Selena experienced emotional abuse from Justin. Hailey is now going through the same thing. Look at the Me Too movement for example that started on Twitter & actually helped get justice for the many victims of Harvey Weinstein. But it’s a tricky conversation that’s why me personally, I do believe voices & platforms can be powerful when speaking up, but I also believe it’s their prerogative at the end of the day!

I’m not saying she is an ugly beast, but it’s more than obvious that she has had some work done, notably her eyelid surgery, her many fillers and Botox also resulting in her eyebrows being much more raised permanently, the fox eye surgery just to name some of the procedures. By picking specifically Bella, it not only lead to her defending her role as a relatable victim, but it also shielded her and possible procedures having been performed on her from public scrutiny while elevating her to a benevolent yet naturally beautiful creature. This level of fakeness aggravates me as I despise notoriously deceptive people like her.

Selenator here. Coming from an internet deprived and no exposure to pop or American/English songs background, the first artist I got to know was Selena, I loved her music, her acting, and her. She was Hannah Montana for me. I supported her over the years and always felt like the society is bad towards her. JB destroyed her. I believed it so much that I used to troll other celebs who had beef with her. But gradually I felt that she plays the victim card even when not necessary. And the fallout with Francia made me realise I don't want to be inspired by someone like her. The fallout destroyed her image. Now everyone can see the real her.

It’s definitely the celebrity’s prerogative if they want to use their platform to speak up about stuff like that, but it has been impactful before. Look at the Me Too movement for example that started on Twitter & actually helped get justice for the many victims of Harvey Weinstein. But it’s a tricky conversation that’s why me personally, I do believe voices & platforms can be powerful when speaking up, but I also believe it’s their prerogative at the end of the day!

And they’re taking the time to be educated & informed before speaking up. She definitely has the resources if she has a strong pr team like that. I just feel like if she has all the time and energy to be commenting on content about her ex she probably could find the time to educate herself. 😅 But I definitely think she should’ve kept quiet instead of posting making it about herself. That’s what got most people upset- not only the fact that she didn’t speak up, just the victimization part.

She chose an infamous celebrity like Bella Hadid, infamous in the sense that Bella had already been picked on for having cosmetic intervention done, on purpose. This way she could fish for compliments and get her fans to argue that Bella had gotten that beautiful by resorting to plastic surgery, whereas Selena was portrayed as the natural beauty.
I’m not saying she is an ugly beast, but it’s more than obvious that she has had some work done, notably her eyelid surgery, her many fillers and Botox also resulting in her eyebrows being much more raised permanently, the fox eye surgery just to name some of the procedures. By picking specifically Bella, it not only lead to her defending her role as a relatable victim, but it also shielded her and possible procedures having been performed on her from public scrutiny while elevating her to a benevolent yet naturally beautiful creature. This level of fakeness aggravates me as I despise notoriously deceptive people like her.
