I only have 1 kiddo who is now 22. We are her legal guardians because she has additional needs. My thought has always been that if spending time doing something with my kiddo means dishes in the sink, so be it. She comes first. She loves to help me cook.
Being together enough to get the kids to the pool w snacks and still plan meals is a big accomplishment!! Plus you are taking care of yourself👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Personally I’ve always thought that fresh fruit and veg shouldn’t be held against you. Perhaps set a goal of “2-3 frozen fruit/veg used weekly” as that part of the pantry freezer use down. Enjoy the fresh and healthy while it’s available and reasonably priced. You are doing amazing using your freezer goods already!

Preparing food for future days to come is a very convenient way to make life less challenging when you have a large family. Congratulations for the mind set it takes to cook and freeze all that food; plus, it looks delicious after it thaws out.

I agree with you - some days it just doesn't matter what crumbs are on the floor, what clothes need folding or what dishes need washing - Mama needs to be Mama and play with the kids. They will remember that time much longer than they will how clean everything was! I cannot imagine in this day and age how much you're having to purchase at the grocery store - it's absolutely frightening just for my small household.. Keep up the great work Jamerrill...
AMEN !!! I was that person - pre child, that had to have everything looking "perfect" or else I was so stressed. Then I got married and had my son when I was 44 and my whole outlook on life changed, drastically. I will always choose playing with my son over house work every single time. He will NOT remember how tidy our house was or if my floor was scrubbed daily or weekly or monthly but he will remember the time I spent with him playing and creating and having fun.
I recommend a 6 week challenge, with lots of grace for those CRAZY days . I enjoy you so much , so have such a sweet countenance.❤from SC

You are truly glowing. I was so concerned the weight loss was due to stress (im sure that had a factor) but you are looking so so so healthy. And girl, the way you somehow have time to work out/run WHILE being the mother i pray ro become is so encouraging 🩷
No, my body holds onto weight with stress, which is why my weight had gotten so high and it was so hard to lose. Weight loss has been a slow and steady uphill battle over several years. The actual weight loss portion has just become noticeable within the past year. Some folks lose weight with stress, but my cortisol level say different lol 😂
I just wanted to say thank you. You give off such an easygoing and calming vibe that it is rubbing off on my day to day. I have found that you don't really rush, your actions are deliberate. I am like this by nature, but ever since being a sahm I have tried to emulate other online homemakers and rushed to get things done- setting 10min timers and such. Not only was it stressful, I ended up procrastinating. After watching some of your vids, I feel so much less guilt for being my true self. I am slow and like to take my time. I now don't feel so stressed about housework. I can take my time and counterintuitively have ended up being more productive. Everything is more enjoyable. Again thank you, from Korea. ❤

My son has a very limited diet, he has some major food sensitivities, I tried a dozen types of GF bread and he only likes the "Schar" bread. He likes the white but they make a multi grain as well. They make a ton of products, hot dog rolls, hamburger rolls, baguettes, crackers and he really loves the little chocolate cakes as a treat. I was over the moon happy when they recently reformulated it and removed the soy which I was delighted about. It's gluten free, wheat free, dairy free and now is also soy free. We buy ours here in Canada at walmart - they have the best prices here. Schar is the leading gluten free brand in Europe and has been in business many years. I tried a ton of GF breads and I found theirs to taste the best and had the best ingredients - for a shelf stable bread. It's also vacuumed packed helping it to stay fresh longer.
Frozen grapes are good snacks in the heat and lots of topping variety make them fun 😅

For the freezer with thebroken door shelf, a couple of the small, inexpensive tension rods from walmart will sit in the holes left by the old shelf.

I just want to take the time to say you are empowering we are a family of six and I struggle every month to figure out what we going to eat but everybody likes and enjoys how to have a variety of things how to make it Price friendly and is all those things that come with feeding the family. I have a headache now trying to figure it out. And I just had to come watch you for some inspiration because I'm over it

For bag clips I use the metal folder clips from the office supply section. They hold tight and last for years.

Temperatures being what they are, you don't want to leave your Stevia in the car. Any sweeter left in the car and 75 degree temps can cause it to turn to wood formaldehyde which can cause a lot of medical problems. I used to work for a weightless center and we had to stay on top of that stuff. So keep you a baggie you keep by your keys so you don't forget them.

Just fyi 12 Tablespoons is 3/4 cup ... figured one scoop may help with coffee prep instead of 12 little ones
Mom hack, put mayo into ranch dressing to thicken it and use for sandwiches..... great for flavor and makes it less messy, or sour cream or even Greek yogurt. 😂

Sometimes I wish I had a double fridge like yours instead of two refrigerators that have room taken up by freezers in them and another freezer instead. I don't have the space to do it that way, so until I do, that's just a dream. It sure would make seeing what I am bringing in from the garden and preparing for the canner a lot easier, though. Much bigger shelves.

I love Aldi to. We are just across the border and it is about 20 minutes to get to when we get the chance. They have a lot of different things, and very good prices. Even in American dollars. And worth a little bit more anyway if its a different treat you want. I have to get over again soon. Gosh same here on the Kale chips. Used to always make them too. I am craving them now. I think I would add parmesan cheese too fresh grated sometimes..yum. On it. Congrats on the race!! Wonderful :) Happy 7th Birthday!! sounds like it was a wonderful time. So love your prices for eggs, the cheapest I could get yesterday at the Supermarket in New Zealand was NZD$8.50 a dozen which works out to be approx $5.16USD per dozen

Canada is down to $5 a dozen but they are poor quality battery cage eggs. Farm fresh are $8

My breakfast when I was on a fairly strict diet was a grated zucchini in the frypan and 1 or 2 snack size tins of tuna flakes for breakfast as I got my health sorted I to this day have the zucchini tuna combo I just love it
The turkey sticks are the best! I had Bariatrics last year and they are my go to when I need extra protein.
