Seriously. My previous 2013 C63 & now E63 Biturbo both will take a full 2 seconds to downshift if I mash it while in Comfort mode vs S or S+ would be immediate.

Tesla moves only 0.2 seconds after the Mercedes (he moved before her arms were even down) and the BMW has the worst reaction, moving 0.12 seconds after the Tesla. Remember that the Model 3 is more sluggish off the line than a Model S because the main motor is a PMM, it has a little delay from slamming the throttle to full power.
@@xeigen2 Pretty sure they are supposed to go when her hands begin to move downward so no issue with when the merc moved off, think it'd make more sense to have a v box or something measure real times and exclude reactions entirely, this probably makes a fair better video though so who can blame them

Not really... The Merc moves first (before her arms are even down), Tesla moves 5 frames later (0.2 seconds) and the BMW moves 3 frames (0.12 seconds) after that. The Model 3 is more sluggish off the line than a Model S, the main motor is a PMM which has a bit of lag in the throttle response from a dead stop. As for the SoC, seems to be around 80%? Which delivers barely any less power than 100%.
@@xeigen2 You can start moving when the hands start going down, you don't have to wait before the hands are completely down. If you play it at 0,25 you can see that the merc started when the hands where like halfway.
Nice to see the consistency because here the Tesla Model 3 did the 1/4 mile in 11.8 seconds here, and it also did 11.8 seconds in your test against the Audi RS4 and BMW M3! 😎👍🏼

The E63s rival is the F90 M5 CP. The M8 is a huge coupe and the correct rival for it would be the S63 Coupe.
Proper comparison is Audi rs3 and bmw m3. Model 3 is 3 series competitor, not 5 series or E class
