- My favorite things to do at the West Coast National Park
I spend 2 nights at the wonderful West Coast National Park located an hour north of Cape Town. The park runs around the southern section of the Langebaan lagoon and offers amazing scenery, beaches, as well as flower and bird viewing #westcoastnationalpark #5410Africa #capetown #langebaan
I take you on a drive from the NE'ern gate, showing you points of interest and things to do. We end the day with a braai on the beach at the Tsaarbank

Always a pleasure🙂 enjoy your visit in SA
I was thinking this video is about America West Coast but it's South Africa. This is even more exiting. 👍🙂

That giggle on the beach says it all. Lekker Boet. The West coast is stunning. Thanks for the info, always enjoy your detailed vlog. Cape Point has stunning places too. Keep enjoying the adventure Nick.
Thanks Derius! Cape Point was Sundays plan and then life got in the way, unfortunately, but I'll get there soon.
I ve been on the Private beach in 2013...lovely there....cheers Patrick
beautiful place🤩
Wow! Great scenery in the park. Are there any animals? Only saw flamingo..
Some big game, eland, gemsbok, zebra, but not the big 5. Only saw some ostriches. Not a park you visit for for game viewing.
Nice Nick! Was there in the flower season this year - beautiful park. You should consider posting some of your footage on the I Love Cape Town FB page. Should get you some more subscribers here on TH-cam 💪🏼
Must have been great with the flowers! thanks for the tip and watching Alex, I'll have a look👍
Hi Nick, nice video. At about time did you have your braai at Tsaarskraal? I have heard about the infamous afternoon West Coast wind.
thanks Corne, if I remember correctly around 2-3pm. The wind was pumping that day on the lagoon side and then there was barely anything at Tsaarkraal. It must have been a SE'ter blocked by the hill you cross to get to the ocean. A NW'ter would have killed me...
looks fabulous is fishing allowed there?
Not in the park, but the largest part of the lagoon is outside the park. There you can boat, sail, fish etc.
Some countries will be terrifying!
Yip😱
