Those are some really nice looking pieces of Walnut on that thing. If that's a new gun that high quality of furniture must have cost a lot of money these days.
Looks practical now that it has an rail for optics and a red dot, and that awful Cresent butt stock has been addressed. This is now an field rifle and more than an curiosity piece.
Not a big fan of putting a scope on these leverguns, but the scout scope is a nice setup, especially if you don't have young eyes anymore and need a scope. Well done!
Me neither but in Wayne’s Que so he’s never hunted or use the gun that didn’t have a scope and he’s not familiar with alternative style sights and he said his eyes just don’t see a good team
@@Leverguns50 I know what you mean. After 45 years of using leverguns with open sights I finally broke down and bought a scoped bolt action in 30-06 for longer range hunting. It's a new Winchester model 70.
I bought a Henry 41 mag to go with my Ruger Blackhawk 41 mag but the Henry is color case hardened has that dark English walnut stock set on the ejector side it has deer head engraved and on the opposite side has a boar head both are gold inlayed, octagon barrel,I just sold a old 50 Alaskan marlin take down rifle shot good but ammo was a pain,
@@Leverguns50 i have a marlin 1894 in 41 mag also but when I seen that Henry with the case hardened receiver I had to have it,I put in a order for one in 35 Remington but the 35 with case hardened is a 7 month wait
Absolutely a beautiful rifle. That scope just seems so out of place. I appreciate scopes with my older eyes but I can still shoot peeps pretty well. Thanks for the shoulder work.
Not really if you think about it it's in the Hunter set up scout style besides one day you'll came to appreciate when Yu our eye sight is not optimum !

Starline makes the brass both buffalo arms and grizzly ammo load cartridges for it, but just like everything else components are hard to find right now

The 41 magnum has always been a really cool caliber, that’s kind of a rare caliber now, it’s really nice day Henry makes guns in that caliber
