Nice one Lydia. Alex is an amazing Chef. Absolute master of technical cooking. This is exactly what I want to eat when going out paying big money for a meal. Something special which I can never recreate at home.
I'm going to London in a few weeks and picked this restaurant for our special Saturday night dinner next month because of your video! I was searching online on how the vibe was and wanted something special for my 1st time in London (+bday celebration!). I'm so excited!
@@LydiaCLinzi Just got back from London and this place was such a great dining experience! After the dinner, they led us to the kitchen for some chit chat w/ the chef and they had taken a Polaroid picture of us + the chef for a souvenir
Wow thanks for sharing ! I'm glad you enjoyed the meal and your time there. Let me know if you discover some other lovely restaurants in your travel other parts of the world too@@GoldenRetriever.Jr.
Looked a great meal, it was clear from your face how much you were enjoying it! I think two stars is a bit of a sweet spot - I've only been disappointed in a two star once and that has since been downgraded to just the one I felt it deserved anyway.
Yea indeed, I love it. Also because it was a sunny day here : ) I think a good meal has a lot to do with the whole thing , how they make you feel and how you feel that day. But this is a great one, will recommend. same like two stars ⭐️ feel free to let me know any recommendations!
@@LydiaCLinzi I've enjoyed quite a few in London, but with possibly the most iconic restaurant there (Le Gavroche) closing in January, you should definitely try to get there if you haven't been. A bit more classical French than I would usually go for, but it has a great soufflé that's been on the menu almost since the beginning and the best cheese board I've ever seen!

Hey thanks for the thoughts. Always great to know what other people think about the restaurants I like : )
I usually wait for a place to show retention of stars before dining there, but I'll make an exception. Thank you very much for this video.
Thank you! Glad you like it!
Truly delightful. I don't think it will be too long until it gets a 3rd star.
Yea maybe! Will have to go and check it out soon!

Lydia has to learn from her friend a bit of dining etiquette. I noticed she was going to leave her fork on the table.
Lost Me at Sweetbreads!
