    You have very pretty thick hair like me. It takes forever for my hair to dry. I have started using a product called the hair drying headband by dryhairday. You put it on after you apply your conditioner and it locks in the conditioner to prevent tangles and improves the quality of your hair.

    Your curls are really beautiful. My sister is also having curly hair and she uses Curlvana products as these are best suited for zero frizz. The Deep Nourish Hair Mask is specifically created for ultra dry and dull hair which helps to moisturize the curls and transform them into soft, bouncy and perfect ringlets.

Most of the videos I see is made by people with extremely curly hair, so they can just put them in braids, but I haven’t found one made by a creator with loose curls or waves like yours it would be very helpful 😊 and keep up the good work 🙌

    1. Can wavy hair feel silky like straight hair if you follow the wavy hair routine?
    2. If I have followed a wavy hair routine today and I want to shampoo my hair tomorrow can I apply a pre shampoo hair mask/diy water/oil on the hair with wavy hair products on it or would I have to cleanse my hair first?
    3. Does wavy hair after applying leave in cream and gel always have to feel crunchy n hard or can they feel soft to touch too?

    Very few questions as a beginner and i struggle with these things
    1- is it essential to use a leave in conditioner and a curl cream, can i use one at a time?
    2- do u detangle hair in the same way like upside down? I find it difficult to detangle this way and if i detangle with straight head up position my acne get more irritated due to being wet/damp for longer period of time
    3- how to u deal with water dripping on shirt after styling(as styling is supposed to be done on wet hair?
    I Don't wet detangle regularly but if i do it gets so hectic with all this wet stuff

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      1- No you dont need to use both..
      2- Yes, you can detangle upside down and continue to style them in that way...

    • @curlywavynidhi

    @user-ob1zq1gh2z 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    As my hair is long and curly wanted to start this routine but I have a doubt can we detangle our hair daily after styling our curls cause my hair attracts more tangles if I haven’t combed it for one day.will I loose my curls after combing

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, unfortunately yes, you will end up with frizzy hair when you comb combing your defined curls is basically separating them and the separated curl is frizz. I understand. When you do not comb your hair for multiple days, it will be way more Tangled. But if you use a really nice slippery conditioner right after you're done with your shampoo in the shower and try and detangle the wet hair gently, it's going to be super easy. It can take a while to get used to not combing your hair on a daily basis, but trust me, it's totally worth it ❤️

  • @lekhanamacharla3743
    @lekhanamacharla3743 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Also, i have a doubt;
    Do we need to use a leave in if we deep condition?
    Coz, I've noticed that my hair does form waves and curls, but they're kinda smoothened out, I notice this when i use leave in and deep condition together; so, is it due to product overload??

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      100% possible. This is why experimenting helps because everyone's hair responds differently to products.Your hair properly is not enjoying all of this extra moisture from both mask and leave in conditioner. So feel free to skip the leave in conditioner. This is a perfect find from your end. Amazing work!!

  • @laila_123
    @laila_123 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi sis! Do we need both leave in and curl cream....why you use both of them?

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Why leave in conditioner: I wash my hair once a week and skipping it dries out my hair in 3-4 days..
      Why Cream: Curl hair just curls without much help. As my hair is wavy it needs some help. When I dont use a cream it just too stringy and juicy enough.
      So I use a little bit of both. Some leave in conditioners or creams can act as as both. For example, when I use Ashba botanics leave in conditioner I dont need a cream, when I use fixmycurl curl quesnching butter (cream) I dont need a leave in. So just experiment with what you have. You dont need both. ❤

    And as a beginner myself looking for products and a simple basic routine to define and enhance my wavess as i have thick, long and heavy 2c wavy hair which are really difficult to co-ope with so i have some questions..
    1. Could i use a simple routine in this sequence- oiling with coconut oil (keeping it for 30 mins) >shampooing>conditioning>hair mask(optional)>leave in conditioner or cream what's more beneficial?(like what'll give me the best results?)then a mousse> a gel> diffuser>oil(coconut).. Like will it define my waves? not exactly but yeah similarly? should i add anything else? and as a school going girl i obviously can't keep them open the entire time so with a single braid would it affect my waves in any possible way?if so, could you suggest me some methods to maintain it? and how should i not comb while braiding?(for school) I would be really grateful if you could help me out in this🫶🏻💗

