“My eyes, my eyesight, how am I ever gonna- woops that’s 5 minutes up, chop chop fullmetals we got people to kill, buildings to burn and a coup to lead
I cried. Ed's reaction to Roy's blindness really got to me. In my opinion, Roy and Ed really do care about and get concerned for each other, even if it doesn't seem like it on the outside.
their relationship is compleatly wierd and loaded, but they are despite everything very iinvested in eachother and care way more than they want to admit to themselfs or the other
I love the symbolism in this show. Al lost his body because he wanted to feel his mothers warmth. Ed lost his leg because he was the oldest and didn't need anyone to help him stand. Izumi lost her womb because she wanted a baby, and lastly Mustang who lost his sight because of his grand visions for Amestris. Epic...
I always assumed that because Mustang was forced to open the Gate, perhaps the Truth went a little easy on him. Like a, "Eh, I won't be a total dick this time," thing. Instead of just ripping his eyeballs out.
As devastating as this scene is it’s actually kind of funny in hindsight. Because he was forced against his will, Truth only took his sight. Not his physical eyes, just his sight and it’s fixed with the help of a philosopher’s stone. Apparently for being a relatively sadistic bastard, even Truth didn’t have the heart to punish someone who hadn’t willfully committed the ultimate taboo with any meaningful consequences. So the blindness wasn’t intended to be permanent, it only stuck around long enough to be a massive inconvenience. I like imagining that Truth was thinking “wow somebody forced you to commit the ultimate sin against your will knowing exactly what would happen? That’s fucked up, I’m going to take the absolute bare minimum from you and it’s not even going to be permanent, have fun not needing transmutation circles!” Roy basically got all the benefits of seeing the truth and almost none of the consequences.
Expanding more on that, in the manga, when he faces Truth, Truth actually speaks up at him instead of just looking and not saying anything, it says "Well, I was hoping this wouldn't happen, but here we are" Truth is cruel, but fair
It seems it’s more likely that the reason his toll was so little was because Truth also took many souls from Pride, who was acting as the transmutation circle. It’s possible that he choose to take the souls from Pride’s philosopher stone because he did have sympathy, but it also could of been for his own reasons and it just worked out for Roy. There is no dialogue in the English translation between the two, so really you can interpret it, whichever one you like better. It’s open ended in that regard.
I mean, Al has all the benefits with not consequences either. They used a philosophers stone to get his eyesight back. It only makes we wonder why there was no way for Hohenheim to bring back Izumis innards, but maybe he just didn't wanna use the souls of his friends for that. In the end, Ed didn't use any others souls either but they probably could've.
Mustang fights the homunculus Lust. End result: BURN 'EM TO A CRISP. Mustang fights the homunculus Envy. End result: BURN 'EM TO A CRISP. Mustang fights the homunculus Wrath...

kylezaking Well, I guess you could see it as going easy on him. His sight was taken away from him because the thing he eanted most was to see his country as führer, so not that good.
kylezaking nah I think loss of eye sight sucks and Ed Lossing his arm/leg (I don't remember) is way better seeing how he's still equally if not better equipped for combat
Henry Nguyen Ed's automail has screwed him over just as often as it's helped him when it comes to combat. It broke in the 5th lab during the fight with the Slicer Bros., it froze up at Briggs, and Capt. Buccaneer completely destroyed it when they first fought. Meanwhile, Mustang was still lighting Father up despite just recently getting his blindness.
I'd say the opposite, I think that aside from Al who lost his whole body, Roy got the heaviest toll. Automail is a perfectly good replacement for lost limbs in the FMA universe. There isn't anything Ed can't do with the automail that he could do with his real limbs aside from having to get tune ups every once in a while. They can still be perfectly independent and do whatever they want. Whereas without his eyesight, it makes Roy very much more dependent on other people for even basic things, he can't even do his alchemy without them, because he can't see where to aim and it would be extremely unlikely anyone would accept a blind man as the leader of the country, he'd almost certainly have had to leave the military as well. I'm quite sure he'd still strive as best as he could but it would definitely make doing even normal things that much harder, never mind the very difficult and political things. Hell he won't even be able to read, he'll have to learn braille(assuming they have it in the FMA universe) and I'd be willing to bet not a whole lot of books are translated into braille in 1915 Amestris, least of all the ones with the sort of information he'd need.
