What’s up! I know this might seem off topic, but here’s for anyone who feels they’ve lost hope and needs to hear this: whether you believe in Heaven or not, consider this, if there was a Heaven, are you sure you’d go there after death? If you’re not sure, here you go: God loves you, and he became a human as Jesus, died to take the penalty for anything wrong you’d ever do, and rose from the dead. Sin is disobedience to Jesus’ commandments for how to live, and sin separates us from him- if you want to be saved from hell and be with God forever after death, just believe in Jesus and what he did (John 3:16) and turn away from habits of sin (Luke 13:3). That’s it. Our actions are the evidence for whether our faith is real (James 2:17), but since everyone fails on a daily basis, we aren’t saved by our actions, but only by God’s mercy (Ephesians 2:8-9), so when we fail, all we need to do is confess our sins to God, and continue fighting (1 John 1:9). Hopefully this helps anybody in need, and I hope you have a great day!
That the Salamanders are not the favorite faction of Warhammer, is sadly a stark look into the general prevailing trait humans exhibit in literally every facet of our known existence. And that trait is sociopathy. The disdain for or inability to consider another is, as far as my nearly half a decade of existenial experience has wrought unto me, is exacerbating at an alarming, though predicted rate. Narcissistic values and goals are now promoted as a "go getter" attitude. We praise and reward and heal money and fame and power on our most popular narcissists and psychopaths, and we look down on and hate and ridicule those who warn away from such things. I'd give a warning and or a prophecy for each and every Warhammer fan, and that is, all this time playing war, and you'll soon perhaps be in the middle of a real one. And the most unbelievable aspect of Warhammer isn't the technology, it isn't the primarchs or the emperor, not the Necrons, or the warp or Orks, no none of that. The most unbelievable aspect is finding honor in war. There is no f*CKING honor when you see an old lady laying up on the broken body of her son or husband wailing and crying to be killed because the pain of losing them is too much to bear. Or children dirty, starving and terrified, because their parents were killed in a bombing and they are now war orphans. So small they haven't fully emotionally processed what life decided to do to them by making them victims in the worst way possible. What glorious honor is found in war. Not even revenge against a perpetrator makes anything right or whole of avenged. It simply add just one more broken and hurt human somewhere down the line, that will continue the never ending cycle of victims and vengeance.
