TULUM, MEXICO 🇲🇽 Is it WORTH the HYPE???

After two days in Cancun and Isla Mujeres, we are finally off to Tulum!
Just an easy two hour drive to the south, Tulum is rapidly becoming a place on everybody’s travel list. And, it didn’t take us long to see the types of people who visit here.
With options for accommodations ranging from treehouses to oceanfront villas, Tulum has something for everyone. You can choose to stay downtown where the accommodations are more moderately priced, however we opted for La Zebra Tulum, located on the beach.
Our first day in Tulum was mostly spent relaxing on the beach and enjoying our room before we went to dinner. Our dinner reservations were at Ilios Restaurant, a Greek taverna with a flair (and a flare…). Ilios was ranked the top restaurant online, and was endlessly advertised around our hotel. The food was great, and the fire show (yes, fire show) was worth seeing. Have a look!

Truthfully, it was without flaw. It certainly was not inexpensive, but the staff, food and surroundings are amazing. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend it.
