You've gone from 400 subscribers to 46 THOUSAND in less than three years. Kate, whatever you are doing, you are doing it right! Love the quilting, the cats, the garden, the stories and your homely home.
I find it so relaxing listening to you chatting, you were so excited at the prospect of having 500 subscribers and look at you now!! 92K congratulations and long may your joy continue
Poor little Hilda. She's so lucky she got to spend the end of her life on your farm, Kate. You made the last part of her life nice, healthy, and wonderful.
Watching you is like visiting with my mom when she was living. I am now older than you. But you bring great warmth and love to me whichever of your channels I am watching and you physically, including your haircut, remind me of mom. So love watching your programs. Thanks for sharing yourself with all of us.
It’s years down the line since you made this video but it’s a classic, which, in a few minutes reflects the circle of joy and sorrow in life. Never the less a delight to watch if you need a bit of reflection.
Hello Kate! I’ve just found you, thanks to Arne & Carlos, what a joy! A friend had three rescue battery hens, which she kept in an ‘eggloo’! One would periodically escape, and take herself off to the village, where she became quite a celebrity. Once found, one of my friend’s kind neighbours would reunite her with her adoptive Mum. She was also a ‘Pussy Person’, as am I! Your video was so calming, and fascinating, and I just loved your Wimbledon knitting! That yarn is scrumptious! You have a new subscriber, and I’m really looking forward to spending more time together!
Thank you for a lovely podcast. I find them not only relaxing but helpful. Oh sorry about Hilda. Some hens have a horrible life. Thank you for helping just a few.
Wow - celebrating 400 followers - and look at the numbers now!! what a sad story about the hens - its sad enough that they had to live as egg makers for a year, but even when given a better life, they are stressed and suffer. Thanks for opening your heart and home to them.
How odd to think back as you were just hitting 400 viewers and now look at how splendidly things have gone woth things you are doing! Happy Holidays dear Kate, cats, hens, silly goose and all LHH Friends!🙏✌💞
I loved your video it's like listening to a friend your cast is gorgeous and your tennis scarf/ blanket in also gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing your time on s Sunday. Sorry for your loss too poor Hilda 🥲
Well Kate, here it is February 13, 2020 and you have 16.4 subscribers! Did you ever imagine it? Your eulogy to Hilda was touching. You have such a kind ❤️ to all your animals.
So nice that more people are getting to spend some lovely minutes each week with you via the internet! I'm glad your son was able to help with Hilda. It's sad but you gave her a lovely place for a while at the end of her short life, which is so nice of you. Glad the older kitties are getting along better and all home, and the Wimbledon yarn looks so good!
Robbie M thanks Robbie, I feel such a twit having to ask someone else to do such a horrible task, but John offered and is very quick and efficient so Hilda didn’t suffer unnecessarily. And yes, she got to live like a hen should for a little while. 😊❤️🌿
Beautiful yarn!! I can crochet (my grandmother taught me) and know the basics of knitting but can't really follow directions to make anything. A funny story...I decided to take knitting lessons some years ago. One of the students was legally blind...she would come in, her seeing eye dog would curl up under her chair, and she learned to knit better than any of the rest of us! Even a blind girl knits better than I do! I so admire, it though!!
I am so sorry to hear about Hilda. You made her short life very special by the love and care you gave her. So sad that these animals are treated and bred for nothing more than producing eggs and cat food. You are a very kind person to have given her the love that you did and all the other rescue hens. The yarn is beautiful! Thanks for another lovely video!
marilynrn711 I think more people are aware of the conditions animals are kept in for food, so there must be fewer hens like Hilda, but the charity I got her from email me every month with their newsletter asking for more and more homes. It’s sad. 🙁❤️🌿
Hi Kate, every time it's a pleasure to hear your weekly update, so sad about your chickens, but you gave them some month of freedom and a little lucky lifetime 😔! Good to know that the kittens have got new friendly homes. I love the yarn!!! Very special and beautiful colors, you spin it by yourself?! I like knitting and Crochet a babyplanket for the first daughter of my oldest son while I watched Wimbledon and my cat lizzl is right by my side 😻I love how you talk about your life, home, cats and family and wish you all the best. 💐💜415 subscribers now!!!