    Hey! I live in Germany and I discovered just a few months before coming here that I have wavy/curly hair. I never had hairfall problem in my life but since I have been living here which is past 2 years, I have 1/3rd amount of hair on my scalp. I go back to India even for a month and my hair growth is perfect and I come back here it's all gone in two weeks. Which is why putting products in my hair is also worrying me. I know you're not a certified doctor but do you have any idea what can I do to not lose that much hair

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can think of two reasons for the hairfall, Hard water and vitamin D deficiency. You can fit hard water filter for your shower and try to use drinking water to completely wash your hair or use it as a last rinse to get rid of the hard water. And for vitamin D, get your levels checked and take supplements. ❤️

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Look, unless you're applying straight bleach on your scalp, or you are severly ill, your hair cannot start coming out. And I'm pretty sure when you say your hair starts coming out, you mean 10-15 strands in your palms. That's not hair fall. That doesn't mean your hair is coming out. It just means that there was fallen hair that was stuck in your hair and when you started using a product, because of the slip, it slipped out, and if you hadn't, it would have slipped out during the day.
      Don't be scared, go ahead and use that product, it's good for your hair strands. Just don't apply to your scalp.
      😃

    Hey Nidhi, thanks for such an informative and a guiding video. I have some questions. I'd really appreciate if you can clarify:
    1. When should a serum be used in this process? My dermatologist advised against using wash-off conditioner, instead use leave-in or serum. I still feel the lacklustre texture.
    2. Can you let me know what product you're using at 9:28?
    3. What do you mean by removing the gel cast at the end of the video? Do you wash it off? Pardon my ignorance.
    Thanks again

    • @May-qb3vx
      @May-qb3vx 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can answer some of this. She’s just using more of the Innersense gel at 9:28. When she says breaking the cast, that means that she is waiting for the crunchy feeling gels leave when they are completely dry. Then you take a light oil and rub it in your hands and then you just start scrunching just like you did when applying the curl cream to soaking wet hair. It breaks that crunchiness and leaves your hair softer. This can also be referred to as “scrunching out the crunch.”

      Coming to the first point, I dont know how to say this, but wash off conditioners and hair masks are amazing. Dermatologists dont know much about curly/frizzy hair as there was never enough research done on it to provide solutions that translated easily to regular crowd. So use that conditioner, just dont apply it to your scalp 🤪

      Yes for sure. But you can use just a gel or a leave in + mousse instead so that it doesnt weigh down your hair

    How about refreshing the curls without using any of the products but just some drinking water? Would you try it? 😊

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hey, yes, I used to do this. But what happens is when you have not applied a lot of product on your hair, using just water moves that product away from certain areas. And even though you refreshed your hair, your hair will end up looking slightly frizzier at the end Of refresh. because most of these areas just lost some of that Product. But instead, when you use a very diluted form of product, you're not moving around too much and you're also depositing a very little amount. That, I would say is much better than just water refreshes.

    My frizzy hair don’t absorb products that much… what to do??

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's because when you apply the product, your hair is not wet enough.There is a section in the video where I explain what wet hair is. Rewatch the video and make sure the next time you apply the product you wet your hair a lot and also you emulsify the product before you apply it. Also, can you tell me which product you're using?🌼

    Is diffusing essential?

    • @curlywavynidhi
      @curlywavynidhi  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No, it's not 100% essential. It dries your hair faster and it's good to dry your hair faster because when you leave your hair wet for a long time, even that can cause damage. Just like when you leave your skin wet for a long time, it starts folding, you know. And as hair is that it cannot repair yourself the way skin can repair itself after being wet for too long.

    I have spent at least 2-3 years learning the curly girl method and this was a very basic video. I appreciate the effort that went into it and you are a fun narrator but I can't help but think, this didn't do anything for me. 😂
    Some things that I have figured out through doing this 100s of times:
    -you can style your hair normally too, don't have to bend down. It doesn't make that big of a difference.
    -Always comb your hair after applying a product. It helps distribute the product really well.
    -i know a lot of people disagree with this but I don't start styling my hair until all products are in. Since you end up combing multiple times, it's better to wet hair, apply product and comb out. Wet hair one last time before styling.
    -about definition on the crown level: to get definition here you should flip your hair left and right when it is drying. This will create some definition in the crown area. You can also use clips to puff your hair a little and take it out when it's dry.
    Here, 5 added tips for people who are struggling!