God, Mustang's scream at 2:52 is just agonizing. And him asking where the lights are breaks my heart every time I hear it. The ever so slight tremor in his voice makes it clear he's scared.
This actually worked out better for him because its heavily implied he gets his sight back from the Philosopher's Stone at the end, and since he's encountered the Truth he can perform alchemy easier.

I especially feel horrible for Mustang because EDWARD TOLD HIM WHAT TO EXPECT. When he's there at the gate, he's utterly fucking terrified. He knows what's going to happen. It makes it hurt even more. Not to mention Ed's vaguely-stable father figure being fucking BLIND clearly left him shook.
What really makes your comment hit is that Roy and the Truth never talk to each other as they didn’t need to: Roy KNOWS who the person at the door is and what awaits him, while the Truth knows that Roy knows.
@@LovelyCinccino I know Truth basically always grins like that, but there's something so unsettling about it here, when he doesn't talk. It's like "Anyway, shall we get started?"
In his defense, when he fought bradly, it was when pride was no longer there. He needed a power up and luck to defeat an injured bradly, what did you expect him? To fight the two strongest homoncolus at the same time?
Aw snap snap spark spark it's time to light up the diggy diggy DARK I'm the flame alchemist and I'm gonna be fuhrer. at 1:27 Idk if it was intentional, but notice how Pride attacks the Gold Toothed Doctor when once he starts saying to Bradley that's how he raised him to be. Just one of those small moments of humanity and camraderie between the homunculi.
And Scar just stands there while all of this is happening. Yes, he can destroy the ground where the seal was made, but nah...Let's just see where all of this is going first.
@@auraguard0212 I think he's just pointing out Scar could disrupt Mustang's human transmutation before it really gets going. Course Mei could also probably do it too. Both could safely destroy the transmutation circle.
I know he's the bad guy but I have to say when wrath pinned down mustang with his swords that was badass. That image is forever burned into my mind. This is a great climactic scene in general, congrats to the writers and such.
I aboslutely love the way Knives and Shadows fades in. First strings creep up from the silence, then percussion practically seeps in, *then* the audience realizes it's Pride coming.
This is like, really awkward execution for a plan spanning hundreds of years. Like, you'd think having the sacrifices would be top priority, but they kinda just pull it out of their ass at the last minute.
2 of them are relatives of the protag, one is protag's teacher and the last minute supply is protag's superior. Those homunculi really didn't do their job well, tsk tsk tsk 😂
I mean, Lust already said before that Mustang was chosen to be a sacrifice, although for some reason at that time it seemed like seeing the Gate was unrelated to being a sacrifice narratively.
@@CollinBuckman I mean as early as the 5th laboratory it was implied to be a factor narratively. When Al defends Hawkeye he transmutes without a circle and Lust remarks that he had "opened the gate" and thus could have been a sacrifice.
@@CollinBuckman iirc what Lust said about Mustang (and Al before knowing he had opened the Gate) is 'candidate for sacrifice', not 'sacrifice' itself. I could be wrong, tho
Truth be told [no pun intended] I ragequit the series when Mustang asked Ed how he could see with the lights off... The grief I felt for him.. I haven't felt for an animated character since trunks saw gohan's lifeless corpse way back in the cell saga. Decided to finish this series of course but never has a show made me close it down, close my laptop off & scream in an instant because It. Was. Not. Fair. Goes to show how amazing Brotherhood is and will always be.
I like how Roy was the only one whose punishment was reversible without a massive price to pay or lesson to learn. It only seems fair that Truth would essentially let him off easy since he didn't perform this human transmutation of his own free will.
God. His scream is gorgeous. It really gets me going. It's ironic. So ironic that he lost his sight. And thats why its so hurtful. My feels. Too much feels. A man that envisioned a better future for his country.. can no longer see.
I cried when I saw those gray eyes color instead of those beautiful black eyes, then I realize that he was blind and I remembered that he told envy that he can pinpoint and his aim was pretty amazing... now realize that he wouldn't be available to aim again, was more than heartbreaking tbh :'(
One thing I love about this story is that everything has a purpose. The things that are taken by the Gate are always related to the person; Ed wanted to make his family whole again, and lost his leg that kept him standing(metaphorically and literally), Al wanted to feel whole again and lost his entire being, Izumi wanted a child and lost her reproductive organs (as well as a few important others), and Roy had a vision of being on top to rule the country, and loses his ability to see what becomes
Just finished the whole series again and well, I just realized that Roy, besides opening the gate of truth unwillingly and losing his eyesight as consequence, dude wasn't able to see all the action happening. Like, the history of amestris was going down there and he was one of the few to witness everything from the very center and yet, didn't see a shit of it. I mean, i guess minus the bloodshed and corpses, not seeing history and the truth unfold in front of your eyes when it was literally in front of you, kind of tragic too i think.
