I knew i was sinking into a manga collecting addiction when I bought the first Bleach box set because it was $50 off even though I didn't even like the series
Brooo 2nd thing is so trueee I planned on buying only Kaiju no 8 and here I am.. more than 100 volumes in with 3 box sets, all of SakaDays, JJk and a lot others
They always say when you first started a mortgage collection always start with the ongoing manga series is not a big manga series like one piece cause there’s a lot of volumes in the manga series so I started collecting ongoing one’s that have recently started I have left till like 5 to 9 or 13 volumes
Oh no, I’ve had a few volumes of manga from my favourite anime here and there, and I just brought the complete set of beastars, it’ll be my first full set 😭
best way to save money is to learn Japanese and buy the original volumes, managed to find the entire one piece collection 1-107 at the time for about 15,000 yen, which is about $150AUD or probably less than 100USD and only cost me about 9000 yen to ship it to Australia. I have almost 500 manga volumes and I'm sure I've spent less than $1,000 on my entire collection
Yeah lol they do, very thin and flimsy. Look if anything you could probably find the 4th box set quick. Besides that I feel like one piece will start upping production just because they’re crossing another milestone but there is a huge paper shortage that was affecting manga recently. Idk if they’ve recovered from that

I also can't wait for the anime cause man blue box is so good. I could go on a rant but I don't wanna right a whole entire essay
I was about to buy the demon slayer full box set but after him stating that it’s not worth it I’m def questioning my life choices so now it’s just making me more confused 😭
I personally think that beastars is my favorite anime so i decided to collect the manga eventhough it makes me stand out as a furry. and just because of this reason I was debating getting demon slayer just to fit in because it was really popular but good thing i didnt. Please follow tip #9 and buy manga for the anime that you like, not the anime that other people like!!!!

I'm tryna decide if I should get the one piece omnibuses or the box sets
I don’t like omnibus personally, I just don’t like how they look in a collection. I think with the right deals the box sets would be the way to go
If you want to own the series now, go the omnibus route but if you can wait a year then go to box set route
