Your video is most probably the best I watched for a long long time. There are a lot of beautiful overland videos out there, BUT NONE gives good descriptions and tips like yours do! Well done!
Thanks Quintus, that's the idea behins the channel. I dont make the most beautiful, ill admit, but I try and fill them with the info fellow overlanders will need
i had a smile on my face all the time, thank you! I like the warning watch oncoming traffic cause its one way. Well did you see anyone at all on these empty roads? I am a birdwatcher so for me it would have wildlife!!
Thanks Trevor! appreciate to positive feedback. Hope ur enjoying Guatemala😁 ill mail you, we should have a virtual coffee sometime & catch up! thats a coffee over zoom😂
I thank you for the beautiful detailed video, I have already driven a few times by motorcycle in South Africa, the TANKWA KAROO I have not yet driven, but I think after your report must also be wonderful with the motorcycle.
Like your video. Booked 5 to 7 Sept 22 camping at perdekloof then on to Mokala Nat Park. Nice work, planing a trip to Namibië 2023/2024.maybe you can give us advice by the time we go you way. Keep wel and save
I liked this video. Very good sound track, specially for the hard hearing elderly person like me. This is the only way that I will ever see any Karoo. I can not travel like that. Keep up the good work and make more videos like this. thank you.
Just come back from Tankwa. Spectacular. Go prepared with tyre repair kit or possibly 2nd spare tyre. Any car problem is a major disaster with huge distances and nothing around. Take drinking water. The water is awfull. Enjoy . There is no place like it
Thanks for watching the video! hope you enjoyed it. Few things I missed and please feel free to add some of your own tips in the comments below. I'll update the pinned comment every so often with your replies. 1. Tankwa padstal/shop has free wifi and is closed on Wednesdays 2. The cottages are all different and unique. I stayed at the De Zyfer cottage, the picture is of the Tankwa guest house 3. The roads are not that great in some sections. I did not have any issues, but if visiting with a sedan stay on the main roads. Tip from J Mus (Oct 21): Take a tyre repair kit or a 2nd spare (I agree). Take your own drinking water, as the water tastes awful. Thanks J👍
Have you, finally, cloned yourself?!:) You have views of your car driving now!... unless your Frank learned how to drive himself leaving you outside? I would be a bit worried about that if I were you…:)
😂😂😂you are funny, yes i taught frank to drive himself, next i will send him to school, so that he can learn to write and then get a job. He must start paying his share of the bills😂
@@NickfrNamibia Haha. Just keep in mind, he might just drop you off once he leart all that... from the picture entirely!;)... Anyways - you guys (Frank and you) enjoy your trip and keep showing us Africa! :)
Great informative and beautiful video.
As usual an epic video. thanks.
Impressed with your presentation. More videos of the dry areas eh Karoo, Richtersveld would be good.

Dude i miss your videos
Great video. What type of camera are you using
Thanks Gary. That was done with a gorpo 8, most of my vids are. I use a 10 at the moment

Hi Nick beautiful. When will you visit Tanzania?
I cant say for sure, Tanzania is probably a year or two away
and thanks😊
Am beginning to like your videos but why do you travel alone every time?
Yes I do, i think ill expand on my answer in next weeks Travel Tuesday video
Who is this parks manager
I have no idea, never met a park manager, only the people at reception

Lots of burned cars by the side of the road and weird Boer estate signs about Jesus and such.
