I bought an Ampero Mini last month here in France and love it. It's a Swiss Army knife on my compact pedalboard. It's a scaled down Ampero II, but has what most people use and at a real budget price. I paid 199 euros, which made it a no brainer. It accepts my other pedals well, like the new Kelley HALO, DOD chorus and expression pedal. By far the thing I like the most is the touch screen interface. I've waited years for guitar effects to catch up with iPhone technology. Two thumbs up.

Yeah the touch screen is great, and I 100% agree it sounds great with other pedals, I’ve just made a video about that actually!

Strange, in my experience it didn’t take medals well at all, at any setting. Had to return it. Heck my spark go takes pedals much better.
The cabs were also very underwhelming. Sounds ok for the money I guess but won’t replace my quad cortex for a compact pedalboard that’s for sure.

Being an amp modeler, it's really up to the user as to what it's going to sound like. I think you demonstrated that pretty well

That’s a good point, and thank you mate! I think things like core sounds, ease of use and overall functionality are the things people look for to get their sound from an amp modeller, which is where this is great

This is awesome! Would you be able to publish your patches configuration in any form? I just got one of the minis and am absolutely amazed by the possibilities to price ratio.

I’m not sure if there is a platform to share patches for this product but I may make a follow up video diving deeper into these patches!

@@dredzikI’ll see what I can do about a follow up! I don’t believe all Multi FX pedals have an online platform to share presets, but all multi fx of the sam brand and model should sound the same with the same settings no matter what

thank you. 99 pc of the reviews go with crazy high gain stuff that I really dislike: high gain makes me a headache. literally. Wondering that with a double foot switch I can use the looper on stage and switching to a distortion to solo it over without complications

I honestly haven’t explored the looping function a whole lot. I think it would be a tedious learning process but once you have figured it out it would be fairly straightforward

I have downloaded the software which works fine but am yet to connect the device to my computer for serious editing. I know on other Ampero products it has worked fine so I don’t imagine this being any different!

How are their delay and reverb effects?

As good as any other Multi FX in the same price range, very good, definitely passable, but just missing the heights of Strymon for example.
