Had the G502 Proteus Spectrum (predecessor to the Hero) and honestly, it changed my perception of mice. For people with big heavy hands, a heavier mouse is easier to control. It's harder to make precise movements with an ultra light mouse. Currently using the G604 and Corsair Dark Core RGB SE. Both are incredible

I had it for a while. It’s not for palm grippers and guys who have baseball mits for hands. Its a very solid, very accurate mouse. I’d easily say it’s a 10/10. I just can’t get comfortable with hands for it

If you want the Razer version of this mose, go for razer basilisk v3. It's very neat and a few things are even better. Only downside is the weight which you cant modify like on this mouse. Everything else is equally good or better in my opinion
I'm so rough on my stuff that I wore down the bottom skates. Glass skates are an upgrade, added a custom configuration for the switches (light switch for aiming heavier for shooting... I had trigger discipline issues.... Had) and a vinyl skin creates a stylish looking premium grip. Fell in love with this mouse twice
I have both the g502 and the g502 x. Get the x. It doesn't have the weights or the rbg (the x plus version does have the rgb) but the buttons next to the left mouse are FAR easier to press. Which is esp nice for gaming. On my g502 it's kind awkward to press them but on the x version it's super easy, slide your finger to the left and you can easily press both of them because they are slightly angeled up. While the regular version is angeled down. Also, the g502 is by far the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. Poeple are obsessed with those fugly ultra light mice that look like cheap laptop mice you take with you in a laptop bag. But they got nothing on the g502 in comfort and usability Also, before I got my g502 I thought the scrollwheel would be useless. Bro it's absolutely fantastic scrolling through pages and text etc. It's kinda like how you swipe on a touch screen and the screen keeps scrolling, only you swipe the scroll wheel. EDIT (I have a basilisk x, it has a very similar design but despite that it just isn't as comfortable and nice in my hand)
The g502 is great the things people say are bad such being heavy and small size is bs and u can get used to very easily but the too many buttons is true and u might accidentally click a button
after 3 years of normal use (8 to 10 hours a day) the battery died and the mouse won't turn on. Maybe that I should have used a wired mouse for desktop use and only the wireless for gaming, but it still feels like it's a pretty short lifespan. I have a razer wired mouse that lasted more than 10 years with daily use.
Disclaimer: I'm a software developer and I generally stay in front of a computer for 13 hours per day. After 2 years, my G502 Lightspeed SUFFERS from the double click issue and the rubber sides are totally consumed. Rubber is NEVER a good option.

I hqd this one for 2-3 years. Flawless. Now i have the wireless one (proteus spectrum). It double and triple clicks like crazy after only 1 year. Logitech should put some quality switches, considering the price tag.
Been looking at a bunch of videos and reddit posts. Might make the jump since every mouse that I've had always gives me issues after a year of use. Either the cable starts to have connection issues or the buttons start to double click or even worse registers like 5 clicks at once.

not even a year using it, and already regret buying it, everything is perfect, except the scroll wheel, that Scrolls too much and is a bit slippery; the feel and texture, if your hands are wet, it feels weird and uncomfortable; and the custom software tends to bug and not open, a lot, which makes me have to turn off my laptop every time it happens, also low customizable lights.

I mean honestly I have to say with the logitech mx master Wireless mouse It's always good even if you don't buy a gameing mouse . Logitech company is much better the battery last long so good company. I even dropped it couple of times nothing happened to it. It should come preprogrammed with 5 different dpi settings. 1 of those is 800 I think but it will be impossible to tell without checking the software. If you turn on the onboard memory setting in the software you can set it up how you want and then save it to the mouse onboard memory and close the app.

I'm so rough on my stuff that I wore down the bottom skates. Glass skates are an upgrade, added a custom configuration for the switches (light switch for aiming heavier for shooting... I had trigger discipline issues.... Had) and a vinyl skin creates a stylish looking premium grip. Fell in love with this mouse twice

I have both the g502 and the g502 x. Get the x. It doesn't have the weights or the rbg (the x plus version does have the rgb) but the buttons next to the left mouse are FAR easier to press. Which is esp nice for gaming. On my g502 it's kind awkward to press them but on the x version it's super easy, slide your finger to the left and you can easily press both of them because they are slightly angeled up. While the regular version is angeled down.
Also, the g502 is by far the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. Poeple are obsessed with those fugly ultra light mice that look like cheap laptop mice you take with you in a laptop bag. But they got nothing on the g502 in comfort and usability
Also, before I got my g502 I thought the scrollwheel would be useless. Bro it's absolutely fantastic scrolling through pages and text etc. It's kinda like how you swipe on a touch screen and the screen keeps scrolling, only you swipe the scroll wheel.
EDIT (I have a basilisk x, it has a very similar design but despite that it just isn't as comfortable and nice in my hand)

The g502 is great the things people say are bad such being heavy and small size is bs and u can get used to very easily but the too many buttons is true and u might accidentally click a button
I love this mouse so much but it started double clicking which pisses me off
after 3 years of normal use (8 to 10 hours a day) the battery died and the mouse won't turn on. Maybe that I should have used a wired mouse for desktop use and only the wireless for gaming, but it still feels like it's a pretty short lifespan. I have a razer wired mouse that lasted more than 10 years with daily use.
Disclaimer: I'm a software developer and I generally stay in front of a computer for 13 hours per day. After 2 years, my G502 Lightspeed SUFFERS from the double click issue and the rubber sides are totally consumed. Rubber is NEVER a good option.

Ima just a boy with weak little noodle arms and my arms hurt after like an hours with the mouse but it is very comfy and nice I just got to get used to it

I hqd this one for 2-3 years. Flawless. Now i have the wireless one (proteus spectrum). It double and triple clicks like crazy after only 1 year. Logitech should put some quality switches, considering the price tag.

Been looking at a bunch of videos and reddit posts. Might make the jump since every mouse that I've had always gives me issues after a year of use. Either the cable starts to have connection issues or the buttons start to double click or even worse registers like 5 clicks at once.

not even a year using it, and already regret buying it, everything is perfect, except the scroll wheel, that Scrolls too much and is a bit slippery; the feel and texture, if your hands are wet, it feels weird and uncomfortable; and the custom software tends to bug and not open, a lot, which makes me have to turn off my laptop every time it happens, also low customizable lights.

It's always good even if you don't buy a gameing mouse . Logitech company is much better the battery last long so good company. I even dropped it couple of times nothing happened to it. Also you can connected to Bluetooth on any devices like smart phones tablets TVs pc . The point from your video you are absolutely right I think logical is good I will recommend it I will buy logitech mouse G903 and sell my old MX master logitech mouse.

It should come preprogrammed with 5 different dpi settings. 1 of those is 800 I think but it will be impossible to tell without checking the software. If you turn on the onboard memory setting in the software you can set it up how you want and then save it to the mouse onboard memory and close the app.
