I’m obsessed with the fact that she’s not like 15 years old. Nothing wrong with getting famous young. But it’s super rare to see people become super famous after 30. She’s getting so big and I’m so happy for her.

Right! She’s still young too and it’s like a new beginning in her career. But I notice a lot more 18-20 year olds becoming famous overnight & going viral getting massive success when there are people like Victoria who’ve been working for over a decade. I’m super happy for her though, it’s her time now!
No because I became even more obsessed with Beyoncè when I heard The Beyoncé Experience was when she was like 27 and her more legendary and iconic status came in her later years. There’s something about it!

as quiet as it is kept artists like victoria, tyla, coco jones, etc are the it girls of popular music right now but pop music fans wouldn't acclaimed them as such bc they are black/mixed with black (in the case of tyla) female artists that don't make radio friendly pop music, i've seen this behavior starting with the tate mcrae and addison rae discourses from last year even girls like victoria checks all the boxes there's something to be said about word of mouth social media buzz from pop music fans being rooted in racial/music genre bias bc all actuality victoria is defintionly the it girl of the moment jaguar 2 was one of the best and most underrated albums from last year i'm still blasting the ish from i'm the one to on my mama to smoke to hollywood to party girls just a blast cohesive record i hope this is the beginning of victori'a domination to music so proud of her

I'm so happy for Victoria Monet she's worked so hard. I also want to give a shout out to both Miley Cyrus & Coco Jones as well because they both win grammy awards. Coco won her first grammy & Miley Cyrus won 2 grammys. I really wanted all 3 of these ladies to go home w/ one or more grammy awards & I'm glad that it happened. 😊

About 10 years ago, Spotify put Victoria on my Discover Weekly. Ever since then, I've been so invested in her breaking through. I can't say enough how proud of her I am. So deserved!
I’ve been a fan since 2016 or 2017 🧐 can’t remember how long, but it’s been a while. And I am so happy that she’s being recognized, Victoria deserves her flowers.
Tho is ironic that she won Best New Artist knowing she’s been making music for longer than 2 years; but she’s new to the mainstream audience/media

taylor is the most famous musician currently and is the same age. times are different and people are really starting to hit their prime in their 30s . you’re never too old. tyla slays but victoria has been behind the scenes for over a decade. this is her moment
@@gabriella5284 bad exmple taylor has been around since her teen , she build a solid fan base worldwide* which not at lot of recent american artist has achived. i live in paris for exmple , and Doja is an artist that is everwhere inradio , malls , parties, doja made it she's a worldwide artist , tyla is a very recent artist and ppls know and talk about here here, but trust that not single soul know about mrs monet , NEVER heard of her of any of her song anywhere or by anyone. I watched this live & her speech really got me. I'd be lying if I didn't shed a few tears. I also really wish SZA got the last award, love Taylor, but just this once please..maybe next time though. I digress. All girlies were well deserved with their awards. 🩷
The fun part is the album, JAGUAR II, is out and people love it, all she has to do is pick singles and make music videos to take the era into visual territories while the attention is on her, building now for mainstream longevity
She’s got the mainstream success but making an era that people can think back on visually is how you stay on their minds and make your mark in their hearts as part of a good memory
