- Boasting a massive 46" vertical jump Taylor Sander knows a thing or two about power and explosiveness. The former Olympian and current Professional Beach Volleyball player visited the REP HQ to give us the inside scoop on how he trains. He takes us through the warm up and strength protocols he uses to stay healthy while building power to jump high and swing hard enough to put craters in Earth's crust with a volleyball. We then took what we worked on in the gym and brought it to the courts for some fun in the sand.

amazing video and content. for those curious, the ring rows are "inverted rows", and the rotator cuff stabilization exercise at 6:40 are variations/combination of "scapular ITYs" (source: myself, orthopedic physical therapist who also plays volleyball)

Question: After a leg workout including the sled and squats, would Taylor play the same day (in a real scenario)? It didn't like the most intense workout, but still, wouldn't it be hard to play the same day? Nice video btw.

I always wonder how tall was Taylor. So basically he is a bit shorter than Michael Jordan and jumps as high at MJ's prime. He look very light and efficient. His body is not carrying much weight he shouldnt have.

Teach proper arm swing mechanics to Adam and he’d be a baller
I think taylor could benefit from training with a weight lifting specialist. Guy is an amazing volleyball player, but could probably be even better with some insight on work out programs to build certain muscles. I would hit him hard in the shoulders
