  • Chemical Guys makes it easy to clean your dirty glass with minimal effort and no streaks. Foam is not only for cannons anymore, the Glass Only Glass Cleaner uses foam to lift and lubricate any dirt to truly get all the contaminants off your glass.Dirty glass not only looks awful but it is also dangerous. Dirt, water spots, bird droppings and filth distort clarity that reduces driver visibility.
    Chemical Guys Glass Only Glass Cleaner that foams to gently loosen grime, tree sap and bird droppings to improve shine and clarity. Never mind the fact that it's completely simple and only requires one or two wipes to get the perfect shine and clarity. If you're like us, you want everything to be perfectly clean, the quickest way possible. Use the Glass Only Glass Cleaner to make life easier on you and keep you safe with clear windows to not obstruct your vision while you drive.
    After thoroughly decontaminating with a Clay Block and Luber we add a coat of JetSeal to repel UV rays, resist water spots and prevent bird droppings, dust and dead bugs from clinging to the surface; keeping glass looking cleaner for longer!

    So I applied Jet Seal on my front window after following your cleaning steps. At the first rain, I thought “yea it’s ok” not being overly impressed. Then I was driving on the highway and got hit with a wall of water from a truck going past me, before the wiper sensors could react the water had already beaded. Wow! I’m impressed

    Just used jet seal for the first time on a white focus ST we did a video on. Pennsylvania winters can be extremely tough on a vehicles paint, however after a layer of EZ creme and a coat of jet seal, you can immediately tell the difference. Water and dirt basically bead off the paint now. Amazing stuff guys!

    Good info. My only issue is the water pouring at the end: on the unpolished side you poured from about 6-8 inches high, creating much more splashing and finer drops; on the polished side you poured from about 2 inches, creating lower splashing.
    I'll still probably clean my windows this way.

    I had been watching a few of Chemical Guys videos, then went to the site and thought some of the products were a little overpriced..Went to Walmart to get some cleaners for the car and saw that Wally World carried some of Chemical Guys products..One of my favorite cleaners is Turtle Wax Dash and Glass...I saw Chemical Guy’s Total Interior, which does the same but was $5.00 more than the Dash and Glass...I must say that the Total Interior was well worth the cost and performs a helluva lot better than the dash and Glass which can get fussy to work with at times....I’m a believer now.. GREAT product!

    I still can't get over the BGM......how about trying jazz?
    I usually wash my ride once/week or every other week depending on whether it rains, so the outside of the windshield stays clean. I tried Rain-X's washer fluid additive only to find it little effective.
    The problem is INSIDE the windshield. I followed ChrisFix's instructions, but I still get traces when it gets humid. I've also tried "Streak free" products, only to get disappointed. Microfiber towels didn't help, either. Is a flame thrower the only alternative left for me...?

      ChrisFix does have an incredibly thorough window detailing video. If I recall correctly he mentions the interior side of the windshield gets cloudy from the out gassing of the plastic dash. Perhaps more prominent in your vehicle or maybe try switching up the type of dash cleaner you use?

      Hi Adolfo, good question. In this video, Nick uses a Clay Block rather than a Clay Bar. A Clay Block is essentially a synthetic clay bar. It has some unique benefits to it over a clay bar. For example, you don't have to throw it away when dropped on the ground and also, it will last much longer than a traditional clay bar. Which one you choose is personal preference. About your water spots- have you tried Water Spot Remover yet? That would be the first step in your water spot removal process. Thanks for watching, Adolfo, and thanks for being a part of the Chemical Guys family!

      @damnwereinatightspot 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      99% of the time; only use fresh, not recycled air. Recycled cabin air will trap moisture inside. Either from dew point or brought in as wet shoes, wet hair or even when you exhale, the humidity will increase thus attaching as fog to a cool surface like a windshield.
      Tip: When either defrost or defrost/floor is selected, the AC pump will run, which in turn dehumidifies regardless of temperature settings. AC is can be used as dry heat too, not just cold.
      The other 1%, when someone farts.

    If your car is a few years old, do you need to buff it before using the Jet seal?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Alex! Before any polishing or sealing, we recommend clay baring the surface of the vehicle. Clay baring the vehicle will remove all the contamination and deliver a smooth surface. After the vehicle is contamination free, you may polish or seal your vehicle. When the surface of the vehicle is contamination free glazes, sealants, and waxes bond better to the paint and last longer. If the vehicles paint is oxidized, we recommend polishing to enhance the shine of the paint and then seal. If the vehicle's paint is still in good condition, proceed with Jet Seal. Thanks for watching and thanks for being part of the Chemical Guys family!

    Whenever I put jet seal on my truck it never wipes off that easily. Especially if I use it on glass. It leaves a film that you have to scrub pretty hard to get off. I am making sure that I apply a thin coat so I do not understand why it's so hard to remove

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Make sure you applying JetSeal in a garage, out of the direct sunlight, when the paint is cool to the touch. Make sure to leave JetSeal on for only 15 minutes, then wipe off with a quality and clean microfiber towel. Finally make sure the surface is fully decontaminated and smooth to the touch. If the surface is rough to the touch, you will want to use a clay bar to decontaminate the car before applying JetSeal for best results and easiest application.
