sounds killer , just order mine.
Man! What a killer video! Congratulations!
Thanks buddy more to come soon
Pretty excited about this. Mines coming tomorrow I’m well giddy. Cheers for showing me around the device player. New sub in thanks :)
Hey thanks
It’s a great little pedal
That tube screamer before the amps is why they all sound the same
@@EmperorKamikaze yes but that’s what 80% of people do,they are quite different but tight high gain is tight high gain I guess
So many possibilities, so little time.
What flavor of metal do I want today?
The combinations are many.
Depending on amp, type of speakers and how many, type of guitar and pickup... and of coarse witch setting on the hot tone you go with.
I would have fun for weeks writing down the different flavors I could come up with.
I must admit there’s lots of very good options usually I find 4-5 versions of a tone but in here there’s tons 🤣
7:56 🥵🥵🥵🥵 brutal!!!!!!
does it always have a sound mute when you switch the presets and torn on and off the effects
Sounds nice. I just think about it to order one, or maybe the IK Multimedia Tonex 🤔🤘
Curious if you can get a Van Halen tone out of it?
Absolutely yes 👍
Does it have a Boss HM2/chainsaw patch in it?
There’s a lot of distortion and overdrives so it may do ha
No, there isn't hm2 pedal. But i use It in front of It and sound Amazing.
Needs MIDI switching capabilities. Just a MIDI input would be a massive improvement for this thing and would definitely put it on my radar. The size is perfect. The screen is fantastic. The tones are killer. Just wish It could be MIDI controlled.
I have a massive pedalboard and run a boss es-8 switcher. Theres not a lot of room left for pedals. I currently use my EVH 5150IIIS EL34 100 watt head in 4 cable method. And this is where all my tone comes from. I'm able to midi switch it through my control switcher. But I'd like to be able to get away from needing my head. Id like to move to a pedalboard preamp and power a seymour duncan powerstage or go to foh if I want. Id like the option to go amp and cabless.
Right now the ik tonex looks like the clear winner in the race. Before the tonex came along I was really interested in the mooer preamp live. It can do captures and MIDI switching. But its a tad bit too long of a pedal. I could fit the tonex on my board but thats pretty much where I'm going to cap out on real-estate. Its not like a pedal like this ampero would afford me room for more pedals nor do I need more but it would be a more comfortable fit than the tonex.
I do like this pedal tho. It sounds great. But the hunt for the perfect preamp solution continues. Lol
I have a Tonex and sadly it doesn't cut it without an amp to plug into and a mic which in the end takes it out of the game because you need an amp and effects still just to get a decent sound.
To everyone out there, remember one thing about amplitude products, if you buy one used it has to be 60 days in use and have a transfer $20 license in order to use it while getting the software and updates or you just bought an overpriced brick.
@@mrguitar5051 really solid info here. Thankfully for myself, I was planning to use a tonex with a seymour duncan power stage into either my iso cab or my 412. I just have a particular excitement with micing cabs. Call it a preferred novelty. I do want to check out more amp sims but I never bought into many of them. I bought into a few early on when sims were still pretty lacking and I felt burned by it because even back then I was getting better results out of my own amp and cab setup. I know now the quality is far better and I've learned more about amp sims and ir's. I'm pretty sure at this point something like ndsp gojira is absolutely worth it. So as far as needing a cab for the tonex to sound good. Thats fine I got it covered. And I have a few ir's that the tonex would have to be pretty bad to not get stellar results with.
As far as purchasing used. Thank you for that information. I almost always buy used stuff but I was already considering purchasing the tonex new from sweetwater specifically because I was unsure how the software thing was gonna play out. So what you're telling me just confirms I should purchase new.
@@smeemusic I was there with you with the amp sims didn't click with the jst toneforge or pod farm early on but sty and Neural DSP are the way to, each has trial periods so you can really be sure you're not buying a dud, I have a bunch of tube amps but for simplicity the Gojira plugin or the Lasse Lammert plugin with the purple nightmare sounds crazy good with little effort
It can be MIDI controlled via the USB port. There's no mention about it in the manual but it works very well with the M-VAVE Chocolate.
