@@FeelingPeculiar My comment was to the original comment. You don't know someone is making bank because they're smiling. You know it from their commission checks.
Great video. I have being selling for years. The key is to being able to relate to your customer and never talk down to them. Treat the customer as how you would be wanted to be treated. I also ask opened ended questions and I always thank the customer for their time on the phone. Another key is to connect with your customer. Ask them about their day, show interest. I have made a lot of calls as a customer and the amount of sales people who show no interest to (me as the customer is amazing)
I counted about 20 people in that room. If they made 2K calls, that means each salesperson talked to at least 100 that day alone. I worked in customer service for Bell and Verizon, I averaged about 60 to 70 calls and my conversion rate was about 20% on good days and 5% on bad days. Looking back now, I know I could have done better. I could have also chosen a product that yielded greater rewards and that would have served as a great incentive. I guess all I'm trying to say is STEP YOUR GAME UP! Use fear as energy to fuel your ambitions and take you beyond your imagination. Good luck, cheers!
31:39 - You know which sales people would appreciate this? Sales people who sell products with low margin and high lead times. The fact that you can just give away a product in an instant to keep the sales process going is super liberating.
the thing I love about this video is how Grant trains his staff - and then lets us know about all the great products he offers. This was a great video. Genius of marketing
Grant is the real deal. He pushes, but knows when to give, give and give some more in order to keep the lines of communication open. He cares about his brand so much that he doesn't want his sales team creating a couple thousand negative interactions a day multiplied over time that will inevitably tarnish his ability to scale worldwide. Very smart to think this way and protect what he has worked so hard to build. Once the reputation is destroyed, it's over.
The better half gets on me for listening to Grant all the time. I don't wanna say she isn't 10x life she is doing very well with her business. Its more the fact that I really do listen to Grant all the time. See ya at 10X Growthstock 2019!
Lol "you can't get the club and beat the baby seal up." - Grant Cardone. He's right, you always have to agree with the lead... I am not even a salesman but just an enthusiast and yet, found this video extremely educational, well on points and purposes. It definitely strengthened my resolves to become a successful salesman in the near future. This also - indeed, is highly generous act of Mr. Cordone. Thank you so very much for sharing this invaluable knowledge with us kind Sir.
This is freakin GOLD. If every company leader would do this..companies would not go under. Keeping the finger on the pulse! Emergency sales meeting! So much respect for Grant Cardone!
Thank You, everyone on TH-cam for your time and expert advice. My door-to-door sales will include physical products, like soap and books. What they see is what they get. Use the ring cameras to your advantage with signs - showing products and or services at the door before prospects answer. Look for unwelcoming signs to stay away from and always wear a mask around your chin. Be ready to put it on out of respect for homeowners/prospects. We must adapt to the new ways of the world.
Watching this behind-the-scenes video of GC strengthening his team by improving the degree of professionalism is practically a seminar. Plus GC's candid descriptions of his own real life sales cycles that didn't fly adds a lot of value to the information shared, since it stems from years of doing what he now does best: selling!
23:00 i think the exact same way when a deal feels to easy.. still pursue it like any other.. but i immediately start thinking bad credit or if they can get an approval or some other angle they are pursuing that does not put money in my wallet
The GC wants a coachable sales team. The guys I see working there are chumps but kudos to Cardone for engaging his team. That’s leadership. I wish I had that opportunity 20 yrs ago. But nothing teaches u better than drive, belief in yourself and embrace those rejections.

Grant... this video was simply outstanding! Thanks so much for sharing the valuable content. You are always paying it forward. This is invaluable to say the least. Keep working on your pipeline people. Stay creative and know that only 2% of the people you talk to on the first contact will close at that moment. Uncle G. your negotiation advice really helped me out .....I not only negotited the price from 72k to 63.5k(rent) and on top of that I made him decrese yearly increment to 5% rather 10% every year(its a 10 year lease)......my dad was like is that even possible legally......😀😀

Grant you need a real manager like me..A person who understands things from ALL sides, angles. And this content is sucking me in to wanting to help you guys so much. a true engineer mindset with a personable attitude. I'll be in touch.
Thanks for letting us in on this. How are you filling up your sales pipeline, Grant? I close more than half of my sales on the first call. I really wish I could generate more leads and get prospects with deeper pockets on the phone. My weakness and major problem is lack of attention like you mentioned in 10X.
You my friend I will study. Got an interview to become a sales person. New to the industry. I know it’s an uphill grind. But it’s one I’m willing and eager to learn and become prolific sales person
