Such a good basic guide to start with. One thing I wish I knew/understood is that I don’t need to do my hair every day. When starting out I felt a lot of pressure to ‘have’ to do my hair every day and that ruined the fun/enjoyment for me.
18 months in and I know how to do my hair well and will do it most of the time but sometimes I will just shove some leave in and leave it alone to dry with no pressure on how it comes out.

Hi! I just wanted to say a huge thank you!!! I've wanted to bring my natural waves/curls back for about 2 years but all the videos I'd been watching were over complicated and stupidly expensive! This weekend I came across your video (this one) and it was the only one that hasn't made me feel stupid! I've since then bought my first load of curly hair products and this afternoon took the dive into the waves! (sorry for the bad pun) its come out better than I could have hoped. Got a long way to go as you know but I wanted to thank you for helping. I've since watched a lot more of your videos and they've helped me so much. Thank you again! You're amazing! 💜

This guide was super easy to do! And my curls came out soo well after one try with this method! I've never seen my hair this curly, I've always been told it was just wavy, but I decided to try this method, because as my hair grew out and got healthier, small areas started loosely curl. I am so grateful! I can't wait for my curls to look even better!

I just discovered my curls and I’m in love!!! It’s so much quicker than drying and straightening and the results are so nice! I get so many hair compliments! I’m definitely skipping a few steps of this routine but we can fix that! I’m an everyday washer so I have to make it as quick as possible without cheating myself from beautiful results. I’m going find a good curly shampoo/conditioner and try the leave in product before the mousse and see how it goes! Thank you for the great step by step!!! Your hair is GORGEOUS!!!

Hi, could you please share which steps do you always do? I also hate the idea of staying in the bathroom forever for styling. Personally for me, I do sulfate-free shampoo, silicone-free conditioner and then for styling I just scrunch up lubricant (it is water-based and no alcohol) thoroughly into soaky wet hair and let it air dry. This method always works for me quite well unless I do it right before sleeping so that the hair does not have time to dry

my hair feels greasy if I let it air dry. also I get a headache if I dont dry my hair immediately. another issue is I have no idea how to style my hair after applying this method and going to bed at the end of that day. My hair looks crazy in the morning. am I supposed to this every single day? if i tie my hair at night it immediatly takes the shape of the updo and looks even weirder when I untie my hair
