We have pokéman here in clydebank (Scotland) he wears a hat that is covered in pokemon plush toys, pokemon gloves, pokemon t shirt, pokemon back pack, trousers (pants) and shoes that look like Ashes outfit. You always see him in the same place too walking along the road leading to asda (Walmart).

i read on tumblr yesterday that jack black caused an earthquake. he's literally rocked our world.
if you want context - he was doing a tenacious d concert that was rocking so hard, they rocked the ground enough it registered on the richter scale.
I know that there are multiple laboratories and offices that have shock absorbers for this very reason. I can't remember where they are, but the American football fans would get so loud, it would shake the laboratory destroying experiments.

I've learned there are a few different treats that are basically ice cream but have different names. Ice cream, gelato, sherbet and frozen custard are all technically different things. Ice cream and gelato differ in how fast they're mixed during the freezing process. Ice cream gets smoother the more eggs you put in, but apparently there's a limit to how many you can add before its custard and not ice cream anymore. Or thats how I understand it.

There's actually science behind that one! Because hiccups are caused by your diaphragm contracting in order to force you to keep breathing, it normally calms down if you breath in and out evenly. Side note: humans do this cool thing called speech mirroring that means if one person is talking in a specific tempo or cadence, the person focused on them will mirror it. So, if 'hiccup witch' speaks calmly and evenly to everyone, it will cause their diaphragm to stop having involuntary contractions!

there's 2 guys in my town one: he wears a black trench coat with what looks like the matrix all over it, he also wears black sunglasses, and walks around with a black crow-head cane, keep in mind he does this in 90 degree heat as well. two: now this guy is just plain weird he has about a dozen cameras aimed at his door, he has red candles in all his upper windows, he has multiple bright blue lights around the outside of his house, and the only times he has been seen outside he's wearing a full on hazmat suit.

While watching this I accidently got water in my phones speaker, while I was panicking the phone (at full volume but the audio was very quiet and grainy) suddenly made the loudest sound to ever come from a phone and after that it normalized and I thanked Robin for talking very loud at that moment
I accidentally brought my phone into a pool and it was surprisingly fine

Yea, my dad doesn't let Mt say "I don't know" either emkay. I have since decided that due to the context and effects this has had on me that this is a SEVERELY toxic trait as it tries to force perfection in every word and response. We're human, I talk with him about stuff and he says "I don't know" but I don't get mad at him because he doesn't need to be perfect. Yet he still treats me like this and I'm having none of it.

I keep laughing to myself thinking about the bone thing, imagine you’re eating a chicken wing and all of a sudden you feel the splitting pain of something like your femur bone dislodging from its socket and destroying things as it moves up your body and out your mouth, proceeding to run away soon after.

So when you have a hiccup , just focus on something ENTIERLY , focus so much that you won't even remember you had the hiccups in the first place , until you notice so
It's partly due to a subconscious thing that haooens sometimes when two people talk where one person will start to mimic the rhythm or tempo of the other person talking. Since hiccups are caused by the diaphgram contracting, which it does to keep you breathing, and because of the rhythm change, the diaphgram stops with the contractions because by keeping a tempo while talking, you breathe in and out evenly.

Ok, but unironically, just talking to someone and distracting them from their hiccups sounds like a really great way to get rid of said hiccups, especially since hiccups are related to breathing (which is why getting startled often works) and the more you think about them or trying to get rid of them the harder it always seems to be to actually get rid of them. Just completely distracting yourself and letting your breathing rhythm just sorta naturally readjust itself sounds perfect!

I cried only once doing math homework and that was when I was at a friends place after school.
I had trouble with math at the time and at home I was allowed to take a 15 minute break every 30 minutes because I couldn't concentrate on that stuff without a break.
My friends mom not only told me that I couldn't take a break until I was done, she also told me that I wasn't allowed to go to the toilet or drink anything until I finished my homework.
It's been 14 years and I still haven't forgiven this woman. Never went to my friends house directly after school again.

I would go slowly insane, knowing that I cannot go outside because of the danger in the woods, but the mushroom continues to grow, and after a while, it starts to die, and rot. I will run out of food, and I will have to start eating my house. The mushroom house is rotten, so it has a terrible smell with many bugs infested in it. I will throw up everyday because obviously I only have a rotten mushroom to eat. I drink the blood of the bugs living in the mushroom so I do not get dehydrated.
Now the mushroom house is gone, and I am in the woods and no one knows me, no one is here. plus, I am tiny. so everything looks big to me, there isn't anyway out of this forest, and I am left there to starve, freeze, or get eaten by a frog or something.

(For anyone interested, he's a guy that is most famous for counting kills in horror movies with some in depth analysis and behind the scenes magic stuff on a channel that he runs called "Dead Meat". He's a treat to watch if you enjoy learning things about your favorite horror movies while finding out just how many people died in it with plenty of energy for what he does. I don't have a guy but there is a woman who lives in this small patch of woods between a gymnastics academy and a BJ'S. She's like 60 and when people ask her if she wants help, she politely declines and can either be found walking outside the hotel on main street or on the rail beside the road the she lives next to.
This woman has lived there for my entire existence in this town and I aspire to have her level of independence
I was once constipated for 3 days, never known discomfort like it, it was awful.
Finally managed to dislodge the "pace car" and the relief was indeed better than sex.
Unfortunately the brown Grand Prix was now well underway. Relief turned to panic and about 20 minutes later, shaking and crying, knees trembling and weak, I realised I'd dropped two jean sizes.