Hi TH-cam is suggesting lots of your older episodes for me to watch, so it was fun to her you has 400 subscribers, knowing it's now in the 55 thousands range. yesterday I started some patchwork curtains as I was watching the episode about why you put your Juki where you did.i have sun issues in my home office, and am still working from home. thanks for all your inspiring projects.
i'm rewatching this and chuckling to hear you say, at the end, "..if ever we get to 500" - oh my! as i type, you're a mere handful shy of 10K! no surprise here - you're pure joy.
Thanks for the lovely chat and updates. Sorry to hear about Hilda but, as you well know, keeping any sort of animals opens the heart to eventual loss. At least she had some extra months to be a real hen. I'm happy to hear the cats are coming back to a peaceful equilibrium. Nothing quite like living with four estranged kitters. Hope you enjoy your time with Dad (and maybe make a little tour of his garden with us). And now, I'm off to start my day. Blessings....
Sherry Faught hi Sherry, thanks for this. I had a great day with my Dad, he’s not so interested in iPad and iPhones so I tend to leave them in the car and just spend the day hanging out with him. His garden has suffered in this hot weather too and I’ve never seen his lawn looking so bad. But he has a plan to get it back in track so never fear! I’m well behind with comments, but Norma is sitting on my knee purring so I’m going to remedy that now! Take care!!! ❤️😊🌿
It’s funny to hear you say thank you for the 400 subscribers, as I look today and you have 9,966 subs. How wonderful. You are an absolute joy to spend time with. I’m catching up on all your videos. It’s Sunday, June 30. 2019. And I’ve just watched your live show. I can’t wait to catch up. Have a blessed day! I wish we could be neighbors. I’ve been dabbling with quilting for years now. I’m 56 and live in Coca Florida USA. Can’t wait to retire and get out of the rat race and just enjoy my hobbies. I too would like to try my hand at a little bit of everything. I originally saw your video about sewing a reusable bag. And when Norma crossed the screen I was delighted and just knew this would be a channel I would love. It’s been great watching the changes in your channel. I love the hens, could watch them all day. I miss gardening, the soil here is more like sand, it’s terrible. So I marvel at your garden and love the pavilion. I’m hoping not to hear bad news about Eileen. I love her. And your home is so enchanting to look at. I love all the little treasures you have in your kitchen. I hope you do a house tour. I want to know how you have a lot of your food in jars. How long do they keep? I know we would be good friends, we have a lot of the same interests. I’m sure many of your viewers feel the same way. Well back to the videos. And I’m sad to hear about Hilda, but it was a wonderful thing you did for them. Many blessings to my friend from afar. Sandra.
Kate, so sorry about Hilda, but as others have said, she had a good home with you at the end. You have enlightened me about chickens and eggs. I will be reading the label on the eggs I buy from now on. Best to you. xxx
Kate, thanks for sharing about how the kittens are doing. Sorry about the chickens, I didn't know that about them. You are so kind, that's why it's hard to discharge an animal. I can't do it either. Love your spinning, and what you are knitting, the colors are gorgeous! That is going to be a warm blanket when done. Have a lovely weekend. Catherine
I'm so sorry about Hilda. I'm glad she got to spend as much time as she did with you at the Last Homely House. The Wimbledon yarn is becoming a lovely blanket. Can't wait for a garden tour! Have a great visit with your Dad.....oxox Heather
Congratulations on 400 subscribers. It’s interesting that the cats knew that most of the kittens went to new homes and It was safe to return home. Your tennis yarn is gorgeous. The simple garter is showing off the colors Beautifully.
RsIslandCrafts - Robin I thought it was quite remarkable how the three other cats knew the kittens had gone as I didn’t see them for days - I suspect they posted a lookout ........ they have far more complicated lives than I imagine! 😂❤️😊🌿
Another lovely video. Even though I have only just found your videos, I am loving them. I especially love your green yarn and I am here almost 3 years later since you made your video, I am knitting the same type of shawl. Thank you. :-) :-)
“Two aunties and a grandma”, sounds like a perfect title for a new kitty book Kate?? The wool looks gorgeous. I want to spin now. Hilda had a wonderful life with you that gave her a beautiful home at the end of her time.
Congrats! 409 subscribers - you are famous now! Love the "Tennis Knitting" colors - beautiful. So sorry about Hilda - she had several wonderful months of being a free chicken. My sister in law rescues Greyhounds - racing dogs and gives them a few more years of a real dog's life. All animals deserve a good life. Glad the cats are all back and settling in again - you'll miss those kittens! Thanks for sharing with us - so enjoy these chats.