This scene always made me a bit uncomfortable because it's really... rape-esque? Like, everyone's reaction is pure horror, it was obviously extremely traumatizing, and everyone accentuates the fact that he "didn't ask for it". All the symbolism is there, and I'm really glad it wasn't made into a joke for the sake of breaking the tension during the final episodes- it was a horrible and violating thing, and it's treated that way.
It remembers me of that scene when Bradley kills that snake girl when she's inside Al, I always looked at it with some kind of forced abortion-esque? Idk, I just felt that, the way everyone is traumatized and how Al "belly" is open and full of blood, and he looks at his hands full of blood too Anyway, this thread is 4 years old, idek why I'm commenting this
@ShadowNny Envy wasnt forced to do something he didnt want to do, he was being repeteadly murdered for killing countless people and starting a war. He was humiliated for being beaten by humans. Roy was forced to do something he didnt want to do, which is rape-esque.
@ShadowNny Dude, WTF? Envy killed Hughes, and he didn't just kill him, he used his wife form to do it, and later he just laughed about it, he killed a child, a freaking child,by using the form of a soilder who hated the war, and laughed at him later, envy got what he deserved
this scene literally crushed my soul. I mean, you think that he's home free when he refuses to do the human transmutation, and they flipping SLIT RIZA'S THROAT, but then panda girl arrives and you think that she's saved, and then there's just THIS. it was to much. these collective events made me cry, laugh with relief, and at this scene, slam my laptop shut and die for about 20 minutes
I wonder if Truth enjoys when people try human transmutation. Like, maybe he’s really bored and his only entertainment is when people show up in his void.
I feel so bad for laughing at every single "I did not see that coming"-joke....but damn, you people are gooood. And yeh I know im late, but it's never too late for FMA.
that it why the truth took only his eye sight and not his eyes. it says so on the fma wiki. no matter what without a phiosopher stone you cant entered without a fee
But...it was selim who had the knowledge of human transmutation. Bradley even said he assimilated the guy. And Bradley backed off before the transmutation happened.
Please, he's way scarier now. He used to be super one-note - he can blow shit up or burn it down. He's capable of more, just like everyone is, but it would be slow. This is an actual limitation because, essentially, it means he has to aim. It's why Bradley was able to dodge him here - he couldn't just set everything in front of him on fire, it had to be at the right distance to not kill him too. After this, he can make *walls* on the fly, and he doesn't need line of sight.
Out of all the things that happen in this show, this one of the biggest shocks to me. Something about people losing their eyesight is so devastating, especially by how Roy reacted, how he kept looking for the lights...damn
Mustang nearly loses sight of himself trying to kill Envy, only to actually lose his sight because of Father’s Machinations. The symbolism and foreshadowing was always phenomenal with this show.
+virus4812 If you think about it, Mustang ultimately ends up paying the smallest price, and even after, he has Hawkeye to support him to overcome the weakness.
Vision is processed in the Occipital Lobe at the back of our brain; notice where Roy Mustang places his hand after he’s flung back into the real world.
Jokes on the Homunculus, they only ended up making Mustang more dangerous, and he didn't even have to live with his disability that long! No wonder Truth smiled at Mustang when they met, he was probably grinning at the thought of the subversion he was about to pull against Father and the Homunculus!
Then he gets his eyesight back in the end which, combined with being able to do alchemy without a transmutation circle, effectively makes him the most powerful alchemist in the show
Mustang, caught up in his vision for the future, his vision was the toll to gain the knowledge of alchemy. Then he just yeeted that with a philosophers stone and fixed his eyes. Now he has every working part of his body and every kind of alchemy. Goated next Fuhrer

@@LovelyCinccino I know Truth basically always grins like that, but there's something so unsettling about it here, when he doesn't talk. It's like "Anyway, shall we get started?"
Man wonder why scar was just standing there. "Ill fight him later"
ReservedSeating did you see what was going on?
