It uses modern day jokes, its not forced, and if you pay attention to everything it is pretty funny. The part where Marlin tells Nemo he cant go to furry con and Nemo just goes "I hate you" before his dad happily waves and tells him to "have fun" getting turned into fish tacos caught me off guard and was funny as hell, almost made me choke on my water😂👍
