
      People listen to these and go back to selling the same exact way they did before.
      Selling is based on asking discovery questions so you know what the customer is looking for. Listen to what they are looking for. Don't be afraid to ask for the sale and respond to objections. That's all a salesman can do.
      Stories, laughs, power point presentations is all a waste of time.
      Good salesman will grasp those concepts and sell. Bad ones will go do something else for a living.

    • @ScubaSteveSpray
      @ScubaSteveSpray  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maccusmc sounds like you've had some bad training James. There is none of that in what we do. You still haven't done anything from Grant so if you have 0% experience with something, how can you have an opinion on it? ps - Jordan Belfort has 1% net worth of Grant Cardone or likely less. If sales = money, how do you fit them in the same conversation? That's funny. With a straight face I can say you're dreaming 🤣

    • @maccusmc
      @maccusmc 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ScubaSteveSpray it's wipe quite humorous that you're doubling down on Grant being a good salesman when he's well known for how terrible he is at it.
      If you don't understand the difference between being good at marketing and raising money vs being good at selling then you have no business training others.

      Hey Sam, yea for sure. I work directly with several of the stores and I would highly recommend getting some of Grant Cardone's phone training and then working the phones at the store. It's a HUGE gap in the furniture business. Something other industries have taken advantage of and I don't know of many furniture stores that have sales people who operate more like an "inside sales" person rather than an order taker to people who walk in. I think you could reach the #1 sales person in that store pretty quickly by implementing just a few things we teach at CardoneUniversity.com. Best of luck to you. Let me know if I can ever help you out!

    • @ScubaSteveSpray
      @ScubaSteveSpray  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My personal thoughts are to look at the company. Are there people winning there? If so, then model that person until you pass them. There's great auto dealerships and there's great furniture stores. There's a shortage of hustler sales people so that leaves a gap that you can fill! I know people in both industries making money.

    Hey Steve - I'm on the Uncle G team for awhile and remember when he went to Tampa to meet with the Ashley CEO. My business is 5X (MM$+) because of Uncle G and wanted to shop Ashley thinking they would be on their game and hip to the process, energy, etc. I did pick up some pieces but the sales process was nothing close to what G would accept, and this store did not even know his name (Franklin, TN store). Get them on the program man! Fun shopping now and analyzing sales people and companies and thinking "Uncle G would be so disappointed " and knowing that you can help the average sales person 3x there income in one year.

    • @ScubaSteveSpray
      @ScubaSteveSpray  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Daniel, thank you for the message! I'd agree that there are a lot of stores in extreme need of Grant Cardone training. We do test groups and put Grant's training in different stores in different markets and we always blow the ones who are not out of the water. Sales increase, customer satisfaction rates go up and employee retention is much higher when everyone is winning! I've been working on the group you're referring to for a while. Can't wait to help them!! Thank you my man!

    • @danielwyka5408
      @danielwyka5408 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah man, as long as someone wants more money then they have and dedicates some regular amount of time to listening to the boss, it's impossible for them to not grow their income substantially. AND if they don't want more money then they need to listen to Grant talk about being selfish and needing more money then they think. Steve - Grant and Jarrod always are throwing out praises your way here and their on weekly videos; would love if you could come on Young Hustlers some time; and Mike Bonett (spelling?).

    • @danielwyka5408
      @danielwyka5408 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And my 2 cents on time - all sales processes needs to be cut in half in every industry. Gran'ts trained sales people can make this happen, and in turn give the customer what they want and the sales person more time to meet other potential customers. Crying kids, credit apps, missing lunch, getting home for the game, etc something is always on all of our minds. Fake small talk is also so frustrating. Make it quick! #grantrant Keep up the good work Steve