Scar aint trying to get between that lol
He wasn't expecting Colonel to loose, and he was just trying to get Risa to a safe place so he wasn't ready
He's doing what every smart black guy would do not get in the middle of it the fuck? 😂😂😂
In his defense, when he fought bradly, it was when pride was no longer there. He needed a power up and luck to defeat an injured bradly, what did you expect him? To fight the two strongest homoncolus at the same time?
"Move back Wrath, now" *Walks Forward*
“FullMetal, I don’t how you can expect to see my condition when it’s this dark in here.”
My jaw dropped in shock once he lost sight in his eyes...
Even though this Bradley cannot regenerate he is much more powerful than his 03 portrayal.
That's because he compensates by being extremely badass.
Kermit F this Bradley would tear 03 bradley to pieces without giving him a chance to regenerate 😂😂😂
eye didn't see that coming.
Get out.
miannae MSP fuck you
Oh your fucking puns
So much for his grand vision.
But truth be told I like your dark sense of humor, making light of a situation like this.
I feel bad, but this is one of my favorite moments in Brotherhood.
Same 😍
Aw snap snap spark spark it's time to light up the diggy diggy DARK I'm the flame alchemist and I'm gonna be fuhrer. My beats are hot, but my rhymes are purer, I like the ladies in the mini-skirts, I be posin' in the mirror without my fancy shirts, I'm gonna set'cha heart on fire whoosh whoosh and you know my heart burns bright too kaboom kaboom, my fire power tonight is feelin' just right kablam kablam! *sexy ass beat boxing*
wtf XD
still can't bleave he actually says that
When does he say this? XD
in the blooper reel
+Secret Sisters search for fma koma theatre (or something like that😅), they're really funny😂

Idk if it was intentional, but notice how Pride attacks the Gold Toothed Doctor when once he starts saying to Bradley that's how he raised him to be. Just one of those small moments of humanity and camraderie between the homunculi.
Huge shoutout to Travis Willinghan for killing it with the voice acting.
And Scar just stands there while all of this is happening. Yes, he can destroy the ground where the seal was made, but nah...Let's just see where all of this is going first.
Alteric Jeske Pride would have raped his shit
Remember that Father is immaterial until he makes himself that body of his.
Goddamnit Scar
@@auraguard0212 I think he's just pointing out Scar could disrupt Mustang's human transmutation before it really gets going. Course Mei could also probably do it too. Both could safely destroy the transmutation circle.
Be for real, scar and mei would die against wrath, and with pride also there, there was no chance
I know he's the bad guy but I have to say when wrath pinned down mustang with his swords that was badass. That image is forever burned into my mind. This is a great climactic scene in general, congrats to the writers and such.
Bradley is the first man to dodge an explosion!!!
I aboslutely love the way Knives and Shadows fades in. First strings creep up from the silence, then percussion practically seeps in, *then* the audience realizes it's Pride coming.
God, Riza, so professional! He's most likely going to die, the least you can do is call him Roy.
I mean when she was dying Roy didn’t call her by her name either
Their ship name is not royai. It’s whatever you get from mixing ‘lieutenant’ and ‘colonel’.
@@LordUzaki I'm pretty sure Lust says that Al is a sacrifice before noticing he can transmutate without a circle, tho.
Doesn't he eventually get his sight back since he saw The Truth against his will?
Lmao i watched this show like a year ago now and almost gave it up for the exact same reason.
@@Fanimati0n I think he didn't get his vision back because of Truth, it was apparently thanks to Doc Marco and his philosopher's stone
man really screamed
Jesus how sensitive are you that a fucking fictional character made you drop an anime like that
I like how Roy was the only one whose punishment was reversible without a massive price to pay or lesson to learn. It only seems fair that Truth would essentially let him off easy since he didn't perform this human transmutation of his own free will.
Seeing riza cry out for mustang was depressing.
As someone who briefly lost their sight before, this scene hits so much harder now. The loss of sight so abruptly is so jarring.
Such a well written scene. The way he and others discover the fact that he lost is sight is brilliant. 10/10
All aboard the feels train...
The feels on the bus go round and round....
chooooooooooot...
God. His scream is gorgeous. It really gets me going.
It's ironic. So ironic that he lost his sight. And thats why its so hurtful. My feels. Too much feels.
A man that envisioned a better future for his country.. can no longer see.
that's the point. truth gives them a befitting punishment so they don't get concieted. the thing they sought after, they lose
Alchemic rape, people! It's not a joke!
god dammit. I was crying and now I just-...wow omg XD
+tawnyflower678
It most certainly is not a joke, trust me. I know better than anyone.