Cynthia Hamblin-Perry I have a friend who takes retired greyhounds. I’m not really a dog person, but her current dog is so lovely. I’m enjoying having the cats back to normal, though Sadie seems to have reverted to being a kitten herself! The vet on Tuesday then hopefully we can get back to normal, though I doubt it! 😂😊❤️🌿
I am a handspinner, too. I did a wool breed study years ago and now have quite a bit of unspun wool. I am going to start the "tv kniitng" project you are doing....such a great idea.
Thank you for giving Hilda and her pals a chance to be free birds. I'm sorry they have such problems after leaving factory life. You yarn is gorgeous!! I bet you're happy for Djokovic's win. Thanks for going to the trouble of recording in the pavilion. Lovely day. Happy knitting. Cat equilibrium restored!! Have a nice visit with your dad. :)
Gwyn Wellliver thank you! I’ve never placed a bet in my life, but I was kicking myself for not having a tenner on Djokovic at the start of the tournament!!! 😂😂 thank you for your lovely support! 😊❤️🌿
I just love your vlogs. Seems like we've met before, though not possible as,we are oceans apart. You do so many of the same crafts that I enjoy, and I also love trying new things, and we even knit the same way, and I enjoyed watching you knit. I'm watching your vlogs in no particular order, love them all.
I enjoy our chats.....lovely weAther, kitten and all kitties. I watch your vids over and over. Learning drop spindle and will b getting a wheel...exciting. would love to c u spinning. Be well...c.u. my friend.
Hi Kate! Glad to hear the kitties are all settling back in to the normal swing of things and are back at home. So sorry to hear about your chickens, that must have been awful, and Hilda, just so sad and painful. I wish the breeders would just let nature be, and not change the genetics of animals to make more profit, and bigger eggs. Unfortunately the lives of the animals are of little consequence, and easily replaceable. I think the quality of life holds more value, and people are more than willing to pay more for it and natural organic food with better conditions and less harm to our soil and water. All animals deserve a good life and should not be forced to live in cages and not be able to free range and enjoy life, while also giving eggs. A win win. Your knitting is sentimental as it represents something you enjoy watching, and every time you wear it will have special meaning, almost a little secret, that others won't know the meaning of all the colors.... : ) I am excited that your subscribers are increasing. I saw that you have more than tripled your numbers since I started watching... you are getting to be very popular! Lots of interesting and different things to learn and enjoy! : )
Kate L. Ahh, thank you Kate! My daughter in law and I were talking about this very subject this morning, unfortunately, most people would rather pay less for their food than consider animal welfare. It’s a massive global problem, we can just do our little bit to ease the suffering of such animals, and eat as responsibly as we are able. I am so enjoying making these little videos, and, like I said, so grateful for the support of people from all over the world. It’s rather marvellous! Take care and thank you Xxxxxxxxx .
It is such a pleasure to have found you.......it's like listening to a close friend you have known forever............The Chicken story is sad but they had a a period of being a real chicken and that is what should be concentrated on not the sad end
Do you have chickweed in the UK? Its a small prostrate vine with tiny white ray flowers and 5 of the rays, but each is split almost in half. Chickweed likes to grow in shady places near buildings or trees. The juice you can express from the plant is good for eyes. It is a useful herb for lots of ailments. It excells though as eye drops. Used it to soothe an irritated eye that I accidentally got hot pepper juice in. It helps the body fight infection. It thins mucous membranes. Bacteria and viruses, etcetera defenses include a thick membrane to thwart antibodies from piercing it. So, it is good to apply to wounds on both man and besst and as an eye wash.
At first, congratulations on the 410 subs. Sorry to hear about the rescue hens. Even if their lives are short you gave them a good live in freedom. Too bad you missed out on filming when spinning the yarn. Would have loved to see that. And it all turned out good. Didn't hear any wind. Always nice to see an update on things. Glad the cats are back. 💕 from the Netherlands.
