Does a vet think that Adequan injections would help? Adequan is used on dogs and horses with arthritis. Maybe it would help Lucy. Just a thought.

We had a mini black & tan named Frank. We seemed to loose him every Sunday when we visited our weekend property. Then he would wander back home just before sunset. We lived through his world. He broke his back just before his 4th birthday. Crated him for 2 months. Back healed. He lived for 15.5 years.

I know you have probably already thought of this, but it is possible Lucy has a piece of broken stick in that puncture wound. It looks like whatever it was went in fairly deep. Good job with Earl. Gemma is going to be Gemma. I’m sure she thinks the world revolves around her. Love how you take care of all your animals. Keep the videos coming. Love to all❤️
Im hoping Daniel is able to clean the area and check for any debris. Avoiding an abscess & to heal faster.

Charlie has really grown and feathers are coming in so beautifully.
Jemma is definitely a typical mini Dachshund. I am lucky my current one, Osgar, is trainable. He doesn't bark. Goes to bathroom on command. Lays down and stays when I need him too. Earl will learn. He for sure wants to please you. Still tickles me that he chose you as his human when DeeJay is the one that got him as "her" dog.
I can’t even imagine how hard it was to get all those orders out… and now the upcoming shipment of the CMR shirts…. Wow!! Glad your not pushing as hard between now and the end of the year. Maybe then the merch building will be closer to ready! ♥️🙏♥️🙏♥️

I had a miniature dachshund with the identical look of Gemma. Her name was Wolfie and I was her chosen person. She had a definite mind of her own, preferred outdoor life and followed me everywhere. She lived to be 13 yrs old.

Yahoo Emma!! Livin' the Life-- Should be a tee shirt. Hair blowin' in the wind, perched on her hind legs. Earl looked confused but he'll get it- but not happy being left behind. Felt so sad with him. Good Lucy is doing better and hope it continues. Hard to doctor farm animals-just pray they heal right. Building looks good. Can hardly wait for a full tour of the lay out after you all get it decorated right before the doors open for business. How exciting!!

In light of Lucy’s injury, you might think about cleaning up the down trees and limbs in the pasture, at night if they get panicked they can hurt themselves by running into them. Had a friends horse impale himself by a downed tree that had been there for years. Something at night spooked him, unfortunately she was never able to ride him again.
True that limbs fall like leaves 🍁
We have maple trees........they shed branches like all year round.

I love lucy!! Hope shes well soon. My dog Apollo pull his back right side leg muscle too. He laid around a couple days. I have joint/health tablets i give him. He's back to his old self jumping and playing .