+Colonel Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist common roy, you gotta stop....looking in the past, maybe you should open your eyes, and see the future.
+Kaneki Ken such a dark joke man, i mean at least give him something better to look at than trump....oh wait...
Kaneki Ken
....I can't see shit at the moment.
i cried during this part of the anime
Tamaki you always cry, (cuz your profile pic ;))
leskelle there is plenty of emotional moments in this version of FMA.
These scenes aint one of em for me lol
I cried when I saw those gray eyes color instead of those beautiful black eyes, then I realize that he was blind and I remembered that he told envy that he can pinpoint and his aim was pretty amazing... now realize that he wouldn't be available to aim again, was more than heartbreaking tbh :'(
"The lights, w-where are the lights??!"
okay seriously...... that moment killed me!
I mean, i guess minus the bloodshed and corpses, not seeing history and the truth unfold in front of your eyes when it was literally in front of you, kind of tragic too i think.
that scream he let out when the transmutation started was so haunting omg
The haunting music that plays as soon as we realize he was blinded is just so frightening. It’s perfect.
Idk, I just felt that, the way everyone is traumatized and how Al "belly" is open and full of blood, and he looks at his hands full of blood too
Anyway, this thread is 4 years old, idek why I'm commenting this
@ShadowNny Envy wasnt forced to do something he didnt want to do, he was being repeteadly murdered for killing countless people and starting a war. He was humiliated for being beaten by humans. Roy was forced to do something he didnt want to do, which is rape-esque.
ShadowNny so he deserves justice after killing mustangs best friend❓ and it’s wrong for mustang to want revenge ❓😂
why the fuck are yall talking about rape what the fuck-
@ShadowNny Dude, WTF?
"The lights, where are the lights?!"
I like how you can hear the panic starting to slowly creep in as he starts to realize what has really happened.
2:52 holy fucking shit that scream was soul tearing
also envy's screams when he's burning to death
I wonder if Truth enjoys when people try human transmutation. Like, maybe he’s really bored and his only entertainment is when people show up in his void.
I feel so bad for laughing at every single "I did not see that coming"-joke....but damn, you people are gooood.
And yeh I know im late, but it's never too late for FMA.
FMAB*
I call shenanigans on Pride. Roy was forced to commit human transmutation by Pride. Damn cheating homunculi.
that it why the truth took only his eye sight and not his eyes. it says so on the fma wiki. no matter what without a phiosopher stone you cant entered without a fee
Quinntus79 it's wrath pride is the 2003 version.
I was talking about Selim who is Pride in FMA Brotherhood.
Quinntus79 bradley forced Roy to do human transmutation not selim. Is it so hard to admit that you got it incorrect?
But...it was selim who had the knowledge of human transmutation. Bradley even said he assimilated the guy. And Bradley backed off before the transmutation happened.
2:51 That SCREAM!
I can't even get close to imagining how painful it must have been...
ConnorDarkrule77 Just so PERFECT Voice acting! I really love the dub version
So basically the homunculus nerfed Roy Mustang because he was too OP
They spent the entire series nerfing him because he could of killed them all
@@stanozoidmega7762 Bradley while injured bodied Mustang
Mustang is a threat to the others but not Bradley
Please, he's way scarier now. He used to be super one-note - he can blow shit up or burn it down. He's capable of more, just like everyone is, but it would be slow. This is an actual limitation because, essentially, it means he has to aim. It's why Bradley was able to dodge him here - he couldn't just set everything in front of him on fire, it had to be at the right distance to not kill him too. After this, he can make *walls* on the fly, and he doesn't need line of sight.
This scene is fantastic, and the haunting score just brings it all together
okay but i cried every second of this goddamned show
Out of all the things that happen in this show, this one of the biggest shocks to me. Something about people losing their eyesight is so devastating, especially by how Roy reacted, how he kept looking for the lights...damn
God damn the VO for Roy killed it
Travis was amazing
Mustang nearly loses sight of himself trying to kill Envy, only to actually lose his sight because of Father’s Machinations. The symbolism and foreshadowing was always phenomenal with this show.
what the hell "truth"? Roy was forced in to it he didn't choose to go through the gate so i think that constitutes a free pass!
+DayOfTheColossus not really. Truth is supposed to know everything
***** well he is god after all
***** yes it is. but it's cool as hell
+virus4812 If you think about it, Mustang ultimately ends up paying the smallest price, and even after, he has Hawkeye to support him to overcome the weakness.