Sandra Oranje I have a series on spinning back in the archive, you might find it in the playlist section I think. I saw you pop up on the Hercules livestream!!!!!! How great to have Greg there! Makes you realise how small that place is! Xxx yay for the move! 😊🌿❤️
The Last Homely House East of the Sea Yeah I saw your comment on the extremely quiet Brad in the corner. 😉😂 I can't wait to see what the contractor is going to do with the place. September can't get here soon enough for them. I will have a look in your archives about the spinning. Would love to see that. Have a great evening. 💕
Sandra Oranje I watched the one when they visited the new premises - I’d love to help them move in!!! That channel has grown so fast - it’s such a lovely authentic family! I even watch terry shopping and wonder why I do!!! 😂😂😂😂 you have a great evening too!!!! ❤️
What a beautiful day at the homely home, your weather looks gorgeous. (even needed a sweater). I have wanted to ask you if you make sweaters for sell Kate. I would love a beautiful sweater, perhaps with Irish wool. Please let me know.... I am so sorry for about Hilda...EVERY little soul is special. And, you did everything for her.... I'm gonna make some chocolates with my granddaughter today. I have my last, most important back surgery Tuesday morning. So, please keep your chats going. I LOVE EM... (my daughter has put them through to my tv, so now there you are... big as life) sorry I went on.....have a EXTRAORDINARILY SUPER DAY... 💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟
sharon owens sorry to hear about the surgery Sharon, I hope you recover really well and completely. I couldn’t make you a sweater! You’d be waiting for years! You see what a butterfly mind I have, I don’t settle to anything for long. In fact my mind is racing with the next few things I want to film for you - though I’m not sure about being on the big telly like a proper person!! 😳 The way I think about poor Hilda is that she had six extra months of behaving like a proper hen should. So that’s a good thing to remember. Enjoy the chocolates, but I bet you enjoyed the making more! Take care Xxxxxxxxx
400 WOW watching and rewatching the older videos at night to keep me calm and relaxed , did you image that you would reach over 22,000 subscibers , Have a beautiful week Kate x x x
Dear Kate I stumbled across your TH-cam channel accidentally looking for Drum carding I am absolute hooked, love watching your day to day life and listening to you. I think we would get on like a house on fire. From the bees, to fibre madness, to food preservation, To gardening, . I look forward to lots more videos from you. I send you the warmest greetings from Sydney down under Sue
suemidwife oh, how funny! When I saw suemidwife had subscribed I naturally thought it was my friend Sue, who is a midwife!!! Ha ha!!! We WOULD get on well because I am a midwife too! I may have stopped being paid for it, but you never stop being a midwife!!! I’m so happy to have you along for the ride! I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have found so many wonderful people, first on Instagram and now here. Thank you so much for commenting so that now I know I have two friends called Sue who are midwives!!!!!! 😊❤️🌿🥦🥒🌸
Lovely video Kate, great tip with the knitting starting with one stitch like the idea of something easy to knit while watching TV.Glad your cats are all settling down, our rescue kitten arrived on Thursday. No cat in the house is speaking to me at the moment. Very interesting to learn of the longevity of battery hens, something I didn't know.Enjoy your trip up to your dads.My day was spent visiting The Greener Dream open garden for amnesty.Came back really inspired with a car load of trees and plants having stopped at a nursery on the way back.
Noreen Boland that knitting makes an even triangle. I saw it described as increasing one stitch at each end of every right side, but garter stitch has no right side, so I increase at the beginning (or end, it doesn’t matter) of every row and you don’t even need to think about it. It knits itself!!!! Thanks for your lovely support of my randomness! 🌿😊❤️
Sorry to hear about Hilda but happy to know you have good homes for your kittens. I really like your knitting, I have just completed a crocheted corner to corner baby blanket which works on the same premise as the knitted one. I do like the knitted one, as you said it's great to do while watching TV. Enjoyed as usual.
Thank you for sharing your story with us. So sad to hear Hilda didn't make it but she sure had happy times with you after a tragic start in life as a battery hen I love the colors of your wool and, as I descend through your videos, hope to see what you make with it
You are such a sweetheart, I love the Wimbledon yarn!! I just stumbled upon your video on my feed since I love all things yarn and knitting and I was captivated by your hen story. Sad, but at least you care about the little creatures. I guess I will wait for your next video and wish I could be in England where it seems life is a little slower than here in Michigan, USA
Christine Little greeting Michigan! You’re right about my slow life, it wasn’t always like this, but I enjoy having put the brakes on, or even being in reverse now and then!!! It suits me better than all the busy rushing I used to do!!!! Thank you so much for your interest. I love connecting with like minded souls around the world xxxx 😊❤️🌿
Hi Kate, I'm still catching up (on my mobile and laptop) whenever I get a chance. Time flies !!Your subbies are up to 3.9k now as I'm watching. Yeeehaaaaa. Sorry about poor ol' Hilda. Regards from Oz
Hi Kate so sorry about your hens it's discussing how they keep hens if we're going to eat eggs and chicken we should at least give them a good life nobody should ever buy battery hens only buy free range on my apinion sending lots of love to you and your family xx
I've just discovered your podcast Kate and its great. I too have chickens, just five currently. We sadly had to dispatch two sick girls in the Spring and just didnt feel comfortable with our proficiency. Luckily our neighbour is a gamekeeper and has offered to help us out in the future. The only downside of poultry keeping, except of course the rats!!! I wanted to ask which needles you were using for your Wimbledon knit?
