    Timely video. Just the other day, I read a study showing that secondary bile acids, which are produced by the degradation of bile acids produced by good gut microbes, regulate the immune system and thereby prevent chronic inflammation.
    Long story short: Bile is important in many ways!

    I had SIBO for about 6 months. That caused me to have AFIB on and off as a side affect due gas irritating my vagal nerve. Lost ablut 20 lbs during the 6 months. It was recommended that I drink green tea. Less than a week, AFIB went away. 2 weeks SIBO went away. This was over 14 years ago. Still drinking green tea today.

      Holy smokes, I'm making the connection now. I've been trying to figure out what's been going on with my gut microbiome. I was also getting Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) where my heart skips a beat and feel these ectopic beats, I always thought this was a sperate issue on it's own, I just stopped using stimulants like caffeine and nicotine which I'm sure helps. Turns out this is SIBO affecting my Vagus nerve and thus causing PVCs

      @Dr. Eric Berg DC you really inspire me, and I have watched many of your videos as well as buying your products, but your neglect in responding to all of our queries re your conflicting sibo videos really worries me. It shakes my belief in your teachings, because you don't seem willing to give a direct response to why some of your advice in this area conflicts. Noone is trying to catch you out, we genuinely only want to know what to do for the best and don't mind if you state that one video was incorrect to a degree. Every teacher is entitled to make the odd mistake. Ignoring our messages, yet continuing to reply to positive ones like this one isn't a great sign for your followers.

I’ll try it every few days once a day and up it to once a day until I get bad signs like diarrhoea or pains in my bottom right abdomen ileocecal valve (the valve between the small and large intestine). Hey there, I’m curious what’s ur thoughts on Rays Peates approach, his ways of nutrition for woman, his opposition to fasting and how fasting harms hormones especially for woman, thyroid health and how it affects our ability to lose or gain weight. The fact that human should not stay in Ketosis because Ketosis doesn’t make us lose weight but our most important gland does - thyroid. And when we heal thyroid we don’t need to torture ourselves with fasting and Ketosis . How fasting is bad for women, estrogen dominance etc . Plus how important to understand cooper and iron function in the body . And woman should donate blood constantly coz we are not deficient in iron but the opposite etc .

    I wish, when you do videos that involve anything to do with the gall bladder, that you would address the issue of those of us who no longer have one. Many people these days don't. I regret having been convinced of this as a solution, before trying a cleanse, but I did have it removed as my doctor at the time insisted that it was necessary. and when I see these videos of yours that involve the gall bladder and don't address this I just get confused. I already take essential enzymes every day with my first meal - after a 16 hr. fast most days - but I still have loose bowels, very little pain though. Supplements are expensive and these days wasting money on supplements that we don't need - just to try it out - seems so inappropriate.

      He made this video 9 months after (probably to clarify his mistake as he’s still learning daily) and had advised to take it on a empty stomach, might have to try it out on a empty stomach first thing in the morning to set me up for the day (cause it recycles) to see if it works or not for me. I’ll try it every few days once a day and up it to once a day until I get bad signs like diarrhoea or pains in my bottom right abdomen ileocecal valve (the valve between the small and large intestine). Everyone’s different so see how it works for you

    • @Lucid_Anomaly
      @Lucid_Anomaly 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Punisher for me personally it did not, it made me feel worse. But what did help me was a supliments called lypo gold for fat digestion by enzymedica, because I was having a problems digesting fats. It’s trial and error. Rifaxamin was the only thing that helped cure the Sibo in the end, multiple courses of it

    • @Lucid_Anomaly
      @Lucid_Anomaly 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Punisher I tried the natural route of berbarine and oregano oil with a nutritionist but the berbarine gave me a sugar drop and the oregano oil made me feel like I had a flu, so that’s why I gave into (I never take pharmaceuticals) takin refaxamin (it had no side effects). The digestive enzymes made me feel to acidic after a month of taking them (I don’t mean acid reflux I mean my toungue get sore if I eat to much acidic stuff), the only time I’ll take a digestive enzyme is if eating out and eating a massive variety of rich foods ie if its a party or eating a buffet, but again it’s different for everyone, usually DE help Sibo but I got my Sibo by tacking a molecular hydrogen supplement with bannana for a whole year for a pre workout and then at the end of the year I took bicarbonate soda to kill a flue which further alkaline your stomach

    I’m a bit confused- the liver makes the bile, the gallbladder is just the storage bin. So if the gallbladder is removed, the bile just goes from the liver to the small intestine. So why would there be a reason to take a bile salt supplement? The body doesn’t stop making bile just because the gallbladder is removed.

    • @jjones2582
      @jjones2582 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    This is what I understood that Salt Bile is good to take if you have Sibo Methane for constipation. The Salt bile will help flush out. But if you have Sibo Diarrhea is NOT a good idea to take Salt bile because it'll make Diarrhea worst. Salt bile is like a detergent that flushes the small intestine. This is what I understood about when to take Salt bile on the other video. Diarrhea sibo probably needs like a binder to slow it down. I'm going to try the Salt bile with my constipation. I'll come back and update if it helps or not. Words of advice. DON'T EXPECT TO HEAL IF YOU CONTINUE TO EAT GARBAGE! My Sibo came from antibiotics 😔.

      @@riotide9013 I'm dealing with a stomach ulcer and I was afraid to take it alone. So I put it I'm my smoothie and makes it taste bad. But I don't think I'm getting the benifits of it. I'm also taking a very small dose and that could be the reason why I'm not getting good results.

    Everyone should wait until migrating motor complex completes its work and then eat the next meal. This is why OMAD is famous.

    Hi Dr. Berg,
    It was mentioned in the video to take bile salts and betaine on an empty stomach. When I spoke to my doctor and pharmacist they mentioned to take with food. Can you please tell me why on an empty stomach and would they cause gastric irritation/ulcers/lesions?
    Thank you!

      I think because Bile salt is alkaline and it will negatively affect the digestion of food, as food needs acid to be digested properly. Dr. Berg mentioned it in another video.
