I found a Britannia £2 coin. It looks pretty normal in front, but when you turn the coin, the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is upside down. Now maybe you'll think I rotated the silver part and the gold part of the coin to make it appear upside down. But I did nothing of a kind. Plus if you look at the trident the lady was holding, its aligned to the gold part of the coin. My question is, how much do you think this coin is worth?
Hi Lafta I have every QEll £2 coin minted at least three time 3 times including every edge inscription the right way up and up side down, not trying to show off but I am proud of them, I also have a lot of spares and a unique anti slavery £2 confirmed by the mint in a letter . No they definitely aren’t distributed evenly. Navy Centenary is really tough to find in Scotland. Where as the Sherlock 50p is abundant in Scotland and the Sugragettes is everywhere in Northern Ireland.
Thought so. Good excuse to travel round our wonderful country and take in the sights. Pay shops in cash and see what I get. I'll let you know what I get. 2024 will be interesting for this numismatist lol

I just don’t understand how they can be £2, surely if normal £2 with no design is £2, how can anything with a cool design still be £2. How can a mintage of 10m and 4m still be worth the same. I know recent eBay spellings but the idea they are all face value really doesn’t make sense to me at all

Hi lafta the writing on the inner rim commonwealth the E is almost a full square with a slight slice out of the upper left on the Games the E is simular but with a line on where the bottom of the E should be my other coins are fully legable It appears on the England coin my other England ones are circulated but side by side a huge differance : I ask your advice because of you knoweldge and you may have one you haven't spotted 👍

The car one will be the Isle of Man Classic Rally. Probably a 1998 dated one. Worth a few quid but nothing amazing unfortunately, though it is a cool coin!!

Crazy how some coins are worth more but have higher minted numbers like the golden Guinea it’s less than 3 million minted but only face value I like that design and I think (dumb Americans opinion) it will be worth keeping and the value will rise to 4pounds before the years over because of the low mintage. You can still find everything, no matter where you are, it can just be more difficult.

I think that the Welsh commonwealth 2 pound coin is way under valued , should be at least £28 , imo.