***** true but fighting blind was really cool thou
Vision is processed in the Occipital Lobe at the back of our brain; notice where Roy Mustang places his hand after he’s flung back into the real world.
It's even more sad to see him trip and Ed just instantly knows
He can't see at all now
It's heart breaking to see your favorite character, one of the strongest, stumble around... Oh my god, Colonel....
Jokes on the Homunculus, they only ended up making Mustang more dangerous, and he didn't even have to live with his disability that long! No wonder Truth smiled at Mustang when they met, he was probably grinning at the thought of the subversion he was about to pull against Father and the Homunculus!
don't you hate when the ceiling starts jizzing nightmares.
Nobody:
Mustang: Yo who turned off the lights??
To be honest, I started openly wailing as soon as he dropped the fact 'it was dark' and I just- Oh my gosh. That hit me like a ton of bricks.
This brings back memories ... Got to watch it and feel it and live it.. all over again.
Then he gets his eyesight back in the end which, combined with being able to do alchemy without a transmutation circle, effectively makes him the most powerful alchemist in the show
Al can do the same thing. And Izumi too.
Mustang, caught up in his vision for the future, his vision was the toll to gain the knowledge of alchemy. Then he just yeeted that with a philosophers stone and fixed his eyes. Now he has every working part of his body and every kind of alchemy. Goated next Fuhrer
😌👌🏿💯💯💯💯
To think that Pride lost because he thought he could rob Roy's sight and live with the consequences...
Bradley didn't even give Mustang 10 seconds to fight back, what a monster!
Good, good. Tear my heart out why don't you that's totally cool.
maaaaaan lust was so wrong about her saying she was so excited to see roy’s eyes wide with agony. goddamnit lust!
"The lights, where are the lights?''
THAT PART KILLED ME😭
Remember what lust said “I can’t wait to see your eyes filled with agony”
Friend 3: Hey, Wendy! So how was your-
Me: HOLY FRICKLE DOODLES MUSTANG OPENED THE PORTAL AND NOW HE'S BLIND HE'S F*****ING BLIND
Friend 3: Calm down, Wendy... What are you-
Me: YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!! THIS IS A MATTER BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH HE'S A SACRIFICE NOW AND OMG
Friend 3: It's okay.... Musang will be okay
Me: IT'S *MUSTANG*!!!!!!!!! *COLONEL ROY MUSTANG* GET IT RIGHT
domoclint May I clarify that the term weeaboo means: Someone who has given up their own culture and tries to be Japanese when they're really not. Weeaboo does not mean "someone who likes anime." Also, the first step of being a weeaboo is believing that anime and manga are the only things associated with Japan, and since you just called me out on being a weeaboo, you've basically done just that. Yikes, looks like you're the real weeb here
domoclint That's not weeaboo lmao
domoclint I'm a female
domoclint I don't know why you're disappointed in me. I would be disappointed in you at calling me a weeb for 1 joke about my favorite cartoon. You can't do anything these days without someone ruining it.
domoclint there it is again. calling me a weeaboo for no reason.
And I quote the wonderful band (or artist, I'm not sure), Mother Mother: "TAKE MY EYES, TAKE THEM ASIDE"
this episode is so haunting and i love it
Lust: "I can't wait to see the day those eyes will be full of anguish", kinda ironic his eyes became hollow
I LOVE the fact Bradley doesn't waste ANY time and always goes for the kill that was badass af 😱
I'm sorry but that fade to black was just- really fucking funny
I swear to god Pride makes the best entrances
this would've been more sad if mustang tried to transmute fire to try to see a little but couldn't and he would be very confused
Didn't see that coming.
I see what you did there...or maybe not.
Probably the most watched anime for me that I can watch over and over again every year. The story. The music especially. And the powers are cool as well.
For those wondering, Mustang losing his sight is more philosophical in its meaning. Sight in my opinion ain't that bad to loose when at the gate.
I mean limbs can be replaced with auto-mail meanwhile sight
"Where are the lights?" Those words punch me in the gut everytime
Me: *watches the episode where Roy kills Lust*
Lust: I'll wait for the day those eyes grow wide in agony...
Me: Okay, cool. *gets to this episode*
Also me: Wait a GOSH DANG MINUTE-
Just finished rewatching the series for the upteenbillionth time. God, it just gets better each time
