The F90 is truly an insane vehicle, and that is about to be ruined with stupid hybrid setups. The next M5 will be a heavy pig just like the new AMG Hybrids and basically lose everything that makes the F90 great.

However on the roll the BMW an benz are all underrated power figures, audi is pretty much on par with stated numbers which once again proves audis superiority at puttin power down. On even playing field audi is superior quattro awd. Far more capable company. By the way audi r8 v10 plus takes care of any bmw. And with an honest 610hp a supercar indeed. 0-60 in 2.6 secs an quarter mile 10.6s proven many times. Now overall faster car audi an bmw doesnt come close to mercedes. As a BMW fan, I was nervous when watching this considering the tough competition. M power pulled through but just barely which goes to show how amazing all these cars are.
The RS6 Performance launch is really aggressive, just shot through off the line like a bullet, for the weight on that car, it's pretty impressive. That M5 is powerful 👏🏾

I find it so funny that literally every journalist doesn't know that going into drive and moving 1 foot then back to nuetral or park disables soft limiter...Also on F10 and newer you can use cruise up and down to adjust launch RPM
I rewatched the race a number of times and can't help but think, Audi could've done more to shed some weight. The roof, boot lid and doors could've been swapped to carbon fibre and they could've used lighter seats with manual adjustment and probably a lighter exhaust system. Even with the RS6 GT, there wasn't as much weight taken from as there could've been. Their goal should have been under 2000kg.
What about a split between wagon/avant and limousines? Would be a cool comparison to see the RS7 Performance vs. these two and then a drag race of the E63S Wagon vs RS6 Performance and then the new M5 wagon when it launches :D
There won't be an M5 wagon, BMW has confirmed that they will not be making another M wagon in the foreseeable future. And the E-Class Wagon is also canceled after this generation.

@user-zj2gm7de4q M5 CS still beats the Etron GT. As for the R8 V10 Performance, when driven correctly aka having it in the correct power band, it's still a force to be reckoned with but that would be a good race to see on here as I have yet to even see one to begin with

I find it so funny that literally every journalist doesn't know that going into drive and moving 1 foot then back to nuetral or park disables soft limiter...Also on F10 and newer you can use cruise up and down to adjust launch RPM

I just love the RS6 now and before ! It’s a gorgeous family car .
I rewatched the race a number of times and can't help but think, Audi could've done more to shed some weight. The roof, boot lid and doors could've been swapped to carbon fibre and they could've used lighter seats with manual adjustment and probably a lighter exhaust system. Even with the RS6 GT, there wasn't as much weight taken from as there could've been. Their goal should have been under 2000kg.
What about a split between wagon/avant and limousines? Would be a cool comparison to see the RS7 Performance vs. these two and then a drag race of the E63S Wagon vs RS6 Performance and then the new M5 wagon when it launches :D
RS7 would be better against an M8 Gran Coupe and AMG GT63 though, no?

There won't be an M5 wagon, BMW has confirmed that they will not be making another M wagon in the foreseeable future. And the E-Class Wagon is also canceled after this generation.

Great comment. I have always had that opinion. I never like comparing BMW Vs Merc Vs Audi. They are all great in their own respect. Any car enthusiast would say the same.
As an Audi fan, I am glad to see that rs6 perf. is keeping up with its competitors.
It is still the slowest one. Real word performance(rolling races) are just showing it. Merc with almost 20hp less is still a faster car.

As an Volkswagen/Audi fan, i would say that all these care are GREAT. But if Audi had like 150kg less, i think it would be like lined up with BMW, btw i really hope that one they we are gonna see the RS7 perf, M5 comp lci, and 2023 facelift GT63s but not e performance.
