- Suleiman Sentences Ahmed Pasha "GOD IS GREATER THAN YOU!"
Watch Episode 128 👉 • Magnificent Century Ep...
Hürrem blames Suleiman embittering the fight between Selim and Bayezid. As Bayezid chases up the ones who has set a trap for him, Selim gets worried that he'll get disclosed. Suleiman confiscates Mahidevran's wealth because she has supported the revolt. Hürrem brings Selim to account after she learns that he has set the trap for Bayezid. Meanwhile, Fatma plays Nurbanu and Huricihan off against each other and turns the harem upside down. Suleiman orders that Kara Ahmed will be executed since he has taken up the revolt. Someone witnesses Gazanfer's love for Nurbanu that causes to be shed blood. Hürrem takes a vow to not to choose between his sons and chooses her nominee for throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I dont think that any of these grand viziers actually understood how fast can Sultan Suleiman spill blood for his state. It was foolish for Ahmed to think he s special after Ibrahim s death.
even ibrahim became arrogant
It’s not for the State. It’s for the nobility’s blood lines Pride and power. He doesn’t care about his people, just his pride and power. 🤷
nibba killed his own son over fake allegations and these bozos think he would spare them lmao, he was old and on the edge over everything, thats why old people should retire and give responsibility onto deserving youngstars, or it ends up with drunkyard dishonorable people taking over power because they have the advantage of caring less about their loved ones unlike the more pure hearted ones

0:51 There it is... The greed that each pasha (Ibrahim, Sah's husband, and now Fatma's husband Ahmed) had that brought them at death's door
But unfortunately Shah's husband Lutfi Pasha was not executed like the other Grand Viziers. He was exiled because of Shah Sultan or else Lutfi definitely lost his head.
@@ssg2707 in the true history the reason that loutfi basha was not executed because his daughter she was shahezada mehemt wife and he love her and his son so much when they ask him yo keep lutfi pasha life he did
I love Rustem so much! He saw Suleiman and in two seconds he created a plan to destroy Ahmed pasha! He made him say the words that will kill him!! Love him!
Yes, Rustem is a great caracter, my favorit grandvezir.
4:43 ibrahim would be rolling in his grave hearing that. He was also promised that but what happened to him? 😂

ibrahim has way better protection actyually, i actually laugh at ahmed pasha condition that he cant be executed while in his duty as grand vizier, sultan suleyman be like : I'll take it, you go kinda of thing lol
in Ibrahim pasha case, sultan suleyman be like : a'ight imma go to sleep

What is the problem with that
I mean what is the problem if she killed him was he the grand vizier?
Ahmed Pasha should have listened to Rustem about arrogance of previous Grand Viziers. Since he was Ibrahim Pasha's protege many years before, he saw first hand how arrogance and ambition destroyed Ibrahim and eventually lead to his execution.
Suleiman made his all sis widow. Magnificent 🤣
This is the third time he's done it actually.
@@dannie4528 he left Sah's spineless husband alive but I think she divorced him.

Ibrahim Pasha was not husband of Hatice Sultan in real life. So, Suleiman executed two grooms; Ferhat and Ahmet Pasha. But Suleiman also exiled Lütfi Pasha.
Point 😂❤

@@valentinasvetlaoka9153??
The series is quite inaccurate. Hürrem's real power isn't shown. She didn't create a secret chamber to listen what happens inside the court hall, but Süleyman himself always asked advice to Hürrem. And Hürrem, once got married to Süleyman, was raised to a status equal to him, which means she bowed to no one. Even Süleyman's sisters bowed to Hürrem
There are many inaccuracies in this series, but I watch for the drama. It's entertainment and fictionalized history. My issue with this show is how many sideplots make absolutely no sense in a historical context
@@SaltySteffi wish they made the costumes accurate at least, half the people in the show wore fantasy medieval leather gear

Promotion to Grand Vizier of Ottoman court = execution 😮😮
Kind of... in real life, they didn't last more than 2 years after this assignment...
All he had to do was respect the laws and he failed 🙄 how hard is it to just do your job knowing that your life is on the line?!
In truth, in the real past, that's what the scribes from the palace also say, and actually everyone in the palace knew that, including the other Pashas, Prince Beyazid and Prince Selim.
Grand Vizier Kara Ahmed Pasha was not corrupt, he was fair and just.
In a short time he took all the castles and fortresses in the Caucasus alone without Sultan Süleyman.
Rüstem Pasha and Hürem Sultan just wanted to get him out of the way.
Rustem's expressions kill me 😂
Bravo valide sultan. In history she did the same and when fatma talked back and took actions, she along with Suleiman sent fatma far away from capital by their orders.
Man, this culture had some truly amazing hats.
Suleiman was a killer machine

Being a ruler comes with checks and balances. I look at all these shows, being too weak got you killed, being to strict followed the same fate eventually
Even though I don't understand now what is happening here, why is it happening..........and what is Ahmed Pasha's real fault.......but his last words are true,"Don't be proud Sultan Suleiman,,,,God is bigger than you..Don't forget. You will pay for the lives you took in after Life.".Sultan Suleiman is responsible for all this in the field of Hashar. It has to be done why he took some innocent lives........there is no bravado in being the king of the world....this is life in some days.....trying to imagine what will be the state of Sultan Suleiman on Hashar's judgment day.. .......Shahzada Mustafa,,,,,,, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim Pasha, standing in front of him, 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Agree
I enjoy a culture where only half of a story is spoken. The rest of the story is found only in ones eyes.
Like yourself, I too was attentively watching the eye movements in this particular scene. It was almost as if Ahmed Pasha was pleading with others to speak/act on his behalf while knowing that implicating others would not save him. The story found only in one's eyes was very poignant in this particular scene. Excellent acting.

The critical question is.
If Ottoman Empire had not fallen in 1924, and persisted. Would the Ottomans be the first to invent the Warp Drive?
Why would anyone want this horrible job almost everyone who get are being killed
Suleman made all his sisters widows😮
Wow we can dislike Ahmed Pasha but he die in a very dignified way unlike Ferhat Pasha ( understand that mee too I will be scared to the death, I confess that I can be a coward but the difference between them and me and that I'm not always looking for trouble).

The cross triumphs over the crescent ☦️
No it doesn’t, because Jesus (hazrat Essa PBUH) is our prophet. Both religions believe there is only one god.
No future in Christianity
Ahmed was completely an idiot for overstepping prince Selim and especially being too arrogant about having the protection of the sultan who had already executed his own son prior to his appointment as grand vizier. What a complete idiot he was walking around as if he’s untouchable except for the sultan.
did they actually strangle everyone or is this just the tv version? legit curious or im guessing they can’t show blood in some regions idk
If you believe what is shown as true in this series, Hurrem was the all powerful lady. She ran the show. Suleiman was far from magnificent and he was just a puppet in her hands believing and acting based on everything she said. The director showed him as an ordinary emotional fool who never analyzed situations using his own brain and cruelly killed his sons and grandsons. His disguised interactions with the common people in market were very interesting. Only after hearing from common people that Hurrem may be involved in Mustafa's murder, he questioned her. What an idiot 😂

I CANNOT BELIEVE I'm saying this but.... But.... I miss Ibrahim 😭😭😭 I hated that guy when he was alive but i have to admit it, no other grand vezir was as intelligent as he was. No one could handle foreign affairs like him. I wish he wasn't against Hurrem, things would be so different. Him, Hurrem and Suleiman would be undefeatable 😢
Rustem pasha was much better in foreign affairs. For example, a truce of Adrianople concluded by Ottoman Empire with Charles V in 1547 was a great success of Rustem as a Grand Vizier.