@@rodolfoluppi is there a midi to usb conversion cable available for it?
Are you planning on a shootout between this and the SONICAKE Matribox?
I think that Matribox is a real killer for $120! easy to use and great tones for under $150!
I may do a full Mooer v Zoom v Sonicake v Hotone yes
@@NinecoreNeillooking forward to that video.
@NinecoreNeil does it have the EVH Stealth 100 w preset on it?
Just EVH not sure which one
@@NinecoreNeil should I buy coz I don't wann spend much on an real EVH amp?
@@MilanRockful checkout my EVH v Ampero video
Can I use only modulations and no cab nor amp simulation?
Not sure what you mean buddy
has options to turn off cab mode L/R
He just want the fx
Sounds great but can you run it into the front end of a tube amp?
I will be doing this soon 👍
@@NinecoreNeil thx I'll be watching.
Hi... this one or GP200LT?? Thanks
I’ve only tried this one out of those two buddy
sounds really great! would I be able to use this with my Princeton Reverb?
Yea
Hi John, I just got this and it doesn't sound right when I run through an amp. The models with an amp create a squshed sound. You could use the effects, but I think you need a PA type speaker or through your computer. I've only had it 2 days, but research that maybe.
If you already bought it, I'd love to know how you get on.
@@neilkorsgaard hi buddy did you see my other video into the return of the EVH ?
It might help
Hi Neil! I just got mine after watching your videos on this ampero mini. Same orange color too😊 do you have any tips on connecting to the front or return of an actual amp? TIA.
I’ve not actually tried it into an amp yet I will be doing a demo
I’d go into fx loop and turn cab sim off
You want to go into the effects return if you have one.
This or Sonicake Matribox?
One is less expensive so it comes down to preference
Do you need an expression pedal too
sounds amazing. but all sounds like the same tone color with different EQ.
I think you get that a lot with high gain models tbh
That’s because when you have so much gain and compression, really the #1 thing that makes the biggest change to the tone is the cabinet. If there was a different IR for each model demo’d here, there would be a massive difference.
Need Help Ninecore Neil! I’ve been searching for the best “rect o box” for over 20 years since I sold My triple. So I really dig the VStomp and every demo I’ve heard of an ampero on TH-cam has been brutal! All of them. So I bought the hotone binary amp and run a tubescreamer and graphic eq in front and thru a Mooer Radar then into powered cab wedge and monitors. unfortunately it sounds nothing like a Rectifier, actually the Diezel and Engl sims sound closer and still meh. Same with the soldano! You make this Mini sound Iike what I dream in My head !Even better than My AMT R2 which is the closest I can come and it’s a one trick pony that’s pretty dated. The Binary Amp has the “dual dsp and cdcm” that’s in all of them, and I thought I could get there… but no cake. Do you have any other legit rectifier in a box pedals that would let Me keep My current pedal rig? I’m sold on this already, but might as well grab a Used Mp100 or the new stomp and stage. I would have to sell a lot of gear to get the new ones with the Woman killing Me! If You Like I’d happily send You My Amt R2 and the Binary amp for demo and or tutorial because I can’t get there! Any advice would Be great and if you have any suggestions I’m all ears. Would You prefer this over the others in the Ampero line?
Hi buddy the Dual re multi watt is one of my favourite amps,as far as recto’s go not many pedals get it right the Mini is definitely one of the better ones.
This is the only Ampero I have tbh
I’m not sure the recto sound is easy to replicate
I’m hoping the Mooer 1000 will have it nailed but I’ve not received one yet.
Thanks for the offer I’d definitely consider it i the future for sure.
I just need some spare time on my hands hit me up on Facebook next week
You'd probably get better variation by keeping the amp and scrolling thru cabs
@@EmperorKamikaze yeah that would be a cab video though then
For for That machine.
Bought one. The latency is too much.
out of all amp modelers in its price range ampero produces the closest to real amp tone.
It’s definitely a favourite of mine
@@NinecoreNeil its not much more expensive here than the nux nsg6 but offers a lot more versatility.
