No the silver 2p is actually real silver , they made silver 2ps in about 2011 for about 12.99

Hello, I was checking a 2016 pound coin that I have for the 2017 date on the back, which it does NOT have. However, I did notice a dot after the 'p' in 'pound'. Is this rare? Could you tell me how much it is worth please? Thank you.

We don't buy coins sadly, however they are mainly face value coins so a bank will swap them for £1 each
