    Another great video! A quick tip for getting wipers up without going into MMI. Turn vehicle on then off (you don’t need to start engine), then pull wiper stalk down, wipers should go up to the service position. Once up in the service position you will be able to move wipers. When done, you can move them down to off position or leave in service position and they will return to off position once you start moving above 5-10 mph. Looking forward to next video!

    • @RADGarage

    I am so sorry that I missed this premiere. I was in my garage and applying some shine in the engine compartment and on the black trim on my car. I did a wash this morning and it is relaxing and satisfying. I can only agree to that. We still have some snow and ice even if the spring is showing some signs. That means that the roads are wet and dirty with all the remains from the winter treatment. So the car will be dirty again during the week when I drive to and from work. But tomorrow I will have the shiniest car. So first a satisfying wash. Then some satisfying attention to details in my garage. And now this satisfying video. I hope you and your family stays healthy in theese strange times.

    Hey man, I love the channel and all your well-produced detailing videos. I had a couple questions for you that I hope you'll take a moment to answer: 1) Did you have a drain installed in your garage floor to deal with all the water runoff from your detailing activities? and 2) Do you notice you get a lot of condensation buildup overnight after a wash in the garage due to the moisture inside and the temperature differentials between inside and out? I do details inside my garage, and even with limited water use (cleaning wheels outside, then ONR on the car inside) I still get tons of condensation buildup inside. Curious to know how you're dealing with that. Thanks in advance, for your response, and for your continued videos. Cheers!

    • @RADGarage
      @RADGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Joshua. Thanks for your thoughtful questions and your strong interest in my channel. I do not have a drain system in my garage. Currently, water just flows out the door due to the slight pitch it has. If you watch my latest ASMR style Garage Floor Cleaning video, you will see where water goes. As for moisture, one of the rare benefits of living in such a cold/dry climate is that I never have condensation issues in the garage. That said, if I use a pressure washer, the air can get quite damp but a quick open of the big door and all is right again. Where are you located? Thanks again for the questions.

    • @joshuaalbright
      @joshuaalbright 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RADGarage Thanks for the reply sir! I live int he Pacific Northwest (Greater Seattle area) so moisture in the air is all too common. Thanks for sharing some of the details of your setup - it's an inspiration! Happy detailing sir!

    • @RADGarage
      @RADGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Rick !
    Always good to see your wonderful garage and your SQ5 as well !
    Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to perform a nice maintenance wash since it is forbidden to do it in the French streets although soaps and quite all car cleaning products are respectful and biodegradable.
    Anyway, I did a full interior cleaning and cleaned carpets and floor mats of my beloved Audi A5 Fleuret silver grey which was fully detailed by a friend of mine two weeks ago.
    Please be safe.
    Looking forward to watching new videos from you.

    Yay, complimentary salt coating! I am not a fan of the video format / style, and I mute the music, but I still watch due to the content. I admire your garage. So cool to wash inside. Check out bilt-hamber Atom-Mac spray solution to inhibit rust - for example brakes getting rusty after a wash. I also spray some on the front radiator during winter just for good measure. Cheers, man.

    • @RADGarage
      @RADGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the comment. It is nice that you were able to enjoy it regardless of our different stylistic tastes. I have a rust inhibitor that is supposed to prevent rotors from rusting up during washes, but it doesn't work too well. My goal is to do a garage clean up video this week. It won't be so musical! Take care and thanks for viewing.

    • @RADGarage
      @RADGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not bad. I have been applying "Ceramic Boost" regularly but I still feel like it is breaking down. The foam used to slide right off, but it is adhering pretty well. To me, that's a sign it is losing its hydrophobic properties. That said, my car has taken a complete hammering all winter long. It has been clean for 1% of the time. The rest of the time it has been caked with salt and dirt.

      Awesome! My favourite wash mitt is the Merino Wool one by CarPro. It is featured in pretty much every wash video of mine. The link is in the description. Thanks for being a viewer. 🤘

      Didn't do the interior this time. I did it a couple of weeks ago and it is still looking pretty good.

      That is actually just liquid Wheel & Tire cleaner that is being applied with a continuous sprayer from IK. When I "pumped" it up, it obviously infused some air into the mixture. It wasn't intended, but I kinda like it.

    I hear you Rick...likewise. BTW, watching the before shots, it's as if someone spray painted your car with mud and salt as soon as you leave your garage. Chill!

    It’s always sad when the inside of the wheels gets so dirty in the first 5 minutes of driving after putting all that effort into cleaning them 😢. Soothing video though.... tranquil music...... water flowing over the ceramic coating 😇

      RAD GARAGE that’s exactly how I feel too. Just yesterday I performed a full iron decontamination of my car. The car has been coated for a good 6 months and seen a bunch of dirt dust and salt from air near beaches.. so I used Gyeon Iron all over the windows and paintwork.. and wow it rejuvenated the coating as well as using car pro reset to shampoo the car. Most of the iron bleeding was on the back of the hatchback, that’s where the exhaust fumes and dust hit the paintwork the most... the coating is Immaculate and beading the same since day 1. Gloss levels are phenomenal once I apply chemical guys carbon vitalise spray sealant or Gyeon Cure silica spray sealant,... I’ve got Gyeon Pure ceramic coating on my MK7 R. Can’t fault it. Giving it a weekly or two weekly wash the way I do keeps it as beautiful as it is today
