I really like how distinct each character's physicality is, like how Blue's is upright and collected, and how Gold's is bouncy and playful. It really sets up a fun distinction of their personalities.
Brown is also low to the ground and hunched, which makes them seem kind of feral and unrefined, and red’s cycle is very dramatic and exhaustive, so I get the impression that they’re the tough, no nonsense one.
The way the music gets muffled during pink's introduction give me a feeling that their character is usually pretty laid back and goes with the flow, but occasionally pipes up with an idea or action that saves the day out of nowhere. Like a chill saviour of sorts
@@Numbnuts007 He might be right, it's just that the guy wouldn't be able to shadow the black character since he does straight black as shadows, so he might've went to brown instead of grey because of style choices? Idk, anyways this is a bop of an animation lol

Shadows and shading become awkward, his visor would have blended with his suit making it difficult to tell when it starts and ends, and the black lines around the character wouldn’t be recognizable. It’s why so many “dark” things are colored purple a lot of the time.
I remember Alex's original pilot for these characters with the ska intro! Is this redesign a sign of a revitalized show with these dudes? I loved the back and forth they had with each other and the animation was hella fluid then but even moreso now!

@@lidofzejar no problemo and seeing as how this is a revamped version of the original and they haven't commented on the genders of this iteration's characters, I guess its left up to interpretation for now, which til Lindsay & Alex comment on it, seems perfectly fine to do.
I love how you're able to convey their personalities! Dark Red seems to really likes to be low to ground like in the second one which makes me think he's more of the wild one. Blue is really elegant and dances with more finesse which gives the vibe of prim and proper. Red really likes to be more acrobatic and has more exaggerated movements so it makes me think they're more childish. Yellow seems very into poses so I have the idea that he's really into having the attention on him.

At first it confused me but it's actually really cool how subtle the difference between the male and female ones are. The males are a little more lankey and their outfits are looser in the groin. The females have more defined chest and thighs, rounder buttocks, and closer fitting fabric in the groin. I'm so used to animation putting bows and eyelashes on characters to indicate they're female that whenever a design isn't obvious it defaults to male in my mind. It makes me realize that the way I see the difference between male and female character designs is different from actual human sex differences. Instead of just sticking a bow on it you actually made them more anatomically correct. That detail makes me love these animations even more.
I don't know why but when I saw the title and the colors, at first I thought that this would be a Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go reference. Still hits that vibe, and looks amazing never the less.
I like how these guys seem to have specific movements to them in each of these SuperGo videos I've seen. Blue looks to have effeminate regal movements, Brown seems to favor low crouching movement, Red appears to like rounded, playful, acrobatic styles, and Yellow goes for more open, bold movement.
Really loving these designs, the color scheme, and overall aesthetic of SuperGo. Not to mention how it utilizes funk music which has been out of the picture for years. Will there be a series following a story possibly, or just multiple shorts of the characters? I think I speak for all of your viewers when I say we’d love to see more.
All of the walk cycles for these characters in all the videos are such a wonderful source to study. The motion is highly readable and fun to watch. They are all great in their own way, and so expressive. Just awesome everything.

I'd love to see these guys in like an adult swim show, where they win the day by beating a monster of the week with good vibes and a lot of collateral damage. They're all just bros and they're just so stoked to be able to hang out and save the city, but they're also all super dumb himbos.
I like how everyone, except blue, are doing weird runs that would require a lot of stamina and muscles strength, but then blue...dear sweet blue, is just running while waving his hand back and forth like he's slapping invisible shuriken out of the way.
This style sums up the best part of my childhood. I miss the japan flavoured weirdness, graffiti and skating, firebugs for the PS1, Gorillaz, Viewtifuljoe and jet set radio part of my past. It will never come back, just how I'm never going to feel like a kid again, but this brought some of the memories back. Thanks for that.
That brown ranger made me remember that exercise routine. In high school they laughed at me for walking at the football field like that everyday which is good for your core mainly legs.
