It’s definitely the celebrity’s prerogative if they want to use their platform to speak up about stuff like that, but it has been impactful before. Look at the Me Too movement for example that started on Twitter & actually helped get justice for the many victims of Harvey Weinstein. But it’s a tricky conversation that’s why me personally, I do believe voices & platforms can be powerful when speaking up, but I also believe it’s their prerogative at the end of the day!

Okay, I’m nobody’s hardcore fan. However, I do have some questions about this. I don’t follow or keep track of any celebrities so I am genuinely curious. Why would Francia even be tested to see if she was a match if she didn’t intend on giving her a kidney?? It doesn’t make sense that she was guilted into it because the doctor told Selena before informing Francia. Why even be tested in the first place? If she did it thinking it wasn’t likely that’s just messed up on her part!! Of course Selena would have been excited to tell her because getting tested in the first place indicates that you are willing to donate if you’re a match? So that story doesn’t really doesn’t add up to me. Also some of the other things pointed out seem more indicative of having very low self esteem rather than a victim mentality. About the Francia question, in an interview she was in she said that she wanted to take the test because selena and francia were bestfriends and that the chances were little if they could actually match. She in fact didn't intend to donate her kidney BUT she wanted to be informed first IN CASE she was a match. If she was a match AND if the doctor told her first she actually would've had a say on it (not that she didn't have a say in the other scenario where the doctor told selena first. I came across tiktoks arguing this point and it makes no sense for it to be about Selena. It’s weird that Selena’s fans believed it was directed at Selena. It did not help that Selena commented on those tiktoks pushing that narrative.

I used to believe she was bullied until I saw her for who she was. She started commenting on tiktoks left and right that hated on Hailey’s skit on Taylor Swift. That’s when I saw her mask fall out. After that happened, I immediately called her fans out whenever they hated on Hailey. I definitely don’t what anything to do with Selena after I figured her out since last year’s fiasco she caused. I did my research and found the lies and passive aggressive behavior on Selena’s part. So yeah, I fully believe that Selena caused the drama.

She is a celebrity and musician and might not have the complete knowledge of geopolitics....... like supporting your musician friend is different than commenting on war and thinking that'll help she can highlight charities sure but picking sides in a WAR can definitely be said is out of her realm of knowledge (I don't mean negatively).

It’s definitely the celebrity’s prerogative if they want to use their platform to speak up about stuff like that, but it has been impactful before. Look at the Me Too movement for example that started on Twitter & actually helped get justice for the many victims of Harvey Weinstein. But it’s a tricky conversation that’s why me personally, I do believe voices & platforms can be powerful when speaking up, but I also believe it’s their prerogative at the end of the day!

And they’re taking the time to be educated & informed before speaking up. She definitely has the resources if she has a strong pr team like that. I just feel like if she has all the time and energy to be commenting on content about her ex she probably could find the time to educate herself. 😅 But I definitely think she should’ve kept quiet instead of posting making it about herself. That’s what got most people upset- not only the fact that she didn’t speak up, just the victimization part.

Okay, I’m nobody’s hardcore fan. However, I do have some questions about this. I don’t follow or keep track of any celebrities so I am genuinely curious. Why would Francia even be tested to see if she was a match if she didn’t intend on giving her a kidney?? It doesn’t make sense that she was guilted into it because the doctor told Selena before informing Francia. Why even be tested in the first place? If she did it thinking it wasn’t likely that’s just messed up on her part!! Of course Selena would have been excited to tell her because getting tested in the first place indicates that you are willing to donate if you’re a match? So that story doesn’t really doesn’t add up to me. Also some of the other things pointed out seem more indicative of having very low self esteem rather than a victim mentality. Like not believing your platform can make a difference, or saying things like I wish I was as pretty as so and so. Maybe she really feels that way and thought I’d be okay to post because it was a compliment to the other person. A lot of it just seems more indicative of extremely low self esteem rather than victim mentality. About the Francia question, in an interview she was in she said that she wanted to take the test because selena and francia were bestfriends and that the chances were little if they could actually match. She in fact didn't intend to donate her kidney BUT she wanted to be informed first IN CASE she was a match. If she was a match AND if the doctor told her first she actually would've had a say on it (not that she didn't have a say in the other scenario where the doctor told selena first. But she was very pressured and guilty if she didn't give her). I think that selena is just a master manipulator. Hope this was a little clear haha
That is exactly how I saw it. I have a very low self esteem, and I recognized myself in Selena a bit with the comparing and she does have lupus, so her body change is certainly impacting her self esteem.

This way she could fish for compliments and get her fans to argue that Bella had gotten that beautiful by resorting to plastic surgery, whereas Selena was portrayed as the natural beauty.
I’m not saying she is an ugly beast, but it’s more than obvious that she has had some work done, notably her eyelid surgery, her many fillers and Botox also resulting in her eyebrows being much more raised permanently, the fox eye surgery just to name some of the procedures. By picking specifically Bella, it not only lead to her defending her role as a relatable victim, but it also shielded her and possible procedures having been performed on her from public scrutiny while elevating her to a benevolent yet naturally beautiful creature. This level of fakeness aggravates me as I despise notoriously deceptive people like her.
