@@SigaP69 well, yes, i think it could have been more developed, i think there is room for more than what it actually was. but yes, other than that is very good
“its looks like its beginning to rain” this statement is so powerful. mustang is powerless when it rains and thats how he fells after hughes death... powerless
Maes brotherly love for Roy was rivaled only by his love for his family. He was Roy’s biggest supporter for becoming the fuhrer, and in many ways he was the colonel’s emotional center whilst Hawkeye was his rational.
That's what they do. They make you like a character. Love his personality and in some moments even feel as if you were him. And then... they take him away. In the most dramatic way
Much better than hollyplot armorwood, where nothing consequential ever happens, so any scene is meaningless. Especially action scenes when you know they will make it out alive anyway.
+Daniel Gerhard can anyone tell me if there is another moment in mangas history as emotional and sad as this part of FMA Brotherhood? (maybe Elfen Lied)
Now we are literally know what it feels like to be mustang here. Fujiwara keiji thank you mau you rest in peace It's a terrible day to rain (Context Hughes VA Fujiwara keiji has died losing his battle with cancer)
"No, it's raining alright." It's not just a saying to hide his crying, but a reminder that his alchemy to manipulate the air to cause explosions doesnt work when it's raining - he's also saying he was powerless to save Hughes as much as he's powerless in a fight when it's raining.
Niro Narukami yeah, but brotherhood is the better one. It was made after the original, with much more character development and well, second versions are always better! This is just my opinion though. And I'm not one to talk, since I didn't see the original but I did see a video comparing them both.
@@meenatchir4497 Then you should probably watch it. Original is better, especially if you prefer the more emotional approach to the anime. I thought FMAB was better for character development for fighting, but Original is less shounen-like and just has a more well-adjusted view on how to tug peoples' heartstrings. FMAB is more of a cold-hearted, boring approach.
spoilers..... It took me a long time berfor understood... Lust is killed by a willfull man. Envy is destroyed by a contempt man and had he eyes burn so he couldn't be envious. Wrath and Pride have the power to consume all. Wrath is defeated by a man who has renounced it. Pride will ultimately destroyed itself. Envy is killed through slef-relization. Gluttony himself is consumed. Sloth is killed by those who choose hard lives when easy ones are obtainable. Greed is not good nor is it evil but it must be scarified to save the world.
How come the death of a human can't make us cry if we don't know them, but a cartoon figure which isn't even real, completely empties our tears.. The irony of life..😂😂
+Meenatchi Ramaiah Cause you get attached to said characters. But I personally never cried for any character whatsoever and almost cried when seeing people I don't know dying.
This scene and the later scenes when Ed, Al and Winry find out hit so hard, especially because there's so many fleshed out characters who react to Hughs' death in completely different ways. The Elrics blame themselves, Winry loses her third parental figure and sees Elicia do the same, Armstrong, expressive as he is, just manages to keep his exposure, Gracia's struggle as a widow with a three year-old is actually acknowleged a bit, and she hides her pain encouraging the Elrics to give meaning to her husband's death and considers it his sacrifice instead of assigning blame to others despite how hurt she really is, and Mustang internalises the pain over his lost comrade and friend and struggles with it for the rest of the series. Makes you realise how many different things a character can be to how many different others if you put in the effort.
I'm watching FMA for the first time, but because of spoilers I knew what would happen in this episode. I tried to prepare myself for it, but instead started crying at the very beginning and just kept crying and crying through the whole episode. OH GOD WHY T_T

Spoilers It's pretty impressive that how they show Wrath in this. Upon first viewing his reactions fits with the other characters, however when viewing it after he mentions how angry he was at Elisa, it's actually very clear in that moment
Bradley is trembling after Elicia's comment. It is not because he is sobbing or trying to contain the tears, but he is trembling of anger because the silence has been broken by Elicia. The man is trying to maintain his calmness and not snap the girls neck. After all, he is the incarnation of Wrath.
