I got to hear 16 rotors at once, back at sevenstock like a decade ago. The 92p, Pete Halsmers GTO FC, that white 767 and a 787. All 4 did a lap together. And it's still, and always will be the greatest sound I've ever heard. Videos really don't do these motors justice. It's a euphoric sound to hear on person

I disagree. I am a fan of the Sp 6 rotor build but I simply think that mazda factory 4 rotors are the best sounding engines I've ever heard, in person particularly. They have a different echo to them, different rumble and scream👍🏽 767b, 787b, 792p, rx7 IMSA GTO (4 rotor), Jim Downing's Kudzu cars..yep

But Imo the bestest sounding rotary rn is that newly built 6 rotor, there's just a whole another level of excitement hearing it in those videos. Let alone real life which would change the whole situation. They sound very symphonic and has this high pitched sound when it revs really high. Like those olden days f1 sounds (v12, v10 era) with a hint of LFA and the Huayra R. It's just angelic, 4 rotors are still cool but I kinda grew bored of it lol. No doubt though the best sounding 4 rotor is mazda's own 4 rotor, the rest almost manages to capture the feeling
