It’s what I appreciate about you Glenda, it’s how you acknowledge your subscribers in writing a reply to their comments. And I do understand that when it gets busy it’s very difficult to comment to all, but at least you comment. Some channels do not comment to what subscribers have gone to the trouble of watching their videos and commenting.

First the PO Box, is for companies to send products mostly, but if someone else sends something that's great, and YT pays very little, and I've only ever received 1 donation from Paypal, no one forces anyone to donate so someone that complains obviously doesn't understand how all this works at all...don't change anything literally everyone does it as far as I'm aware...if someone donates it means they truly appreciate what you did for them, and are showing their appreciation and that is just fine...great Christmas Cards and such... have an amazing day...

I agree with you. I have a youtube channel and its just for fun. Info about me and my upcoming retirement, and about my daily life. My bilateral broken ankle jouney. I did that so I could look back and see where I was in the beginning and my healing journey. Glenda is cute and funny. I think someone is jealous and needs to get over herself.
I have seen a lot of videos where subscribers of channels BEG for their favorite youtuber to get a PO Box.
I don't appreciate for anyone to tell me what to do with MY money. I have sent gifts to youtubers over the years and I have also joined some patreons. I have not regretted doing it one bit.

$600/160 hrs/month is $3.75/hr. $3/hr is 200 hrs a month. I don't ever recall you ever asking for people to send you things. and it is a free world, we as subscribers can choose to do what we want. I don't think anyone that becomes a YT creator does it just for the money, I believe its about the content. I started a Daily Devotional Reading Playlist because I couldn't find something that spoke to me.

Jeannie evidently has no idea that having a p.o. box, patreon, paypal, amazon store, etc... is the norm among YT creators. I checked and every creator I subscribe to uses the above. And? You do you Glenda and I'm happy to see your channel growing and the growth in creating that you have shown since I started watching you. Glenda I don't comment much but this is YOUR channel and you have a right to do what you wish with it. It's a great thing to see the amount of love you receive and no not just from gifts. The world needs more love and loving people like yourself. I think people complaining about what you receive from those who care for you is just plain jealousy. Why would anyone begrudge anyone from receiving something that helps them with their life? I don't get that! Please don't give into their nastiness by saying things like taking a long walk on a short bridge or the like. Wish them the best and know you were the bigger and better person. I remember the beginning when I made comments on TH-cam. It was odd for someone to "attack" what I was saying because a reply/response felt like it was a personal conversation. Thank goodness I had been on Facebook long enough to know what internet trolls are.
Next time anyone says something to you, either totally ignore it and get it out of your mind quickly (because they don't know you), or just fire back with "Go away troll!" I have gotten far more creative in my time on TH-cam, but seeing this is a family channel...I will refrain. ☺

That was an interesting email sent to you Glenda. Since you asked for feedback, I wanted to send a quick note to you. I enjoy your videos and thank you for the effort to make them. You help a lot of people and please feel good about that. My advice is that you simply delete and block that emailer. You should focus your efforts on those who wish to contribute and /or enjoy your efforts. I wouldn't spend one second thinking about someone like that. Your time is much more valuable. There will always be people out there that are negative know it all that feel the need to enlighten us with their "wisdom". But pay them no mind and move on. I actually stopped listening to this video half way through. Know that many people enjoy you. And if people want to donate, good for you. I think you deserve it. Keep up the good work. God Bless you

I was there from nearly the beginning of your channel and I remember seeing people in the comment section asking you for contact information so they could send you something...whether a card, letter, a few Benjamins or WHATEVER!!! You handled that letter just fine. Listen, I have channels I used to watch and refuse to now...and I would love to have them go away...but I live in the real world and they aren't going anywhere too soon. So...the "advice" in that letter is mute. I'd being laughing it off. If someone wants to send you something and is financially capable...that is their business and no one else's concern. I have also heard you *time and time again*, telling subscribers not to send you anything if they can't afford it...and just watching your videos is enough from them. I know that most of those people would like to send something but not everyone has the means...and you understand that.

You then in turn have blessed those you know who are having a hard time either with gifts of money, driving them to drs appointments, or by giving them encouragement, so the gifts you receive are multiplied and more people receive a blessing from that original gift. It also makes those have given to you smile when they see their gift or card in your videos because they feel appreciated and they in turn receive thank you notes from you. Being truly appreciative and saying thank you and especially taking the time to write a thank you card is dying unfortunately I'm afraid. It also costs you money in gasoline, the purchase of a card and stamps, and time and energy you spend composing the thank you in writing exactly what you want to say. So take heart my friend, you receive but you also give multiplying the blessing.

I feel like this is your channel and you can do what you want with it. And as far as patreon PayPal and stuff if someone feels in their heart that they want to send you money, gift cards, gifts, letters, cards or whatever then that's just fine. I don't understand what the big deal is. I remember people asking you to start a patreon and you hesitated but after I feel you were asked many times over time then you started one because you were asked to please start one.
That's just ridiculous of someone to send you that non sense.

Glenda, you don’t owe anybody any explanations. Just about every successful channel has Patreon or a Pay Pal account. That is the name of the game on You Tube, to make money from your ads and also to gain other sources of income from it. I think just about every successful channel I watch now has these types of accounts. If You Tube frowned on this, they wouldn’t allow channels to have these accounts. For lots of channels, this is part of their business model. Just keep making your videos. I would ignore the folks who are critical of you....it just ends up feeding the beast. Massive TH-camrs with millions of subs have PO boxes and Paterons and merch. Why do they have them?