Please keep in mind a female cat will come into season approx 8 weeks after having kittens, so you really need to get her booked in quickly. There are so many kittens being born and it's easy to prevent x
It's the circle of life Kate, no need to apologise. All animals do what they have to do to survive. But I would worry if my Bones left home for a week. Well I would be a mess.
Aww Kate, I feel so badly about Hilda you just posted a picture of her on IG recently didn't you? I would really love it if you did a video about these types of hens that only live for a short period of time I just have never heard of this. Of course the only things I know about hens is what I have learned from you. Also if you do make a video about this could you give some information about the other hens that you said live 8-9 years. Have you seen Harry and Thomas since they went to live at Lorna's?
Angela10226 I have a mind to do a video exactly as you suggest - but my mind is filled with ideas! I have to remember to live in the real world too! I have just had a lovely day with my daughter in law! I’m deliberately leaving Harry and Thomas to settle into their new home as I don’t want Lorna to feel I’m checking up on her! She calls by most days to tell me how they are - she is so happy with them! But I promise I’ll see them soon then we can all be amazed by how much they’ve grown!!!! Sadie off to the vet on Tuesday!! Xxx 😊❤️🌿
Oh that's lovely, how is her quilt coming along? I understand about the kittens I'm sure you will give us an update at some time. Sadie is looking wonderfully fit for her date with the vet. Did Mark get Harry 2 yet? I know you said you weren't going to give him to him until his eyes were sorted.
400 subs ? haha 31, 400 is the count now. Poor Hilda and other chicken.....well, so goes life on the farm. At least they had a good life for the end of it.
yes - on the first stitch on every row, I knit into the front and back - and then - to make it a square - I knit two together at the start of every row. That way I don't have to remember which is the front and which the back - garter stitch so no front and back in any case xxxx
I'm sorry about Hilda. I never knew that egg laying chickens were only meant to live a year. That's kind of sad to hear and just wish farmers would stop trying to modify nature.
You've gone from 400 subscribers to 46 THOUSAND in less than three years. Kate, whatever you are doing, you are doing it right! Love the quilting, the cats, the garden, the stories and your homely home.
And look at you now, 133K subscribers. Wow. So happy that I found your lovely channel
I find it so relaxing listening to you chatting, you were so excited at the prospect of having 500 subscribers and look at you now!! 92K congratulations and long may your joy continue

Hello Miss Kate, from Denver, Colorado, USA! I love your videos. They brighten my day. 😊
I'm watching at 88.7k and thinking about how you should have millions... ❤️
i'm rewatching this and chuckling to hear you say, at the end, "..if ever we get to 500" - oh my! as i type, you're a mere handful shy of 10K! no surprise here - you're pure joy.
Loved watching Norma looking so spy and 'young' at 17!

Gosh Kate.....that colourful "wimbleton" yarn is knitting up into a BEAUTIFUL shawl/scarf/blanket!!
So sorry to hear about Hilda, at least she new love for a little while. I am still trawling through all your videos! Love them! Love knitting too!

Poor Hilda! Good catch up, Kate!
Poor Hilda, I'm sorry Kate. You did care for her last week's. Beautiful animals.
Catherine
Love the buttons on your sweater.
Watching you when you have 47.9 k subscribers. You mention that when you filmed you had 400. Wow. This is wonderful.
love watching people knitting..love your project, lovely colors..i thought you were knitting a shawl, but a blanket or scarf will be just as lovely..
Oh no, poor Hilda! So sorry. I know this was years ago... but I just found you and I'm watching from the start.
Me encantan sus vídeos , adoro los gatos y todo lo que hace ....un saludo desde Chile
I'm so sorry about Hilda. I'm glad she got to spend as much time as she did with you at the Last Homely House. The Wimbledon yarn is becoming a lovely blanket. Can't wait for a garden tour! Have a great visit with your Dad.....oxox Heather
heather foley I did, I’m so behind with comment! Thank you! ❤️😊🌿
Kate, you are such a sweet, caring, amazing person. I love watching your videos. I'm sorry about Hilda.
