@Ahmad munif I strongly believe that Sah doesn't hold Hurrem accountable for what happened to Ibrahim, even though his loss got her somewhat upset as well. She had her own reasons to dislike Hurrem. But yeah, Ibrahim brought this on himself. He wasn't listening to anyone

Nobody would have even needed to do anything for his eventual downfall, he did it himself. He was warned repeatedly and he still pushed forward, because he was so arrogant. Even the way he spoke to Mustafa, like he was his father. They all eventually hold Hurrem to blame for it all, but he signed his own fate with his behaviour, not her.
If Mustapha was to be the sultan he would have executed Ibrahim just like his father did..since Ibrahim would have acted like he own Mustapha and 2 kings cannot rule one kingdom
Arrogance and being suleyman's brother-in-law and the grand vizer had gone to Ibrahim's head. He forgot that he's still a slave to the sultan and his family. Having his own sculpture made and also talking to mustafa privately had hasten not only his own demise but that of Mustafa's chance of getting to the throne. He's not as smart in his daily life as he's in the battlefield.

Not only hatice was above Ibrahim, so was Hureem who was freed by Suleyman and was married to him too. She's Suleyman's queen ... Ibrahim forgot himself and became to confident because of greed, arrogance, delusion ....
Mihrimah 😂. She even allowed Rustem to have an affair and attack her physically. Both offences towards a Sultana could cost him his life, but they made Mihrimah a brainleas puppet

It was unsolvable. Ibrahim kept degenerating in his arrogance. Did anyone ever have to lift Sultan's hand for it to be kissed? Ibrahim's arrogance was a stinker!
In real history, the sultan who was interested in sculpture was Suleyman. Foreign ambassadors say that the Istanbul Hippodrome is full of sculptures and that Suleyman placed the sculptures from the places he conquered there. The sculptures that Suleyman loved the most were the sculptures of women. There is even a portrait of Suleyman, look closely at that picture while he is passing through the Hippodrome on a horse, you will see the sculptures around him.
In fact, although it was forbidden in Islam, Suleyman did it again. Although it was forbidden in the Islamic sect that Suleyman belonged to, military recruits such as the Janissaries did it again. In fact, Suleyman found Islamic law insufficient and legalized Roman law after Mehmet II. He is also the only sultan who tried to conquer Rome after Mehmet II.
Sultan had limitless power so he could do almost anything without question but with Ibrahim I believe him making his own statue put him on equal footing with the sultan and this was a problem as they aren’t equals. I know that islamically it’s wrong but honestly very few Muslim rulers lived exemplary lives. 🥲
The dresses are beautiful, but 1000% wrong. The style you see wasn't even a thing for a couple hundred more years. I sort of understand why the show did this though, what they actually wore would have made the show less "interesting"
Yeah, the costuming is, overall, something I file under historical changes such as women of the harem being able to meet privately with statesmen-impossible in real life but integrated to keep the plot moving in a way that harms little for the overall story.
@@imane5819 i agree but even though the ottoman empire was a dynasty that followed the rules of our Holy Quran very strictly, i think the body coverage rule didn't apply to the slaves and concubines. That might be because most of the concubines are christian so they don't need to cover their chest and necks with clothing because they weren't muslim yet. And the reason they might be wearing revealing dresses because they're concubines. Their only job is to seduce the Sultan with their bodies and make them feel good so that they can get pregnant and give birth to a heir. Third, I've observed how the Sultanas and concubines cover themselves with a big piece of clothe whenever they're meeting a man who isn't a shehzade or Sultan. An example of this is Hurrem covering herself whenever she went to meet Ibrahim.
