I lived in Mexico as a legal immigrant for about 3 years and some mexicans didn't like me because I am an american. As someone who's not a Trump supporter, you guys are being hypocritical. She didn't cut anyone off and it seems like you guys are just disregarding her points.
That's because she IS only influenced by the media. She sees white reporters and automatically assumes that it's the truth because she's also white. White privileged people don't see their privilege because they have never struggled and only think other ppls stories of struggle are examples of laziness. She has the conditioned mindset of "if I can do it do can you"
You forget the fact that not all white people are privileged. I happen to be white but I wasn’t privileged by any means. I was raised in a lower middle class household and was taught to be grateful for what I had, have an open mind, and to be humble and kind. I was bullied and teased many times in my life because of my obesity but I know that there’s many people out there that had it worse than I did. Those that were abused, discriminated and bullied simply because of their gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, culture or religion. I never try to not be racist because I always try to be myself. Instead, I do my best to respect others and have common courtesy to anyone who has walked a different path of life than I had. In the end, we’re all human. We all bleed red.

I am half white, half Hispanic (my mom being Hispanic and by dad being white) and I grew up in a Lower Class household where I literally had to sleep on a mattress on the ground. As I grew up I was able to move up to upper middle class but only because my dad worked 60 hours a week. My grandparents were only able to move to the USA because they worked very hard in those Latin American countries. I agree, we're all equal and race shouldn't even matter to people. I hate it whenever someone brings up race and is "proud" of their race.
