👍 this is a great program that All/Some athletes should use. It has helped with my physique + health, I have gained a big amount of improvement through this program with an 93cm vertical jump (36 inch) at 15 years old with a height of 5'5 . Keep up the great!
@@User-ho8ws Firstly you want to establish a workout regimen that suits your needs. If you want to increase your vertical jump, you must understand what muscles you are using. For example, your quadriceps, glutes, calves, Achilles, and your ankle. These muscles/tendon must be worked in order to increase vertical jump. I find that isometric workouts help with knee pain which helps me specifically jump higher. I also like to do eccentric movements which I think also improves vert. If this helps let me know and stay dedicated 👍
Omg.... I got injured by landing on my left leg only. I'm not fully recovered but its a looong time to be fully okay again. Its so interesting to see this cause.
Please make 1 week training program. 😍😍!! Which day we have to do slow workouts, which day we have to speed training ? which day spikes? Which day blocks,? which day service,? which day gym/weight training? which day rest. We all nepalese volleyball players are in confusion cause we don't want any injury also. I think if we do same workouts and volletball drills/ exercises then it won't be good. I need your suggestion.
sorry i did first commet before wathing the video. You are the best coach... You are the real Coach, Real Teacher. You are really Volleyball Lover. You want to give service about volleyball to the people from all over the world.
!! I have a question, when we have our full body routine, on upper body lower body and core exercises how many reps should we do? And also should we have like, sets or repeat twice those 3 exercises? because I don't really understand how are we matching those 3 exercises together
idk I think you can organize that on your own and do it to your preference. An example is 3 sets of 10. Or two sets or 15-20. 3 sets of 50, what ever it is you're capable of doing and the time you have.
Thannk You very much for this video. I was in confusion and scared for injury. You are the Real Coach. Some of coaches don't try to say real techniques and ideas so you are great sir...Can you make an individual video of Sunday, Monday, tuesday ................ saturday. including service, block, overhead pass, Digging, spike, workouts etc.... please 🙏🙏
Hi coach. Any videos or tips for a 3 step approach ? Where should the hands be on the first left foot step. Also first step should be very slow and small right ? Should I keep my elbows bent and near chest on the first step ? Then on second step long and arms go back. I read to keep arms straight down and relax on the first step but this does not help me swing them back when I start my approach.
The first step is your orientation step, you take a small step, your arms move just like they would when you take a normal step but both arms of course. For me, it's easiest if I don't focus on my arms because they come naturally when you understand the concept of the approach. Your arms need to drive you up in the end, but how far front they are on the first step depends on what feels good for you. Try to focus on why you do it, not how you do it and your body will follow.

When doing plyos??
Hi coach Reid. My question is can you do these workouts and Routine with a 15 year old ?
Definitely! If you are looking for help for your 15 year old then visit www.reids-workouts.com
How many hours per week does this program require?
Working out is good and all but now I'm just thinking how I'll just be sore all week lmao. I mean it's worth it.
And how do you set up a week in off season?
well you got more time in the off season so you can do more like an upper lower 4 times is good
Muy bueno pero seria mejor con traduccion en español para nosotros los latinos que no manejamos su idioma
Spike touch
I have practice 6days a week
maybe check out a d1 athletes schedule and see how they balance it out
Wickedness is everywhere, but we can still escape this through believing in his righteousness, Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
