First, I wanna thank you, Jason, for so much incredible information and your thoughtful and concise explanations. Im looking forward to tinkering with these. I would Line 6 to consider adding the ADA MP1 -2 pre amp. That had an incredible clean sound!
Line 6 never ceases to amaze me, every time I start wondering about drifting over to the fractal world... They're dropping insane update like this that will easily give me a couple more years of playing around and dialing for new sounds.
Jason, I wanted to give you thanks for the video you have about loudness, it was like an "aha" moment for me. I was having problems with my helix output, didn't like what I was hearing, and just constantly blamed it on my tone. I ended up downloading a loudness meter plugin, and lo and behold, it wasn't my tone, but the amount of volume on the amp block I had set. I heard that the volume affected the tone, but never understood until now.
Really cool stuff, lots of vids to look forward to! My special effects mindset is really curious about the possibilities, particularly mixing the bloom reverb with the feedbacker effect... Idk, I just feel like some crazy sounds are just begging to be explored. And as always, sweet track!
Looking forward to the array of videos you'll be making on this wonderful Update. I know a lot of people are excited about the Prize - Nobels inspired Effect, and it sounds great from what I heard so far. I'm also interested in the Original Line 6 Amps, as they add something fresh and useful to the usual Amp lineup. Thanks
@@JasonSadites it was meant to be. Not being from Can A Da, I do not get the opportunity to catch them unless they head below the border. Though I have seen them twice in the last few years. Love it every time and yes he is a Monster!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for NOT using the term "gamechanger".... can we all just agree that term needs to be permanently cremated and buried at sea with full military honours? It's so overused it means absolutely NOTHING anymore. Can't wait to update my LT...
The existing presets will stay the same, except for any presets that had a cab update those will be updated and can be re-downloaded later today from the Line 6 Marketplace with the new 3.70 cab just like I did with 3.50 :-)
I still prefer the archetypes as my go to amps. These new amps are being overhyped. That said, its great that line 6 keeps updating the Helix family. 3.5 was the step change though.
Have they fixed their terrible looper that is useless in live situations even the stomp XL is supposed to be an all in one box tool? I m really pissed of with Line6 engineers. Even the box is taller, buttons are not the best for looping
