I found you on TH-cam and can’t believe this Last Homely House has been on here all this time, many years and right under my nose. Well here I am, here in Ohio, USA. I was born in West Berlin, West Germany though in January 1951, so I am an old timer, a widow with 2 grown daughters and a 12 year old grandson. I’m a retired nurse who loves quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet, books, cooking and flowers. I live in the country. We use to have a big garden when my husband was alive. My dad was an orchardist and kept his own bees; I kept bees for about 6 years and as you discovered, it's not easy anymore! I prefer top bar hives. You are an inspiration and I love your pavillion!

I have just found you on my Facebook feed and I came to the descion today that I would start at youtube channel about ponds. I am a watergardener and have been for over 35 years, and even though I love it, my FIRST LOVE is my craft amd miniatures and my writing comes in 2nd or 3rd. But my life changed course a year and half ago (not through my doing), and even though I have struggeld on with my old path, it has become abundetly clear that I cannot keep going down it. I need to something else that fits in with this new life I am being forced to lead, for a while anyway until the situation changes again, which it will do, I just don't know if it is months or years, so becoming Tanglemire Gardens is what it is going to be. I shall be watching what you are doing so I can learn from you as to how to present my videos. Congratulations and you seem to live in a place I would love to live. (I am in Australia)

Watched the video on your suitcase of silk thread on wooden spools, which reminds me of a friend who made little needle pointe decorations on the spools and hung them as Christmas decorations. Love your channel.❤️

We have bees in our house roof. They will just not go permanently. The roof was cleared of the honey. But every year they come back.

My dad kept bees too and I used to go up to the moors with him with hives in the back and he was also allergic to bee stings!

Hi Kate... I too must keep these old hands busy or else boredom starts. I don’t care how many unfinished projects are lying around....it’s part of our charm . Don’t worry about the hole in your stunning scarf. See if a big button or perhaps to crochet a flower over it... I’m sure you will come up with something different to cover the hole. Margy💐

@The Last Homely House Is that an Ashford Traditional spinning wheel? I have the Traveller & the Joy spinning wheels. My husband will be doing bees next year (2022). He is going to do a lot of reading to learn & prepare.
