It does! Been out and about trying to pay things separately to get that extra big of change from notes . I don't have a mega stash to do bank runs 🤣 hence why I only have 2 😔
I started growing my collection recently as my dad got me into it and I really enjoy collection, I have no rare/special edition £2 coins, I only have 50ps which so far my favourites are the Paddington bear one and Benjamin bunny and tittlemouse. But out of the £2s, my favourite one is, The Great Fire of London one! Also, really nice collection btw
Definitely helps, good to know how much all the coins are worth. Though I do think the Wales commonwealth should cost the most but I'm biased 😄 🏴 which is also the rarest coin I have.
I still think the 2016n Britannia is worth more than face value. I think around £3. I think these are the most beautiful of all the £2 coins issued so far.
Don't currently have any £2 coins 😳 I was inspired by yourself and a couple of other guys to get started in collecting & have only been doing 50p's so far - here's hoping I'll start on the £2's soon
i started growinf my collection when i found the library 50p behind a busy in 2017 and so far i have loads of 2 pounds and 50 p's and my rarest 2 pound is the golden guenney
Basically I used to collect £2 coins and I had two coins but I can’t remember which one is better and I got rid of them but now I am collecting again and I have 0 coins so it would really help me out if I won
The rarest £2 coins I had were the King James Bible and underground. I had to cash my collection in a few months ago though so starting again. I have your album ready and your videos are really informative
I think my rarest £2 coin I'd say is Rugby World Cup 2 pound coin lol. I only have like 9 £2 coins, I mostly focus on 50p coins for now but hoping to when I've completed 50p coins
Thanks this helped, I don’t know anything about them. I have 5+ of nearly all rare denominations, there’s one or two I only have one of. My late Gran collected and used to ask shops for them for the last 20 years. Would never sell them though, probably give them my daughter.
Great vid, mate. Very useful. Be interesting to see this type of vid this time next year to compare values. I see so many Army Centenary's I'm beginning to think it's not even worth £2! 😂
still got a few commonwealth england from buying from your site in 2020. i managed to pick up a fairly good few sets while away in cornwall earlier this year. I'm starting to get back into numismatics more now so i should be around a bit more.
With no £2 coins being released for so long we don't really take as much notice of the price as we do the mintage figures of them. We should really though. Enjoyed a different format of video Elliot.. Very intereresting and Important to say that all the prices Elliot has advised are for the Circulation coins. 🙂 Well done Elliott 👍🙂
Thanks for the update 👍 I have all the £2 coins and quite a few bunc’s only missing a couple now I just wish some of the new ones including the 50p’s would be released into circulation it is killing off the hobby sadly
The rarest £2 coins are the Hercules set 1997-2000 which will set you back £3000+. Also there is Tosha cat which is worth on average £300. The claim of rights 1989 is the actual rarest £2 coin with a total mintage of 381.800 which will set u back about £30. Good watch by the way, I buy and sell too 👍🏻
Hi, I follow your tiktok and watch a lot of your lives!!! My rarest £2 coin is most likely my 2009 Charles Darwin coin. I have recently got into collecting coins and I saw that you are giving away the Shakespeare set as a giveaway and I haven’t managed to find any of those so I’d be great to get them!!! Doing great!!! :)
Got 27 coins now but after watching this video found that none of my current £2 are of much rarity or worth :( my most valuable £2 is the Commonwealth England (£11 value) but the rest are face value. Just found a £2 St Paul's Cathedral coin from my barbershop today. It has a mintage error with the dots on the back. Wondered if you could let me know if that gives it some worth? Cheers for the informative video.
I have just started collecting coins and then would be great for my collection my rarest at the moment is Charles dickens but I a couple 50ps aswell I would love the 3 set of Shakespeare set pls pls
Mine are face value ie. Shakespeare skull Florence nightingale 1807 which I don't mind as never collected with the interest of making money on them. Very interesting video though 👌 sjh85 :)
I would say if people are doing date runs of their £2’s then it’s worth looking out for a decent condition 1999 as it never went into a set and good examples are hard to come by so will pay a premium for it. Good video Elijah Great stuff UKCH 🇬🇧👍🏻
@@freddieparrydrums the 1999 Technology is the one to look out for. The Rugby with 999 isn’t classed as an error it’s just a weak strike and is quite common just like the 2005 GunPower plot coin that says Pemember instead of remember Hope this is helpful Freddie 👍🏻
@@smiffy7890 Ahhh thank you man, I'm quite new to collecting coins to be honest 😂 It's a shame it's not an error, I thought maybe it'd be worth something 😂 cheers 👍
Let me know if this helped!!
I absolutely agree with every one of Yr evaluations

Yep, I agree with your valuations. £200 for a complete album is interesting, I’d never stopped to actually add a set up before.
Fyi, that vinyl page housing the coins contain pvc.Kindly remove the coins and put them in a safe(mylar) holder to protect your coins.
My albums don’t contain Pvc, they are perfectly safe.
my rarest £2 is the 1999 rugby coin. I’ve only just started collecting form watching your tiktok i’m hoping to get more!
Could you give me any information on a 2015 technology coin with an effigy
I find a lot of RN's and a few 2015 Britannia. Do you think the mintage figure could change?
Definitely helps, good to know how much all the coins are worth. Though I do think the Wales commonwealth should cost the most but I'm biased 😄 🏴 which is also the rarest coin I have.
I have a 1996 euro championship £2. What would the value be for this?

Hi
I got an Isle of Man Hunt the Wren last week on my bus.
Looks very shiny as well.
What's the deal with all the 2016s still being released as new?

they'll be penny stocks in the numismatics market. quite good for long term investing.

I am still on the lookout for 11 £2 coins to add to my collection! I would say however my rarest £2 I have found is the King James Bible
The rarest £2 coin I have in my collection is the William Shakespeare tragedies with FOR KING AND COUNTRY on the outer

If people find old Hercules coins in their change then they need to get a lottery ticket. What a find that would be 😁

Was 2016 the last time a £2 picture coin was produced?
Not the last time a picture was produced as we get a few new £2 every year but only Bunc. 2016 was the last time a £2 was circulated.
Got a fair few to find
How much would a tragedies error be worth?
