- TX2K21 was full of hidden gems, one of which was David Mazzei’s “Formula Seven” 4-Rotor monster! This car is UNBELIEVABLE in EVERY radical way, especially when it comes to the exhaust note. As shocking as one turbo 4-Rotor is, it goes to show what an incredible opportunity it was to find TWO of them in the same parking lot. Seeing as how this opportunity doesn’t come around often, we couldn’t help firing them both up and hearing the 8-rotor Wankel symphonic!

Not only him tho , australians improved the engine and Puerto Rican’s actually perfect it . That’s why they have multiple all engine 13b’s in the 7,8 and 9 second range . And loquito killer is at 6.06 too , right along loquito killer at 6.16 .. 20b and 13b

Been a fan of Mazzei's build for a while now. That sound is like nothing else. One of the cleanest FD's I've ever seen let alone the 4 rotor.

Ive seen this car time and time again on IG and a feature on youtube but ive never really seen this in depth and personal. What a sick car and really down to earth guy. Really seein the smiles on his face and seeing his eyes light up as he talked about how long of a process its been you can just tell he is truly grateful for everything he has and has done. You guys are the reason us younger guys coming up have the passion we do in this dying culture. Amazing video once again 1320 and huge shout out to David for such a beautiful car and humble personality!

I've seen this car in person several times at the Magic City Octane car show. The video does not do it justice when it revs. The first time I saw it drive in, he revs it and I could feel it in my bones! Probably the loudest car I have heard on the road.

Mazzei's RX7 is my most favorite car to watch on the internet, hands down. It is really a dream, with no expense spared. And it just keeps getting better every time I see it. Mazzei is a genuine, bonifide badass.

Is beyond what David did, both are great, but Rob's is clearly on a whole other level, maybe it's not fair to you, but it's not Rob's fault that David is an introvert and doesn't exploit marketing as well, in the end.... If you look for who is giving more to the rotary world.... That would be Rob, he's even explaining how to build a reliable rotary from scratch and many things to take into account.

Notice it’s not shooting flames out the side, because that’s a well set up car. It thing’s tuned like a damn concert piano.
No doubt this is an awesome car but I assure you, if you saw it at night while it was hitting the rev limiter or while shifting at high rpm, you'd see plenty of flames. Many fine-tuned engines emit exhaust flames, particularly those with forced induction and even more so, those that are both rotary AND forced induction. If ethanol or methanol is used, the flames are primarily blue in color.

@@dylannix4289 Maybe.. The builder explained he runs his rotary engines fat (fuelwise) which helps to produce some R35 type flames while at high boost on the 2-Step. Check it out during nighttime runs.
Wow, I've dreamt for years now that if I ever hit the lottery that I would swap out my 13B and put a 20B in my 1980 10th Anniversary Limited Edition RX-7. Now, thanks to a fellow super passionate Rotorhead such as myself, my new hero David Mazzei and his freakin' mind blowing 26B RX-7 has shown me that when it comes right down to it...never put a limit on your Wankel dreams. I'm not even a rotary guy and I've been a huge fan of Mazzei since SEMA. The raw engineering and mechanics of his RX-7 is something special. Actuators, strain gauges, solenoids, all things that are going by the way side but he is keeping alive.
My ears hurt and I’m not even there.

While I’m glad he didn’t LS swap it, I really hate seeing these beautiful cars get hacked to pieces. There’s only something like 2-3,000 FD RX7’s ever imported so it’s about impossible to find one for a reasonable price. They made like 600,000 first gen Camaros and look how expensive they are. You gotta be rich to be a car enthusiast

It doesn't quite use that much. It takes that fuel pump to keep the adequate fuel pressure on injectors without actual drop in pressure. If it used 250 gallon per hour there would literally be no pressure in fuel line because for the line to flow that much gallons it would have to be open and no injectors. But it probably does use a quarter of that amount of gallons per hour.
Love this car, favorite car that isnt a 300zx. The quality plus the RELIABILITY of this car 🔥🔥 also he actually drives it around on the street. Been following for a long time 💪🏿

I said it before and I’ll say it again there’s no v6 that tops 4 rotors and I love GTRs the sound of a 4 rotor is unreal.
You sir are absolutely right nothing comes close to the sounds of a rotary engine. But you are also trying to compare a six-cylinder to essentially a 12.
It’s hard to make a V6 sound good. Most of them sound like a brick tumbling in a dryer.
Inline 6’s sound way better than any v6 and still don’t come close to a 4 rotor. Really nothing does. But gtrs are one of the only v6s that actually sound good but Most v6s sounds like shit.

@@Make-Asylums-Great-Again no. that car is a long way off complete. the only parts that came off were either bodges just to get it ready for the race, or part of the body kit that was only mocked up for sema. the can handled very well for how little time he had to get it ready for the race.
He has completed car but it just happens to break so he has content to film he can't keep a motor together. It's all for content sadly 😔
