All you can do is try to dodge as much as possible, and then also watch out for his clothesline spin moves by just ducking. What I hate is sometimes he delays it in order to keep you off guard, so you just have to be ready when h's about to get you.

If you keep the UP button pressed you'll be able to block high punches (not uppercuts). If you don't press any button, your character will automatically block body blows. For example, at 5:38 the uploader could've block those body blows by doing absolutely nothing, instead of dodging them.

Compared to the Minor and Major Circuits, the World Circuit in this game is a big step up in difficulty.
