Congratulations Jackie!! I was shocked when I saw the title of the video, I didn't know that was something you and your family were thinking of doing. What a wonderful new adventure for you all!
Congratulations! Will you eventually have access to the main road directly to your property, or will you always have to cross through someone else's property?
@AdriennesChannel Thank you. Every 40Acre parcel has a 30 to 50 foot road and utility easement on all 4 sides in their deed. Meaning they can not fence or build there, so other property owners have legal access to their property. The previous owner lived out of state and never cleared it. All the dirt roads in the community have been done by property owners and are on those easements ( other people's property)We could hire someone to make a real road, but I would rather have our access road more discreet.
@oldmaninthemirror Your correct. Thats why we went based on a 60 ft road easement, the minimum. After having the survey done, it turns out we actually have 100 feet and my marking were spot on! Yay for that!
@@Mickieshelton thank you for noticing and for asking! It's been a rough year for me emotionally and physically. Hopefully this property will help me heal!!!
I’m so happy for you two. Been following y’all for years and y’all just keep on getting better! Congrats!
@PinkLadyNews Thank you so much! I'm always anxious about our future it's easy to forget where we started and how far we've come. Great reminder!
Congrats!!
Main thing about property like this is getting the water rights with it and making sure that there is water to get.
That’s awesome!!!

@@mrachel3 Already done 👍

What does something like that cost ?

Probably doesn’t matter much in this situation but be careful using these apps for even semi accurate property line determination

@@EnjoyingLifesJourney Are we going to get a property progress update? I hope all is well with you and the family!!
You need an actual survey done. Depending on an app is an invitation to disaster!!!
@johnhouchins3156 I mentioned in the video we had one scheduled. It has already been done, so we're all good.
Tadpole
That's what I'm thinking!
How far from a decent size town is this ?
About an hr.
Youre not showing your comical face as much as you used to..why is that??