I am excited that your subscribers are increasing.
Take care and thank you
Xxxxxxxxx .
It is such a pleasure to have found you.......it's like listening to a close friend you have known forever............The Chicken story is sad but they had a a period of being a real chicken and that is what should be concentrated on not the sad end
Congratulations on your new subs record. 😎 That's 408 people who are at least as happy as I am each time we visit with you. Cheers!
Marie Currie thank you - that is a very lovely thing to say Xxxxxxxxx
Your yarn, and knit piece are beautiful! Sounds like you raised a fine man, something so needed in our world.
Take care

400 WOW watching and rewatching the older videos at night to keep me calm and relaxed , did you image that you would reach over 22,000 subscibers , Have a beautiful week Kate x x x
Je mi líto, že vám nerozumím, neumím anglicky?ale ráda vás poslouchám, což je divné! Vaše práce se mi líbí 👍🌷💝🌷👍
Dear Kate
I stumbled across your TH-cam channel accidentally looking for Drum carding
I am absolute hooked, love watching your day to day life and listening to you.
I think we would get on like a house on fire. From the bees, to fibre madness, to food preservation,
To gardening, .
Such beautiful yarn!
The yarn is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
I have finished it and am waiting for the chance to film what I'm going to do with ti - its on the (long) list! xxx
Sorry to hear about Hilda and congrats on your subscribers. You are a Joy to watch :)
Mommy of 2 Grandtime thank you! I appreciate everyone who joins this random stuff I put out there! 😊❤️🌿
Thank you for sharing your story with us.
So sad to hear Hilda didn't make it but she sure had happy times with you after a tragic start in life as a battery hen
I love the colors of your wool and, as I descend through your videos, hope to see what you make with it
I finished that and it is right here - waiting for me to finish it for the project I had in mind! someday!! xxx
Have a lovely visit with your Dad 🙂☀️🙂
Well I'm watching this on March 22, 2019 and you now have 4 thousand subscribers! Marvellous. Love your vlogs. Thanks you so much.

I just love this. My son spins and just haven’t tried. This makes me want to.
Have a lovely time with your Father and yay to tipping over 400 followers. I am having a cry over Hilda because I’m silly like that x
Karen Payne I’m silly like that too, nothing to be ashamed of, I really like all my hens 🙁❤️🌿

Sorry about the hens, take care. ❤ 😊
That would make a beautiful scarf
I love Wimbledon as well. I missed much this year. I like Djoko but my favorite is Nadal
So sorry to hear about your Hilda.
Almost 7k subscribers. Congratulations! You've come a long way! 💝☀🌵
I didn’t know that about rescue hens. Now I know why mine didn’t last. Never again 😰🇦🇺❤️
What including crust is a good Saskatoon berry pie recipe💖
So sad about Hilda but at least you gave her a beautiful home and chance to live freely.
Awwwe, poor little Hilda. You have her a nice retirement.
❤️🌻
Hi Kate, do you have a pattern to share of your green sweater (knitted)? Love your videos😍
Wash it with warm salt water it will not burn i promise ive used it on my self an my grandbabys. Salt is healing
Poor hilda love knitting congratulations on 400 thank Kate
I've always wanted to spin, never had the chance to get the tools and the knowledge. But now with this you tube, maybe it'll happen soon.
John is a good son!
Please keep in mind a female cat will come into season approx 8 weeks after having kittens, so you really need to get her booked in quickly. There are so many kittens being born and it's easy to prevent x
Miss Honey don’t you worry, I’m getting in touch on Tuesday!!! As soon as I’m back from Lancashire!!! No more kittens here! ❤️😊
Brilliant :) x
What is your yarn ?
It's the circle of life Kate, no need to apologise. All animals do what they have to do to survive.
But I would worry if my Bones left home for a week. Well I would be a mess.
I feel like that about Norma xxx
I'm watching you knitting and can't see the increase - do you do it on the first stitch?
yes - on the first stitch on every row, I knit into the front and back - and then - to make it a square - I knit two together at the start of every row. That way I don't have to remember which is the front and which the back - garter stitch so no front and back in any case xxxx
I'mourn Hilda some months after her death. Poor hen, what a sad life. Lucky she died in freedom, in your home, and with your sympathy.
Hi sorry I mean shouldn't buy battery hens eggs x
I'm sorry about Hilda. I never knew that egg laying chickens were only meant to live a year. That's kind of sad to hear and just wish farmers would stop trying to modify nature.
