Yes, I was lucky enough to be able to get this on that Amazon lightning deal for about $170. Which this is probably the only time I'll ever be so excited for anything MMPR again lol besides the Boom Comics because those are amazing.
So I got mine for $299 exactly (entertainment earth had free shipping lol) but its definitely my favorite version of the megazord. The Pterodactyl takes some getting use to but once you got it, you got it. Some minor nitpicks, ya gotta push the thighs in and pull a peg out in the Saber- toothed Tiger in order for it to stand better and I think u gotta switch the legs but maybe that's just me. Its still the better one of the 4 (including the 2010 version) we've gotten. I want more!!
My favorite Version of Daijujin aka Season 1 Megazord is the Original 1992 or 1993 Recipe Daijujin cuz I'm a 90s person (NOT 2009-2010s version, NOT even 2000s or before 80s).
It's because you're not aligning the legs properly that's why it looks wobbly. The upper legs shift from left to right to facilitate the tank mode. You need to set them back in place in Megazord mode to stabilize it. Mine does not have problems with dynamic poses.
Too bad those aren't really available here in Germany. Luckily I still have all my original Mega Zords from the Zordon Era (except the last two From Space Zords or whatever they were) that were released when the show first aired here.
SoC toys unless there is a reprint or revision the value will rise. You can still get him brand new for about $240 from Japan versus spending now upwards of $300 for the Legacy Megazord which is vastly inferior.
Hey, you and every other online review of this version has the shoulder pads sticking out during tank mode. Is that a flaw in the directions or does the shoulder pad folding prevent it from being placed back down the way it generally is during tank mode and MegaDragonzord/Ultrazord formation?
Actually in the show it is folded out like that, however the Rex was not at the right angle for the tank its supposed to lean forward a bit but I also don’t know if this figure can even do that

Soul of Chogokin aka SOC imo is the better looking Daizyujin/Dino Megazord despite the fact ZAP is designed after Zyuranger concept art. Personally, if you've never owned any Dino Megazord, ZAP is a pretty good alternative
After having both the Z.A.P line and this line as well as the legacy line, MY advice is first get the S.O.C line above anything. It's hands down the best line out. Second is the legacy line, but I highly recommend only getting the black and gold series since it's different and certainly help contrast. I got the B&G legacy line, the black S.O.C Megazord as well as the entire S.O.C megazord line with Dragonzord and Titanus. Looks so good in contrast to the B&G and vice versa

You mistransformed tank mode ....... There is an extra knee joint above the normal knee of the T rex, that bends in the opposite direction. Needed to make the tank mode lean forward correctly and not look so god damn dumb. Frustrated with 100% of the video reviewers not reading the instructions and doing this mode incorrectly. Original 93 had these extra knee joints, the legacy skipped it, but the SoC brought it back.

It strictly appeala to Americans who grew up in the 90's on MMPR....of course reverse-weebs from Japan wouldn't understand why a middle-of-the-series arch like Zyuranger is so beloved, but for us it was the FIRST Power Rangers experience we had, and it skewed highly from the Super Sentai timeline once Murica got its hands on it. XD

Some Random Guy Mini-Pla Megazord seriously disappointed me when I saw the price. Gundam kits of comparable size and complexity cost half as much. For once, I can say with certainty that Bandai is officially overpricing this stuff on purpose.
I am not sure I want to afford him, but it looks like it's an alternate version of the megazord. I find the other 2 look more like the TV. If it was about $130..I would get it.

Super Robot Chogokin is the 6in non transforming megazords that Tamashii made. I have that thing and love it.

The smaller one was in the Super Robot Chogokin line and the SoC figure can pose just as well as the smaller SRC toy.

As much as I'd love this thing, I almost would rather have the MiniPla version (though I'd prefer to pay $30-$40 instead of $60).
