Hey thanks Juan mine auto dins from time to time randomly making it really dark I turned it in this morning it was way to dark had to get close to see it then I just did the 60 Seconds unplugged and it worked appreciate it!
I used to have to turn my TV on, then wait for it to say "No Signal", turn it off, and then back on and THEN Roku would display. After unplugging it for 60 seconds, that seems to have worked. Thanks for the video. Great stuff.
My problem not addressed here. When I turn the TV with ROKU on I can see all the apps and so forth its when I hit play for a show or movie that the screen goes black. I can hear what's going on just no picture. Any ideas?
Mine isn't black, just insanely dim. I've tried going through all the settings and I can't seem to get it fixed. I've even put the brightness all the way up. I've tried updating it. I've tried to unplugging it and plugging it back in. It was working a few hours ago.

I have a regular DLB tubed tv, in good shape by Sony, I installed that Rocku lil black to it 4 months ago, but these last 45 days the screen blacks out for a few seconds...I have that connection to Video 3 of my tv and Video 1 to my Spectrum cable for regular TV. May you assistn and welcome your blessed 'Good Samaritan' knowledge input?
Not sure if it's the bulb. We have given our TV a full power cycle (unplug from electricity for couple of days, then hold power button before you plug it back in). It does come back for couple of days, then have the same issue again you described. Very sure it's not the bulbs. This is very common issue with Roku and FireTVs, so most likely is a software issue. If anyone found a resolution, please post it

Pressed reset many times unplugged many times. Nothing. So the backlight is burntout. Pictures there sounds there but it's practically black. I just bought this Hisense Roku 75"when my house was finished it will be two years 1st February. It is a smart tv, have gone thru all your steps..nothing! Have sound but a black screen. Can you help me? When I called Hisense they said unless I have the sales receipt they cannot issue a repair ticket. I just turned 74 & this is my only entertainment!
None of this works and its not even that old of a TV this is bs why couldnt they just keep the older tvs instead but no they have to create this junk. I can't afford a new one not now and not in the future.

Could the bulbs have gone out? We have a 55 inch and it flashes the roku logo and then it's dark. It also flashes very dim when it does it
