If u have any experience on the matter.....pleeeeze share.

Funny thing about the play of words, I went to get my botox done last week, and after watching some videos, I was watching the nurse do the mixture and pulling the needle out of the bottle, I look at the bottle, and it was labeled DYSPORT!!!!!! I was being CHARGED FOR BOTOX, which in this clinic costs 3x as much as Dysport injections! I was SO PISSED that they would try to pull one over on their clients like that and then she pretended like she thought id asked for dysport, I've been getting botox done by her for 4 years, she knows I've never tried dysport, so she knew I had caught her and this is a BSN nurse practictioner. she should've known better. I imagine MANY practitioners are doing this same thing, billing for one thing and using something far cheaper. Not cool to steal from loyal customers like this. it really put me off and I'm still upset about it
i am honestly shook from watching this. now i understand why so many people are flying internationally to your clinic. if people are going to achieve results and invest a lot of money, of course they want to get it done with someone who is trustworthy. i truly respect your dedication, expertise and integrity to deal with the cosmetic medicinal industry. thank you for all you do! ahh such a rare gem, true doctor! 💜💜💜

This is a requirement for me to feel I can trust the process. My dermatologist is like-minded, which is why he gets my money and patronage, not to mention he's talented and professional.

Dr. Lim it's a damn shame when you get hate mail for telling the truth...my inbox stays full! I like it like that. My dad says that means I'm doing something right. bahahaha. When I had reps coming in showing me their products, I scheduled all my appointments personally. They would only get my time if they could tell me 2 of the greatest weakness of their product. If they said, my product is perfect...or such...I hung up the phone. Then the next person up the chain would call...and up we'd go until I got pissed or one met my challenge. It was pretty effective. Wish all doctors were as honest as you. Most dermatological procedures aren’t covered by insurance, & we all would all like to look our best; but we don’t want to be scammed. Personally I feel more clients would come in for maintenance & preventive treatments if they were affordable & if they really work. No one wants to be taken advantage of; how do these people sleep at night?? Love your work ethics & how you love what you do & truly care for your patients. Keep up the good work! I’m a medical student and I’m really grateful for your honest videos. It’s so hard to find “medical minded” practitioners to give skincare and hair removal advice from a scientific and honest perspective. It’s all GPs who have gone into the cosmetic industry making a bucket load of money. I feel so superficial engaging with these people, it all seems like such a money making focus. I just want honest, evidence based advice about the safest way to treat my skin concerns. Thank you for keeping it real.
Love your videos!! I’m a nurse and worked for a plastic surgeon for 2 years and did learn a lot from him but that was 10 years ago and the industry is constantly changing. I did use a cutera laser and did some injections while I worked for him but he was VERY much present and involved. I also had laser hair removal before and during my time working for him and must say that I feel like the areas treated with IPL needed more touch ups then the areas treated with a old school YAG. Also, since he was a plastic surgeon he constantly reminded me of the benefits but also limitations of skincare which has probably saved me thousands over the years 🤣 Current skincare regimen is mostly drugstore with the exception of tretinoin and obagi vitamin C and of course my favorite, Elta MD UV clear 😊
Naghma M sure! I use Cerave creamy cleanser, cerave pm moisterizer, the ordinary niacidimide, the ordinary acid toner and the ordinary marula oil (few drops added to my moisturizer) and also hada labo oil cleanser and hyaloronic acid gel hydrator.
I got a fractional Laser and my scars are worse now. They also talked me into buying other things. I look uglier then what I did. I'm so disappointed in them, I trusted that Dr. Thank you for being so honest, and helping us.
I had three and look bad two mixto and one can't think of the name but really disappointed .then fat transfer it lasted about three months.lots of promising and lots of disappointing.wish they were all like you

At the beginning of 2000 i started aesthetics. Now the only procedures i do are Botox and HA. For me nothing else really works over a week or 2. Even fractional lasers or TCA. So yes it’s a shame to fool people. Thx Davin for your courage and honesty.

OMG! This video is surely very, very useful. That's exactly the way I explain to my clients and that's how it should be. I also give the double or triple the recommended shots and I use normal moisturizers for that same reason when someone asks. I defend that we should be first of all focused on results rather than the priority being super expensive treatments.. Honesty always. I love your videos and I learn so much with you. I'm not against them having profit, but NOT on the patients' detriment!! By the way this isn't the only b**it industry... all of the top cosmetic brands have been using harmful ingredients like parabens for years before they were banned. The food industries too. This video and the other where you show us the actual laser mechanics, screens and appendixes is very helpful... if we visit a clinic we can identify if it is the real one by checking your video. There's so many dodgy people in South Australia doing laser treatments on customers. They know nothing about lasers, and give false information. I used to buy magazines on plastic, and cosmetic surgery. In the hope of finding a certified/qualified person to work on my skin in South Australia. But I can't find anyone in South Australia. I wish I knew how to change this industry. Dodgy people are damaging or not doing a proper job on customers. My skin has multiple problems. Even through I'm poor. I've been spending years saving my money to fix my skin. I don't want to waste my money in South Australia, to dodgy people. I hate not being able to trust people in my state. But it's the way it is.
This is so good to know. I would love to add laser hair removal or ipl to my practice but it looks like I have a lot more research to do before I invest in equipment!!

Ippocrates would be proud of you doctor for honoring his oath... Don't let them bully you, the companies should adhere to proper regulations. I'm not against them having profit, but NOT on the patients' detriment!! By the way this isn't the only b**it industry... all of the top cosmetic brands have been using harmful ingredients like parabens for years before they were banned. The food industries too. This video and the other where you show us the actual laser mechanics, screens and appendixes is very helpful... if we visit a clinic we can identify if it is the real one by checking your video. CHEERS!!

There's so many dodgy people in South Australia doing laser treatments on customers. They know nothing about lasers, and give false information. I used to buy magazines on plastic, and cosmetic surgery. In the hope of finding a certified/qualified person to work on my skin in South Australia. But I can't find anyone in South Australia. I wish I knew how to change this industry. Dodgy people are damaging or not doing a proper job on customers.
My skin has multiple problems. Even through I'm poor. I've been spending years saving my money to fix my skin. I don't want to waste my money in South Australia, to dodgy people. I hate not being able to trust people in my state. But it's the way it is.
