  • In this video I install an upgraded anodized aluminium Airsoft Masterpiece Edge T1 Trigger for my TM Hi Capa 5.1.
The trigger is a flat trigger and will give a much different feel. The Edge T1 trigger also has an over travel adjustment screw to fine tune how much the trigger can travel past the point required to just fire the pistol.

I try and put the back together but the hammer either doesn't lock or the hammer does lock and the trigger doesn't pull which is also frustrating because I cant get the slide off the gun after taking off the might catch and sliding it forward i think its part of the issue.

Check if the trigger bar is bent, if the leaf spring or sear spring is set properly and if something is wrong with the sear. Somewhere between these parts is not mating or functioning correctly it sounds like.

So do i have to take the safety apart too or can i leave it on the frame

I suppose it could stay with the lower frame if your lucky and the wing levers don't fall off. Once the slide is off they are sort of losely held in place. Not a terribly big step either way.

how has the trigger been for you? any issues with pre travel?

    • @DucknDiveAirsoft

So far so good I think. My biggest issue is fat fingers with gloves on but that finds its way to hitting the mag release mid game more often than I want to admit 😂. With gloves I don't find an issue on the trigger itself though.

It can be tough just use a small metal punch ideally and hammer over something soft that gives a bit so it can start to come out. Once it's started you may be able to pull it or raise it a bit to keep knocking it out with the punch.

    • @DucknDiveAirsoft

@@LTstinkysocksMcGee420 a proper metal punch set is the best. You want to find something hard enough and matching the outside diameter of the pin because it'd just a rolled peice of steel plate and not actually a solid pin.
