Very true (and I agree with thanking God for healthy provision) but it is not always healthy to eat too much of one fruit. Bananas are good healthy suppliers of good fibre content and of potassium. I eat a couple every day. However it is not good to eat too many per day (5 or more) nor to eat them if they are very over-ripe (basically skin is totally brown). A variety of fruit is best so I constantly have some fresh fruit prepared as a fruit cocktail which I eat most days. I should point out I am NOT a health freak or whatever, I let me weight and cholesterol go way too high and am now battling to reduce both. I have lost 16Kgs in the last few months and my cholesterol has come down from 7.6 mmols (very high) to 4.5 (high end of the normal range) and expect that to go lower as I continue healthy eating. :D
I am a Christian and give thanks to God for the availability of healthy fruit. I just want to say though that the same God (there is only one!) who created fruit also created animals for us to eat. A balanced diet of meat and vegetables is fine but it's not good to eat too much red meat for example, a meat still created by God. The thing is, God also gave us knowledge and the ability to use common sense. Not using the latter when eating is not good! :)
I assume when you say eat the whole apple, you don’t mean the seeds, since they contain amygdalin which releases cyanide into the human body. Now it is true that you need to eat a ton of them for it to be fatal, but still, why eat any?
